  1. Who is the fourth? Michalis, Soren, Reinhardt, and? On my team, Peri would have left him with 1HP so I used my archer to chip him first. Maybe try something like that?
  2. My Hector has only inherited swap and didn't seem to have a problem. Funny story, I was doing some assist skills on Ike and Hector and ending up giving pivot to Ike and swap to Hector instead of the other way around ? Also, is it me or does this pose look incredibly unnatural and uncomfortable? His elbow is locked midswing. That would explain the facial expression...
  3. And here I was thinking I got better :( But I think you may be right. Hector seems to be basically a cheat code since I pulled him so I guess I'm not really getting better, just luckier. ?
  4. Got the 4 star on my first try :) Takumi, Hector, Peri, and Camilla. Heres the play-by-play. Lured the archer with Hector on his left most attack tile. Lloyd moved forward and the lance cavalier swapped with him. Immediately killed off the peg with Takumi. Had Camilla move to the spot on the water between the mountains. Enemy phase had Camilla get attacked by the mage, the cavalier was killed by Hector. Lloyd moved into range. Hit Lloyd with Takumi to chip him and moved in with Peri for the kill and then took care of the mage with Camilla.
  5. Hi everyone, so I've managed a lot of good pulls recently and now I just need some decent skill fodder. Before skill inheritance was a thing I had SIX Lon'Qu which became one bronze Lon'Qu with +5... *facepalm* Anyways, right now my main team is (all level 40, 5 star) Ike (+Atk/-Res), Hector (+Def/-Spd), Takumi (+Res/-Atk), and Nowi (+Spd/-Def), which I mainly picked because of their type spread, tier, and all of them have close counter/distant counter either built into their weapon or as a skill. Ike has inherited Fury 3 but hasn't learned it yet (not enough SP), and Nowi has learned Fury 3 also. Other than that they are just their normal skills. I can get builds off the Heroes wiki so skill sets aren't a problem, though some passive C advice would be greatly appreciated. The main concern I've seen is Res, or their lack of it I should say. A mage heavy team will usually sweep my team and even a single mage can occasionally take out 2 or 3 of mine before I can take care of them. Nowi has decent resistance (30). I have other 5 star units too and was wondering if any of these would be better: Azura (+Atk/-Res), Young Tiki (unkown IV), Leo (+HP/-Spd), Peri (+Atk/-Def), Spring Festival Chrom (+Atk/-Def), Camilla (+Def/-Spd), Nino (+Spd/-Atk), Spring Festival Camilla (Neutral), Sakura (+HP/-Spd), Alfonse, Lachesis (+Spd/-Atk), and Chrom (+Spd/-Res) and who they would replace. I guess I should throw good skills on the team as it sits before making any judgements, but the 2 most likely to be taken out early are the heavy hitters Ike and Hector.
  6. Oh okay, I saw that a lot of people were using Narcian but I had Camilla so I didn't bother. But she can't KO the peg when attacked and then Michalis picks her off. For what it's worth I've been doing lunatic by positioning my units on the right and going up through that corridor to avoid being swarmed on two sides going left or up the middle with a flyer.
  7. Then I'm off to training tower then! Thanks for the suggestion. ^_^ How did you all deal with the drag back skills from the pegs?
  8. Wow I'm getting slaughtered out here. Honestly I'm not that good but I think my units are pretty good. I have been hoarding for skills. Though I merged a few characters before I found out about inherit skill being added. I've been trying to train units that would give me one of every move/weapon type combination though I'm missing a few combinations (that's why some are favorited). I'll try to attach some screen shots for some suggestions though. My units tend to be frail and are killed the first turn the opponent attacks. I got the 3* so I'm not that worried about it.
  9. Thanks, will try that. I was worried bringing too many level 20 units would get the NPCs killed when they attack before turning neutral. Things didn't get too out of hand until the Peg Knights showed up while Klain was still in the southern half of the central alley and I was still fighting the Brigands in the northwest.
  10. Having trouble getting everything done with this map (there is A LOT to do). Can't seem to find any guides online (tbh I only checked YouTube and GameFAQs from a google search) on how to efficiently recruit all three characters, keep the necessary NPC's alive, and hit the villages. Spammed the arena on Chapter 7 and my roster looks like this: These units are level 20: Jerrot, Rutger (promoted), Roy, Wade, Sue, Noah, Shanna, Clarine, Chad, Lugh, Lot, Bors, Saul, Wolt, Treck I've been trying to use the other units instead who are: Elen (12), Dorothy (5), Lance (11), Astore (12), Lilina (11), Wendy (4), Barth (10), Ogier (8), Shin (7), Fir (1), Marcus (3) The team I've been taking to 10B is: Roy, Dorothy, Lance, Astore, Lilina, Wendy, Barth, Ogier, Shin, Fir, Wade I was thinking of bringing Lot and Shanna instead of Astore and Barth. I also have an unused Knight Crest (Saving for the Knights because the GBA Kinght/General animations are my all time favorites), Elysian Whip, and Guiding Ring. I didn't know if the Secret Shops had unlimited inventory or if I was limited to 1 each so I've been saving them. Also, I have 434229 Gold. I should have taken a screenshot of the Chapter 7 status screen before seizing the throne XD Now I do have a save state from Level 9 so I could always go back and pick the other village, which might be better anyways for the extra arena to spam the rest of the army to 20 as well, just for fun. I forgot that the villages determine the split route and went with the one my unit was closest to :(
  11. Got my decks Monday, it seems like a pretty simple game to learn. I like how it actually gives you a decent amount of promoted units. Pokemon decks are always really stingy about giving any good cards.
  12. I guess the obvious answer would be any of them given that they're called starter decks for a reason, but which two would be the simplest to learn to play with? Narrowing them down to the games/characters I'm most familiar with I was looking at the Binding Blade, Path of Radiance, White Night, and Geneology of the Holy War decks. I was going to get two so that if my friends/girlfriend wanted to play I'd have two decks. Any input would be appreciated! :) I also thought about buying a booster box, so preferably the two decks would share a booster set. I noticed that Series 5 and 7 would share cards with two of the above decks.
  13. Hi, I'm DerbyCityGinger, you might see me in the FE Heroes arena as 502Ginger because of character limits. Anyways, I've lurked on this site since like 2008 or so when I binge out on FE for months at a time. Lately it hit me hard again and I thought, "why not join the forum?" So here I am. I've finished Path of Radiance, Fates Birthright, and I've played several hours of Geneology of the Holy War (which is probably my favorite title of a video game haha), the Binding Blade, the Sacred Stones, Radiant Dawn, and Conquest. Currently the games I'm playing when I have time between studies and work are FE4, FE6, and Conquest. Oh, and Heroes. Hopefully I can finish Conquest and then Revelation before Echoes comes out but probably not because I end up switching between games a lot. I used to have an old patch for FE4 and when I started lurking again a few weeks ago I stumbled upon the Project Naga patch and it blew me away! I would even say its better than an official NoA localization would have been. I was also shocked to find a new TCG as well, so there's something else to spend money on. In fact the main reason I signed up was for some advice on that, so that's where I'm headed next. It's hard for me to pick a favorite FE game, though right now I'd say the Binding Blade, and I really couldn't say why. I would imagine one reason would be the animation the knights and generals have when they attack, I've always like that about the GBA games. I liked the character development in Path of Radiance, though really the only thing I remember about that was turning Rolf from a wimp into a awesome sniper. Reminds me of Wally from the Pokemon series. I've rambled enough I think.
