  1. I was trying to be conservative when making these units. Maybe I went a little 'too' conservative. I've been keeping up with the meta to an extent, but the last time I really created any units since the Brave Hero era, so I wasn't too aware of how stats have changed overtime since then when it comes to newer units. Thanks for the feedback anyways.

  3. I think that what most people don't consider is that (in my opinion), Fates was basically 2 games (excluding Revelations). Other than reusing assets, they were completely different beyond Chapter 6. I don't know how much that justifies it, but it's something to take into consideration. In all fairness, when it came to the earlier FE games, there weren't all that many memorable characters due to the lack of developed story/design. Compare that to Echoes which got a complete revamp on vastly superior hardware, it makes sense why some stand out more than others. I did forget to mention Minerva and Navarre, so that's something. Point being, creating a realistic roster that still manages to represent the entire franchise is unreasonable at best. There is simply too much to consider, whereas LOZ doesn't have a cast nearly as big.
  4. I want to create some alternates for some characters. The last time I did this was before the influx of new skills and such. Legendary Hero - Alm: Conqueror of Valentia Legendary Hero - Robin (Male) - Tactical Grandmaster Legendary "Hero" - Berkut - Rightful Ruler
  5. Honestly, clones could just be alternate costumes with different voices and it'd be fine. I still think that without having an unreasonably large roster, you can't accurately represent the FE series.
  6. This is less of a "Season 2" list and more of a "FE Warriors Deluxe" roster. I don't want to make another thread similar to this so here it is. Goals: More characters. Removing "filler characters" Optimizing the representation ratios. Fates: First of all, remove the following: Niles and Oboro. They're clones and hardly necessary either way. Replace them with: Selena, Laslow, and Odin* All of them would be unique characters rather than clones. Selena would be a bow knight wielding a bow while using a sword in her specials. Laslow would be an infantry axe user, while Odin is an infantry mage user who has erratic attacks. As a bonus, give them alternates that represent their awakening appearance. With these additions, Fates would have: Corrin, Azura, Xander, Ryoma, Takumi, Hinoka, Sakura, Leo, Camilla, Elise, Selena, Laslow, and Odin bringing the total to 13 Fates characters. Awakening: Cut Tharja and Owain. Despite being extremely popular, Tharja doesn't warrant a new slot. Owain is already represented as Odin. Replace them with: Nowi, Adult Tiki* and Sumia. Nowi would be a clone of Young Tiki. However, Young Tiki will be cut and Adult Tiki would have a unique moveset plus a young Tiki costume. Finally, Sumia would be a flier with a tome. With these additions, Awakening would have: Chrom, Robin, Lucina, Cordelia, Lissa, Frederick, Olivia, Nowi, A!Tiki, and Sumia bringing the total to 10 Awakening characters. Shadow Dragon: This will be simple. Tiki is now an Awakening representative making her the only SD "cut". As such, we will add: Jagen and Gordin Jagen is a cavalry lance user while Gordin is an infantry bow user with a unique moveset. SD would have: Marth, Caeda, Jagen, and Gordin bringing their total to 4. Gaiden/Echoes: We have Celica, so we'll add some others to keep her company. Alm, Lukas, Mae, and Berkut. Alm would be a unique infantry sword user, Lukas would be a unique infantry lance user, Mae is a unique tome user, while Berkut may share a moveset with Jagen. Their total is now 5. Others: Along with Lyn, we'll add Hector, Roy, Eliwood, Lilina, and Nino to represent the GBA games. The final additions would be Ike, Micaiah, Black Knight, Finn, Ayra, Lene, Ishatar, Eirika, and Eiphraim. In total, FE Warriors Deluxe/2 would have 47 characters (+ any # of original characters). I guess representing most of the series is harder than I thought.
