for ppl who're worried about these growths being low, there was a point where boucheron gained 2 HP from a level up so it seems classes have higher growth rates than normal. Also Jean's seems like it's before his skill applies so he'll most likely have a high bst when incorporating it and class growths

As other have said, I don't mind a simple story or tropey characters as long as they're written well. Echoes is a good example of a basic story but has one of the best writing in the series imo, if we get that I'll be more than happy. As long as it's not bad I will be fine with it, I just want a break from three houses lol. Nintendo should just let 8-4 localize fire emblem games cause they do a much better job at writing than tree house.

Gameplay- Obviously the best part about engage, no reason to doubt it Story- It is a lil basic but I really appreciate it after three houses and fates. I want something simple after the clusterfuck that is three houses. Hopefully it's similar to echoes in that it's still written well even if it's a simple story Characters- From what I've seen, reviewers have said that a character has a trope but supports definitely expand on em a bunch, a reviewer gave the example that Anna is a kid in this game, who still acts like older Annas but has left her family to be a merchant at a younger age so she misses her family. I like that! And I hope there's more of it

Yeah but why didn't it get released at the same time? It could've helped with the people that legitimately thought the gacha was gonna ruin the game (among all the other things people try to bring up to hate on the game)

My thing is that they'd have to do a direct in japanese too if we get one, but they've already revealed a bunch of stuff at that side. I guess they could do a recap with everything but I don't see that happening considering the "my first fire emblem" trailer was basically that, I think I'd be satisfied with an official translation by NoA for that trailer though I wish they'd done more. It doesn't help that there's this impression of engage being "console feh" (which annoys the fuck out of me) purely cause NoA has done so poorly in terms of marketing the game right.
