Yup, it kept semi-faithful to Gaiden there. Guess I should be thankful that we got at least 1% growth rate versus 0% like in Gaiden.

Hard/Classic was definitely a fairly good difficulty for me. There was a good share of easy and frustratingly hard maps. The final battle had me using up all of my turnwheel uses and completely resetting in the end because I went about it all wrong initially. RNG just really hated me in my playthrough and had me crying over growth rates and a metric ton of one stat level ups. I probably leveled up RES once or twice the whole game. I did find myself invoking like 10,000 times too.

'm a bit of a newcomer to CFW. Please bear with me if I suddenly start sounding stupid.Also, if there is already a tutorial/thread for this sort of thing, please link it to me, for I may not be the best at sorting through Google and Forum searches. Thank you.I would like to ask for some help and tips on undubbing the Fire Emblem Fates DLC, specifically Conquest and Revelations.Previously when undubbing Birthright, which I bought on cartridge, I used a combination of content restoration patch voice files and other necessary files and HANS to patch the ROM.I now have CFW / A9LH on my 3DS, and as a result I believe I can now start on undubbing DLC, as HANS was unable to load DLC.The restoration patch I mentioned earlier has all of the necessary files, as it could be used with the Special Edition of Fates.How can I start doing this?1. Is there a way to dump the DLC and extract the files so I can modify them?2. Is there a way to make the patched DLC playable? Like make it a .cia or something (but would making it a .cia not work because the DLC might have some dependence on the game cartridge)?If my thought process is completely wrong, please let me know so I can properly try and do this.If any other info is needed, please ask and I will deliver to the best of my ability.

Sorry for wasting 30 seconds of your life :/ I found my old 3DS that I had stashed away in my drawer, and found an old Awakening save on it that was in the middle of the Endgame Grima Fight. I decided to just finish it for fun. Except I can't. My past self who was really bad at planning put my Chrom in a position where he can kill Grima with a critical hit but if he does not proc that crit, he will die, and trigger a Game Over. Chrom has a 23% chance at landing a crit and can double Grima. Grima has a 81% chance of hitting. As of now, I have probably tried over 50 times to land this stupid crit, but I have never managed to land it. I would think in one of those times I would have scored a crit, or Grima would have at least missed so Chrom can kill on the double attack. Is Grima invulnerable to critical hits? Or might it have to do with the fact that I'm just reloading the same save? The save doesn't really matter, I just want to know this. Apologies if this is a really stupid question.

Man, now I'm regretting updating my 3DS. I should've gotten CFW first, I was even about to get it... Nothing I can do now but wait. Bummer. In the meantime I guess I'll be learning how to go about patching DLC with CFW. Best to start before I lose interest. Just making sure, the undub patch here includes all voices for all three paths, right? Anywho, thanks for the information! Cheers.

So I have some questions regarding the undub process of DLC. Apologies in advance if I sound like a complete newbie; I've only recently gotten into ROM hacking and I still need ropes to guide me through things. I have an old 3DS running the most recent firmware and own Fates: Birthright on physical cartridge. I proceeded to undub only the Birthright route (because that was the only route I had) with the simple HANS method (not CFW). I ONLY applied the undub patch, and used HANS to play my patched game. Everything worked like a charm. It was a perfect playthrough. Now, I plan on buying both Conquest and Revelations as DLC paths. How do I go about undubbing these? I am only going to undub the game, nothing else. Any tutorials or the like for undubbing DLC paths? Can I even use the patch on this thread?