  7. I've never tried putting characters from non-FE games into this, but I suppose Xenoblade Chronicles 2 would be a good fit. Rex - Unexpected Driver (Infantry, Sword) "A salvager who has dedicated himself to leading Pyra to Elysium. Wields the legendary Aegis, but is somewhat reckless and naive." 42/36/32/27/21 Weapon: Aegis (16 MT. Neutralizes "effective against" bonuses. Grants Atk+4 during combat when this unit is attacked.) Special: Anchor Shot - 5 Cooldown. Reduces damage inflicted by attacks from adjacent foes by 30%. Unit will counterattack with damage boosted by 15% of Unit's Def and heal by 15% of damage dealt. (Unit will always make counterattack no matter the range and cannot be affected by foe's skills,) Specials: Atk Def Bond, Drag Back, Spd Smoke Pyra - Flame of the Aegis (Infantry, Red Tome) "The legendary Aegis who aims to make it to Elysium. Is caring and compassionate until she switches to her alternate personality, Mythra." 31/34/38/21/29 Weapon: Burning Sword+ (16 MT. If unit has at least 3 more Atk than enemy at the start of combat, unit receives Spd/Res +3 during combat. Grants allies within 2 spaces +2 Atk/Res) Assist: Ardent Sacrifice New A Skill: Flame Core - Grants +2 HP/Atk/Spd. Skill cannot be inherited. Other Skills: Wings of Mercy, Atk Smoke Mythra - Light of the Aegis (Infantry, Green Tome) "The legendary Aegis who has a mysterious past going back 500 years. Has a bit of an attitude, but has unwavering dedication." 35/34/36/24/24 Weapon: Light Sword+ (16 MT. If unit initiates combat, unit granted Spd/Res+3 during battle. Grants allies within 2 spaces +Spd/Res) Special: Sol A Skill: Defiant Res New B Skill: Foresight - Unit counterattacks first with +3 Atk when attacked at HP ≤ 70%. Skill cannot be inherited. C Skill: Spur Atk I wouldn't be surprised if these characters a considered a bit "overpowered."
  8. 1. I began playing on February 5th, 2017. It was a good day. 2. At the time, I only knew of Fire Emblem through Smash Bros. I heard that a Nintendo Direct was announced in late January I believe, at I cared enough to watch it. Thus, I saw Nintendo's next mobile game. Since I played all of their Mobile games up until that point, I gave this one a try. That's why I'm a fan of everything-Fire Emblem today. 3. Currently, an iPhone 5c. I know, it's very old (with 5 GB of storage in total). Luckily, I'm getting a 7 Plus in December. 4. No. I've played several in the past. But I'd like to note that this is the first free-to-play game that I've consistently played. 5. Yes. 6. Yes. 7. Yes. 8. No. 9. No. 10. Usually, I'll at least do the initial difficulty and possibly move up one. However, I've never dared to attempt Infernal. 11. I don't go out of my way to do them, but I still end of completing most of them anyways. 12. I'm not quite sure, but I'd actually go with the first two banners that the game released with. Considering how many free orbs the game gave you through logging in and such, plus the fact that I completed the main story on Normal and Hard within like a week. That meant a lot of orbs. 13. Probably blue. Many of my favorite units are of that color. 14. Most likely Barst or Odin. 15. Camilla from the Deep Devotion banner. I still have her, but never use her. 16. Probably Summer Robin. After much dedication, I finally pulled her only using free orbs. 17. Generally, no. I'd use a unit regardless of natures. However, as of late, I do check the natures, even if it doesn't make a difference for me. 18. Clarine. I used to think staff users were useful. 19. Excluding limited-time units, they'd have to be Sonya, Kagero, and Alm. 20. Berkut. I feel that he's very underrated and has the potential to be great with the right skills. 21. As of recently, it would be Brave Roy, Performing Arts Azura, Brave Lyn, and Berkut/Mae/Tailtiu. The last three could be swapped out for each other at any given moment. 22. Probably Anna, because I like that she isn't just the typical merchant (not that she doesn't have some of those qualities), and that she's the only one of the Askr trio that I've bothered to get to 5 star. 23. I love the variety of characters, the joy of actually having a character, and the fun that is making a build for a character. 24. I wish the game had more competitive aspects than just Arena. I dislike how some characters are fundamentally better than others. Lastly, the poorly made summoning pools for 5/4 star rarities. 25. It's pretty good. Though I wished the maps used in Arena had more variety. 26. Very good. While getting certain skills to inherit can be a pain at times, it's still fun to mix-and-match combinations of skills. 