  1. Figures this happens during the 4 green banner ... I was hoping they'd make him an armored unit like his enemy unit in Engage, infantry isn't a dealbreaker, but fallen Ike being potentially due for an update soon make this less exciting I'm oddly suspicious that he tanked what he did, and the relatively low amount of text on his weapon, although i guess they added it to his special instead ...
  2. Don’t want to pass up the arcane staff, and she has a nice special too.
  3. For emblems, if you have multiple Marths for example, could you have an equal number of Emblem bonds to other characters
  4. I never thought Alphonse would win. Despite not liking Engage, I’m surprised they didn’t get a single placing.
  5. I actually missed voting a few days due to boredom, and distracted by bad weather Votes went to Gunninugap, Ranulf, Felicia, Lute, and I gave Brom a vote because I remembered someone here is a fan.
  6. Second vote to Ranulf, probably around the 5th day I’ll give some people my votes, still in the comfortable position where most of the characters who I like and could win already did.
  7. Gave my first vote to Ginungugap, Felicia Lute Ranulf are planned votes, others I'll decide later. I didn't really have any favorites in Engage so I doubt I'll give them any votes
  8. Renault Denning Kishuna Valtome (some attempt at 3/14 archer) Charlot (or any berserk staff user) Shade
  9. so did they remove all of the arcane weapon holders? Green is most likely, then colorless, then red
  10. Guess this is what I expected, I’ll be dedicating orbs to Christmas banner, just has more skills that I like.
  11. The amount of preattack damage is starting to concern me, don’t mind the unit, Camilla meets the criteria, and waited a long time at that.
  12. I'll likely pull, Yunaka, has a lot of the effects I'd want to give Clarisse, Kempf, and Kronya, and Valentine's Ike could make good use of Edelgard's special I also love the stuffies on Byleth's special
  13. while others might have hated one three houses lord getting an extra unit of the others, this is the counterpoint to why that may not be the worst thing
  14. I would get a good chuckle if our new deer OC was introduced as a reindeer, guess we'll see tomorrow whose silhouette that is
  15. Purple lady does seem to be wrapped up as if in a cast or bandages which makes her seem more like a patient that a doctor a horn is better than any medical instrument i can think of I hope Ratatoskr's triple agent stint introduces us to everyone soon
  16. I’m completely stumped by the purple haired girl, is she a mouse or cat, what is in her hand. The man appears to be deer, and there is a reference to 4 deer being tied to ygdrasil, and he has that familiar face mask to fit in with medical theme.
  17. on second look, it appears Ratatoskr was more ambushed than clumsy on the tree, as for jumping through stained glass, not sure. Looks like the place she tripped and the place she fell were the same places her counterparts showed up. I could also see the double headed snake as a stethoscope reference if you squint hard enough.
  18. Ratatoskr looks like an old fashioned nurse, old fashioned enough that maid is part of her job. Hraesvelger seems focused on surgical tools, maybe more an the examination side. I imagine Nidhoggr fills a chemist role, but focusing on anything other than the painted on clothes is difficult.
  19. I expect Asgard as the chapter, first half we'll engage with enemies that were traditionally Loki's children in Norse mythology like Fenrir (Jormungandr if that wasn't used up last book), eventually they will be overshadowed by Loki or Alfathr (I can see Loki easily having some dues ex machina ready since book 2) I think Baldr will be our OC (likely a lady version)
  20. I’d be surprised if it wasn’t a character named Baldr, although perhaps Baldur’s Gate made that less likely. Baldr seems to be the biggest Norse figure I can think of not mentioned, and our weapons name is associated with him. But if it had to be a recurring character, I’d prefer Lif or Thrasir, they do have a revolt against the heavens arc going which would also be relevant if we’re going to Asgard.
  21. You'd do better explaining the italicized part, Njorthr was happy enough with the deaths of us mortal insects, and Gullvieg was a legend, something he's vaguely familiar with, there's no reason to assume Kvasir would lie. As a god Njorthr perhaps had a reason to assume he'd be above it all. I also believe that Gullveig hates Njorthr for setting her creation up, and that Gullveig is right when she says Seithr hates him for it too; but that's my own interpretation.
  22. why would Kvasir speak with Njorthr if he wasn't needed, and she didn't need to explain Gullveig, she was just letting him know now is the time to start baking why does Njorthr insist on creating who will become Heithr (the curse stops without Heithr, Seithr wouldn't be cursed from killing her, and it's through Heithr that he convinces us to get the Ar back)
  23. Calling Gullveig a chess master seems like calling a cake a chess master, a cake can’t create itself or manipulate a baker to make it. Like a baker, Njorthr knew what he was making, the ingredients, put them together, he got what he wanted, just underestimated the scope and how much it would hate him.
  24. But to murky the waters further, Kvasir survives or perhaps is moved to the near the end of the timeline, and says she never got around to performing the rite.
