I miss when life was simple… I also miss this thread’s old, awkward, immature title, but that means nothing in the grand scheme of my meaningless, pathetic life.

The “because social media” reason holds no weight, because social media had already taken the place of message boards/forums in the minds of most by the time Fates released, and even moreso by Three Houses, but Serenes Forest was still active then. At its peak activity, even. Rather, I think a more reasonable explanation would be that Fire Emblem is no longer a thing popular with the general public, and has gone back to being something only diehard fans have stuck with. Fire Emblem is still more popular than it was pre-Awakening for sure, but it can’t be denied that the days of 2019 are over.

The best way I can think of that doesn’t involve going outside Serenes Forest is to post a thread in Far from the Forest for people to name as many FE mangas as they remember, preferably with artist name, number of volumes, and release year(s). Then, once we’ve got a good chunk of them named, we could start a list in chronological order that could be edited over time.

I checked there because you mentioned it and I couldn’t find a list or even a category for it. There’s quite a few articles about various manga adaptions but it’s scattered and nowhere near the full list. That also reminded me to check the NIWA wiki, which has an even more incomplete list than the FANDOM one unfortunately. I’ve come to the conclusion that there probably isn’t a well-known, extensive list on the web as of now. Which is why I think we should start our own. Do you think that would be a good idea?

Sort of. Unlike Elinini, I like Ikesoren and support it. However, I also feel like Ikesoren has better evidence backing it up than Elinini does. My main point with mentioning Ikesoren was that there’s a lot of people in the fandom saying both of these ambiguous ships are confirmed canon.

It surprises me with just how much Fire Emblem manga there is out there. It can get rather confusing pretty quickly. For instance, I’m pretty sure there’s two completely different series by different artists that are based on Genealogy. That made me wonder, is there a list of every officially licensed Fire Emblem manga that has been released over the course of the entire franchise’s lifespan? Serenes Forest doesn’t have one from what I’ve seen. (There’s a page labeled “Manga” that merely has the text “placeholder” and nothing else.) Maybe there exists a list elsewhere? If not, perhaps we could make one ourselves? Also, when I say every one, I mean it. From serialized stories to 4Komas to one-offs in magazines. It should be an extensive list.

I do not like Eliwood and Ninian being paired together at all. From when I discovered Blazing Blade in 2016 all the way to now, I’ve never understood it and how people say it’s ‘canon’ like it’s Ikesoren. I know they’re bad as units, but I think archers are neat.

I hate how this forum acts more like social media now. I just want to discuss things, not worry about a silly rank.
