Yeah, when I first thought about it I figured it wouldn't be changed, but when you look at all the pieces... I'm still gonna regard the characters as having their canon Japanese ages, so it's whatever imo.

You have a good point; Echoes is also being localized by the same team that decided Tharja's Beach Scramble CG was too scandalous, so when you take that plus Nintendo's track record into account it seems pretty likely the age requirement will be changed.

Part of me is hoping the English version gets leaked early too so I can find out the changes early lol

It depends on the country; some European countries have a drinking age of 18, others 16, some don't even have drinking ages at all. Australia's is 18.
