I have heard that Shinon and Gatrie leave after Chapter 8, but is Chapter 5 the last time you see them before reuniting with them later? I just finished Chapter 5 and got separated from them. I'm worried because I left them with quite a few items and would prefer to have those items for the early stages of the game. Or at least, do they come back with the items they had when they left? Also, do they return with the same stats?

Does anyone know the stats for weapon triangle effects? I don't know if I'm just imagining it because they stress the weapon triangle so much in this game, but it feels like it affects damage more than I'm used to. Maybe they increased damage because there's no hit rate? Also, does the weapon rank affect the weapon triangle?

I understand the desire to avoid using Freddy, but it is necessary sometimes. Before I played Hard Mode, I reallyyy didn't want to give him experience. But after resetting a chapter five times, I finally learned my lesson and used him. It's definitely not necessary to abuse him in every chapter, since I benched him a lot at the beginning. Just don't feel guilty about using him every now and then! Reeking boxes are more expensive in Hard Mode, so while you make a profit from grinding in Normal, you always lose gold in Hard. This is another reason why Freddy is useful. He's already a tank, so you don't need to waste your small amount of gold on grinding low-leveled units. Also, I second the heal-spamming. Heal staves are cheap and it's really helpful to level up Lissa early on.

I'm currently playing FE8, and I'm planning on playing the other GBA titles after I finish it. So which one should I play first? Would it make more sense to start with FE7, since it's the prequel? Or is it better to start with FE6, since it came out first?

I just want Niles. I would be ecstatic to get a 3* Niles. He seems pretty common, so I think the game wants to torture me.

I usually have the worst luck ever, so I'm in disbelief right now... Yesterday I got 5* Marth on my first roll, and here he is again on my second roll.

On the Training Tower page, it says that it becomes available after completing the Preface, but it gets unlocked after completing Chapter 1.

I think that's pretty good luck! In my first session, I got four 3* heroes and one 4* hero.

I couldn't greet my friends yesterday, but the button started working today. I think it's because you can only greet people once a day (the button is grayed out now), and when you first start the game, it automatically greets people for you. Also, you can't pick specific people to greet, it greets all of your friends at once.

It's pretty early to tell, but does anyone know if there's a limit to amount of friends? EDIT: The max is 50.
