At least I succeeded in destroying something. EP, remember that the responsibility of an RP leader is not just to only interact with the others, but to create and introduce interesting scenarios. I mean seriously, man, this is a war RP and you start the first thing with "ANY QUESTIONS?"? Your interactions with other characters has been minimal, at that. I think Chris Avellone said it best: "You are not there to be entertained as a gamemaster. The satisfaction you feel should be secondary to the players having a good time-and if they do, your satisfaction comes after the session is over and they want to play more."

I quit on reasons of slowness, dullness, and not enough people getting killed yet.

I'm not violently opposed to pulling double duty, but if I do, my character might be a tad bit on the goofy side.

I agree as well, overly-white-knight paladins are boring as well. It's not realism I strive for (being a fantasy setting and all) but believability. The distinction is small but I believe it's there and it matters.

Nah, it's just that hate machines or destroyers-for-the-sake-of-destroying masquerading as characters is really boring. No PM necessary, like I said, I'll see when the RP gets going.

It's not the backstory I'm so worried about as much as the irrational hatred. Kinda like "KILL ALL REDHEADS. Why? BECAUSE THEY ARE JERKS AND ARE EVIL!" The motive for her that you wrote down doesn't exactly inspire confidence either. We'll see when the RP starts, though.
