Thanks for the link. That looks seriously helpful! When I refer to "Beta Kyle and Forde", I mean the portraits that were designed for the beta version of sacred stones (they have a bunch of beta portraits, give it a look if you have time). it is my understanding that they do not have facial animations. I actually quite like them, and wanted to try and use them for something. But, I don't know how to make the images required for the mouths and eyes to move.

Just wondering if anyone had created animated versions of the Beta portraits for Kyle and Forde. Also, is there another site that is the preferred site for animations, portraits, sprites, and all that more graphic oriented stuff?

Thanks for the quick replies. Do you know of any tutorials for FE8 hacking? I'm using Blazers ultimate guide (which is freaking amazing), but I'd need to have things like the event ID's for FE8, things that are unique that I'd have no way of being able to figure out myself. Actually, just any FE8 tutorials at all would be super helpful.

Personally, I much preferred FE8 to FE7. When I started trying to learn to hack, I noticed most of the tutorials are for FE7; it also seems that FE7 is just much easier to hack than FE8. My question is this: what are the main differences between FE7 and FE8 hacking, and can I use the principles I'm learning for FE7 to hack FE8? Or are they just too different?

First time poster, long time lurker here. I've had some free time lately, and have finally decided to learn the basics of FE hacking. I've been watching a bunch of tutorial videos, read bits of the ultimate guide (hail blazer), etc. My problem is that the main video series I've been using (The workshop series by Ghast) heavily uses Eventiel. I've tried to load that site about 50 times on 4 different browsers, but every time the interface will just not load correctly. My preliminary (and uneducated) investigation has lead me to believe that it may be related to files that have been taken off dropbox, but I honestly have no idea. Is it no longer working? I know the host site is pretty dead, but does that extend to Eventiel? As FE8 is my preferred game, I wanted to start by hacking that (I've since decided to pace myself and learn FE7 first as FE8 looks like a nightmare). I looked at the FE8 Eventiel, but that seems to be incomplete and not quite working either. SO my question is this: IS eventiel, in FE8 or FE7 form, still working? If not, what alternative programs would you recommend? Thanks to anyone who replies; getting started has already given me a major headache....
