  1. FE16 "leaks"

I feel that the Cipher OCs and whatnot aren't in any way connected to FE16. It would completely alienate a lot of western FE players, a large part of buyers, to do so. It's probably just a reference for fans of Cipher for a Cipher character to ask something about the Boundless Chaos. I do think that Cipher OCs will be DLC in FE16 though sense Echoes did so. I also enjoy Nieve's art. It's tasteful fanservice which I can get behind. More is less after all.

These are both Cipher mascots. Pretty recent ones at that. They've introduced quite a few recently.
  3. Julius and Ishtar, creepy or sweet?

I think it's just supposed to show that he once was a genuinely good guy and that Lopto is the only reason he is the way he is now. It also helps show the inner conflict of Ishtar as she struggles against the right path of justice, or the obviously less righteous path of staying with the ones she loves despite their evils.

Whining is what we do best though, kappa.
  5. FE16 "leaks"

Their Youtube channel is, in all honesty, the only channel I have notifications on for.
  6. Not to side with anyone, but I'm 99% sure people get off to pretty dark as shit rapey stuff on the net and they aren't raping people so I don't think it's as simple as that.
  7. The author was found to have... dubious, shall we say, materials of underage females. It sparked a debate by many about if you can still enjoy art if you don't like the artist/they're a terrible person. Personally, I think you can. I fucking hate 99% of Hollywood, but that hasn't stopped me from buying their shit movies.
  8. Considering how the games act, sometimes they want to act like they take place in medieval times with medieval values, then they're suddenly very egalitarian. Also, it wouldn't be the first time something unappealing to people appears in a game taking place in a different period. Not that I'm defending the Sanaki thing though. This better be some culture gap about what a flower girl looks like or something.
  9. General Trails thread

I admittedly had that issue a lot in CS and CSII where there are a lot of good party members to use, but you only have 6. If you want to, just keep Alisa and Elliot in the back if you gotta choose ones outside the main four. They're more for support anyway.
  10. FE16 "leaks"

The amnesiac protags popular in the late 2000s and early 2010s are coming back! I sure hope that we'll speculating incorrectly. We've had enough amnesiacs in video games in the past decade or so to las a lifetime.
  11. FE16 "leaks"

The real question is if this confirms simply that part of the leak, or the leak as a whole. Only time will tell I guess. The only leaks I don't think are beneficial are the ones like Echoes where the whole game is spoiled and a free download of it is obtainable.

Do you realize it's actually getting ported? That was an official thing announced in March.
  13. Fire Emblem is "Anime"????

I think this is probably the most accurate. Most of the really bad tropes many associate with anime nowadays tends to come from light novels, particularly isekais, due to their bland writing, main character worshipping, and usage of tropes with barebone execution of said tropes. Tropes aren't inherently bad by any means, but when they are misused in a series that usually executes tropes well (and honestly is where most of the good writing is from), it can become noticeable and many may come to dislike it as we have seen.
  14. Fire Emblem is "Anime"????

I have to full-heartedly agree with this. The many distinctions of what's "anime" just confuses people in conversation so much that it's really annoying because what one person sees as "anime" going into a conversation may be completely different than someone else's definition of "anime." It's become such a loose word for English speakers, and probably others as well, that it's hard to get points across without being called a hater of anime or not understanding what is and isn't anime. We really need to create some new word to define it or something.
