  1. One idea you could use is to take the names of people or places and jumble up the letter to come up with a name or two. I once came up with name for a character just by rearranging my own name just for fun. turns out it ended up as actual name of person.
  2. I have no issues with these changes, though I never did kill off the noble, only wounded him. I also like how you made his recruitment unique. I suspect that his supports with Sparticus would be rather sharp refusals to fight in the arena once more. So here's his ending standard ending: Renzak, Shadowed by Trouble For a time, Renzak remained in Pyrathi and open up himself a small shop. However it soon became an issue when it was discovered that he sold illicit and pirated goods. He would soon flee Pyrathi with an unnamed woman across the eastern sea to lands unknown.
  3. First thing, I forgot to comment on the Serre Mercenary animation you added a few weeks ago. I reconize it from a Markyjoe rage-fest hack called Matthew's Nightmere. (been a few years since I've seen it and I think he's still has it on his youtube channel somewhere) Second, here is a character ending for Sarina: With the final battle won, Sarina quickly left the group as she found out someone put a bounty on her head. Though it is unknown where she had gone, a rumor of a group of female sellswords have recently over the port of Galder. Finally, I was looking at the Character info that's up so far and noticed the thief Virgin has mention that he may be related to Hyman. It would make sence if he and Sarina had a support that makes some lite of this information
  4. First, as I'm a little late for it, I also like the idea of supports. Second, I've noticed that my other suggestion, Renzak is not in the Google Doc. so I'm guessing he hasn't been implimented yet or not at all. (Hey it's your perogative)
  5. Looking at what you are planning, I have two ideas for other characters: Renzak A hunter and former arena gladiator from Knorda. He was son of a merchant, but his mother died when he was born. When he was young, Renzak gotten himself in trouble with a minor noble while working for his father. The noble had his father killed an took Renzak as child slave as punishment. He begged the noble a few years later to grant him a chance of freedom. The noble told him that if he won ten rounds of gladiatorial combat in a row, he would grant him his freedom. For seven years, Renzak, fought in the arena, with mixed results. But then one day, he had won ten fights in a row in one day. But the noble reneged on the offer and tried to have Renzak killed. However, Renzar turned the tables on the noble wounding him in the process, and escaped to Pyrathi. He's a little slower then an average hunter and his luck would be a bit shaky, but he's a bit bulkier then average. Sarina A mysterious black-haired 'cleric' who appired in Pyrathi shortly after the War of Shadows. Though she speaks meekly and courteously to others, her remarks seem snide and bitter. The fact that she travels alone where bandits often roam belie that there is something amiss with her. The one thing the many who meet her notice is that the Barrier staff she carries is in fact a Pure Sword . If one is perseptive enough, they could notice the faint accent of one who lived in the Samsooth Mountains. This is because she is, in truth, a Soothsire myrmidon who has worked with Julien and Rickard on jobs, dispite her dislike for Rickard. She was on one such job, posing as a cleric, when Marth lead his troops through the Samsooth Mountains, killing Reynard to reach Aurelis. She does not know that Julien betrayed the Soothsires to save Lena and currently resides in Macedon, believing he had perished. Her magic and Res growth is lower then it should be for a cleric, but she starts off with 2 points in Str and a bit more Hp as well.
  6. "You drink water?" Farnham from Diablo 1's Posion water supply quest
  7. Shading is better. a quick tip I can give you for hair is to zoom in as close as you can in whatever program you use and add darker or lighter spots in a similar curve that the part of the hair you're working on. go a pixel or two at a time until you feel it works.
  8. hmm.. it's not bad, but it might have too many colors as if I recall its a max of 16. you also might do a bit more shading under the hair above the eyes.
  9. Not going to lie, it take practice. If your new to splicing, start small. Work on one part at a time till it seems natural. Don't put everything together at once or it will end up looking like a bad rush job. I've done a quiet few splices, though I haven't posted them, so focus on one point at a time. Since the hair is bugging you playing around with the color to fix part that may be too light or too dark to get the balance just right. Don't forget that the shading will also affect the skin. One other note, taking an existing image and putting it into sprite form doesn't always work. You may have to make adjustments as you go.
  10. In all honesty, I've had a bit of a long creative break from making sprites. And after seeing the newer sprites that came out over the past 2 years has me feeling less motivation to do so. But I decided to give it one more go. Though it's nothing new, I went and revised my Hexer and Fortune Teller classes, the lather has been renamed the Mystic Class. For the Hexer, I tried make her look younger, while the Mystic I redid completely. I wish I had the time and skill to make full sprite sheets for them but sadly single non-motion sprites are the extent of my skills. Would be nice to get some feedback on the new look and whatnot.
  11. I'll give this a go: Poacher Wily hunters hired by many but trusted by only themselves. Certification: Sword: A, Axe: C, Bow: A, Brigand Mastered, Assassin Mastered Class Abilities: Bow Range +2, Defiant Res Base Stats: 34 HP, 10 Str, 6 Mag, 16 Dex, 16 Spd, 10 Lck, 9 Def, 15 Res, 1 Cha, 7 Mov Skill Boosts: Sword +3, Axe +2, , Bow+3 Growths: HP 15%, Str 15%, Dex 10%, Spd 10%, Def -5%, Res 15%, Cha 5% Mastery: Highway Man (if the enemy cannot counter-attack, enemy’s Strength and Speed -3 after the battle)
  12. Just to add to you fact, Vichy France's president, Philippe Pétain, wanted to keep France neutral. But Pierre Jean Marie Laval, his Vice president advocated to join the Nazis. Pétain forced Laval out, but Hitler made him reinstate him and later, both were arrested and taken to Germany and held till the end of the war. Though, both were tried for treason upon their return to France, ironiclly, Laval was executed by firing squad while Pétain was to spend the rest of his life in prison, on the orders of then president de Gaulle. (This was mainly due to his age) In the case presented here for Three Houses, TWSITD would quickly have filled the spot with someone else, who could have been hidden within the empire's forces or an advisor to one of the Co-belligerence forces, always to make sure that there was a fail safe to their plans.
  13. It's a bit of a joke. I first used Afterbrun as my user name for an old Warez site [for those who don't know, it's a site that you could download computer games that needed disc with 'crack' patches to play them] my brother used to have. (it's long dead by a good 15 years or so) He wanted me to find some good games for emulators like Znes and Viusalboy Advance. However at the time, I thought it was how to spell afterburn until he pointed it out. I stuck with it, for, irl, people misspell my last name constantly. Add the K.K. at a later date.
  14. The guy on the bottom, 2nd from the left looks odd. Might see it you can rework it. Also you might want to fix up the walls, they seem off and out of place.
