It's just more of that stupid "Corrin is a bad character because he tries to reduce casualties" nonsense that people throw at Corrin. Its just amplified towards Male Corrin, because he's not as "hawt" as Female Corrin. Personally, I find them both yummy.

I honestly wasn't expecting Lissa to wield axes. I guess this means that Endgame was right. I wasn't expecting Fredrick to be in this: that's a neat surprise. I hope we still get more Awakening characters than just these guys: I wanna see Tharja and Donnel playable, dang it!!!!!!!!! @The DanMan Was the voice acting really that bad? You've got an eye for quality: what do you think?

@Azz I've given PLENTY of reasons why I hate Echoes. It's got: Bland, empty maps. Characters that are either as bland as a piece of wood, or dumb as rocks. A plot twist that flies in the face of one of the game's major themes. Etc. Note that I haven't attacked people that like Echoes without provocation. Plainsandfields does attack Fates/Awakening fans for no reason. Which is why he's almost as bad of a troll as Endgame.

He literally attacks anyone who says anything positive about Awakening/Fates, or anyone who says something negative about Valentia.

Well, I'd hate to have an FE game with any of those things in it. So, clearly, we have reached an impasse. Especially when you consider how big of a flop Echoes was.

It has more staying power. Barely anyone talks about Awakening anymore. Fates is still a beloved modern classic.

Honestly, Fates was pretty much the perfect FE game, character and gameplay wise. (No one cares about the story of FE games, since they're all bad.) Valentia was a bland, waste of a game, with boring, lifeless characters and bad gameplay. If this game is even halfway identical to Fates was, I'll be content. Sweep that sales disaster known as Valentia under the rug, IS, please!

Companies rarely do this, though. I mean, if this was the case, they'd be just as likely to reveal Donald, due to his inadvertent reveal.

I hope that we get an in game explanation for why there's only Fates/Awakening characters in here. Like, Ike was told that the Blood Pact forced him to choose between killing his friends or himself, and, since Ike doesn't know how Blood Pact's work, he kills everyone, and then himself, when he was told that a new Blood Pact would force him to either die, or everyone else would die, leading him to commit Sudoku. Or the Valentia cast runs around the battlefield in a panic, as there's actual stuff in it, and they don't know how to fight on anything that isn't a wide, blank field. Stuff like that would make me hype. Extra brownie points if the Fates and Awakening cast laugh at them as this happens, maybe with a "LOOK AT THESE POOR SALES THEY HAVE HAHA!" thrown in, for good measure. Maybe this could be shown in the newest trailer? I hope it's gonna be shown, anyway.

I'd be inclined to agree with this sentiment, if EVERY MUSOU GAME EVER MADE DIDN'T DO THE SAME THING. Both the Gundam and Zelda Musou's only picked characters from 3 franchises and called it a day. The "too many swords" thing is legit, as the weapons triangle is in this.

I'm not really sure we can call TMS a bait and switch when IS didn't even know what the collaboration game was gonna be when that trailer was made.........

I'm glad that the roster is more focused. Now we can get good characters instead of making it into a MC fest.

Did you play Revelations? The point of the kidnapping wasn't to try to make Corrin into some weapon.
