  1. Spoiler

ephraim and l'arachel (fire emblem and fire emblem: seima no kouseki) drawn by noshima

Ephraim figures that if L'Arachel has her shoulders shown, then he can can show her his.

(I really hope that L'Arachel gets included in the game. A+ if she is a red horse mage, if not will take it as a healer).

    Spoiler

eliwood and ninian (fire emblem and fire emblem: rekka no ken)

Beauty is really on the eye of the beholder.

I think what they are afraid of is that by adding a generic weapon with inherent Distant Counter you are invalidating Distant Counter itself (in theory). But when it's locked to a single unit that's absurdly rare I don't think there is much to worry about it. If balance is an issue it would likely have a few points less MT than a standard weapon. If a Silver Axe+ is 15 MT then a Hatchet+ should be around 11-12. Not to mention you'd still be rolling specifically for Ross.

I am not a fan of distant counter/ close counter as they upset the balance of attacking from the units weak range. Hector is a big pushover without his distant counter. My biggest problem with counter skills is when it is paired with vantage. Since it is easy to get into a situation were the counter skill unit will always kill all of your units if they have to attack afterwards.

I can't wait to try out the vantage nullifier badge.

  3. Thats were my Ninian went today!

The Ninian at the top is +spd/-res, which is my ideal boon/bane for her. Fae is neutral, and Nowi is + spd/-def

I wasn't paying attention and pulled from the Norian Summer banner. I got a neutral S! Leo. Hero fest is cursed.

By the way, is killer tomato any good?

  4. I would say I need a strong axe first. I have a Raven, Michalis, @Legion! Narcian, I don't remember the boon for Raven but I am sure they it is not bad.

SF website is not clear on the different stories other than you can't ally with the other side.

    Spoiler

I can only imagine it is the Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition!:D:

I have never played it before so I want to check it out. Looking at the character list, I am appalled at what S! Xander is doing with his inflatable toy.

  5. I have done 25 pulls on the hero fest banner, I have yet to get any 5 star unit. I am at 6.25%. I did get my first vvonderfvl vvoman, so thats nice. I guess that is just balance after getting a 5* attk-/res+ S! Corrin, another 5* Roy, and a 5* Clair back to back.

It would be nice to get through just one day in the Heroes board without hearing something about boobs, sex appeal, muscles, or anything like that.

So what are we going to talk about then? About unit x deserves to be in rather than unit y? How IS takes a drink/puff when putting unit stats? How horse emblem is broken?

Interestingly enough, the United States does not actually have an official language.

It gets more interesting once you add Puerto Rico, Hawaii, New Mexico, all of the indigenous tribes, and the pacific Islands territories like Guam in to the mix. It is unreasonable to ask them to replace the oficial or historic language with a new official one. Good luck getting Spanish civil law into English.

And why bother teaching phonetics? Coding, business, and sciences are the real thing the American educational system needs more of! Followed by history and civics. If you much else to say on this matter, bring it to Serious Discussion, I won't because I don't know much more.

I have to disagree there. When you learn phonetics and the meaning of words, you learn the history of the people who spoke it. Why is John Lackland called that? Because he did not have any land! (Rimshot). Political leaders and movements change the words we use. Now we can say "bigly".

So does anyone know how to pronounce Falchion?

English is a language that lures other languages into a dark ally, beats them up, and digs through their pockets for loose vocabulary and grammar.

No, you have it backwards; English is the language that gets beat up to a pulp by Romans, Viking, and the French. Old english spellings matched its' pronunciation, but once middle english came they had the GREAT VOWEL SHIFT and everything went nuts.