27. While the concepts are great, it bothers me that they are usually exclusive to that banner. I get that it's a way to make money easily, but it bothers me that I may never have a chance to pull for the unit again (at least for the span of 1 year, since some would probably be recycled in the following year). 28. I use to spend them as soon as I had enough to summon. But now I try to save up in preparation of certain banners... But I usually end up spending them sooner than I should have. 29. I've never run out of stamina. Though since I mostly free-to-play, there have been times where I couldn't summon for a few days due to the lack of free orbs. But the game is already generous enough with those, so I can't complain. 30. Yes. Probably anywhere from $12-20 every 1-2 months. Other than that, I mostly rely on free orbs. 31. Unless if they have orbs as a reward, no. 32. I would... If I had the luck to summon more than one of a unit. 33. I participate, but only for feathers. Even then, I only do maybe 3 battles per day of the Gauntlet. 34. Whenever, I get a new unit, I throw whatever decent skills I have on hand to them. Though, that's just a placeholder. If it doesn't really make a difference, I'll swap it for a useful skill later on. 35. No. Normally I stop around the 4 star unit reward. But as of the recent TT, I'm willing to go up to the 5 star unit reward assuming I have bonus units. 36. I'm currently in a weird limbo between Rank 17 and 18. I can get to 18, but not stay in 18. Usually, I do enough to rank up to 18, wait a week to drop to 17, then repeat. 37. To train my units... Duh. 38. Possibly the special system where you activate after making a certain number of actions, but the requirement would have to be amplified for a main FE game. 39. By mobile game standards, a 10. Unlike most other free-to-play games, you don't have to spend money to enjoy it. 40. Yeah. Nintendo actually makes good mobile games.
  9. A completely random idea of mine, but considering we've had a gauntlet that categorized heroes based off of their hair, this shouldn't be too out there. Voting Gauntlet: Cheerful (Female) Mages Vs. Serious (Male) Horsemen Cheerful Mages: Nino, Mae, Lilina, Tailtiu Serious Horsemen: Berkut, Leo, Gunter, Xander My vote would probably go to Berkut (because he's an actual well-developed charatcer) or Leo (because I feel sorry for his previous losses). Mae wouldn't be so bad either.
  10. I'm too tired to be hyped for everything that was announced... That's what tomorrows for. Time to start saving orbs for the huge summoning event on the 27th.
  11. It could be better, but the game isn't broken by the unbalanced aspects. I see it like a cycle. A strong character is introduced which outclasses previous units, thus making them pointless (unless if you're willing to do some major investing). Then another character of a similar vein is introduced which overthrows the previous. The cycle continues. Older characters don't always become completely outclassed, just not as preferred. Here's an example: Every Archer But Takumi During Base Game - Takumi was obviously the best, but some of the archers still found some usage. But honestly, if you had a Takumi, you wouldn't need anything else. Takumi and Klein (To an Extent) - Both of these units were better than the other archers by a considerable margin at this point. Klein had an amazing kit out of the box and Takumi had Close Counter. But then... Bride Cordelia - Many say that Bride Lyn redefined the meta. That is only true to an extent. By herself, she was pretty good. However, what actually redefined the meta was Skill Inheritance (which started making a difference with units like B!Cordelia). By taking Life and Death plus Brave Bow+ and slapping it onto B!Cordelia, you created a monster. With that, Takumi fell into the void of irrelevance... Brave Lyn - Then Brave Lyn came out of nowhere. Unlike B!Cordelia who relied on Skill Inheritance to make a difference, B!Lyn was amazing with her standard kit. Somehow, a unit in their base form outclassed a unit that became amazing through using aspects of other units. It didn't help that everybody had a chance at getting Brave Lyn. In theory, it is only a matter of time until another unit outclasses B!Lyn (if that is possible). While even units from the base game are "usable", they require much more attention than other units. Plus, since we have top-tier units that require specific units/builds to defeat, an endless cycle is created. A unit is introduced. The meta forms around said unit/another unit outclasses it. IS has been doing a decent job at not completely destroying the balance (since any unit is theoretically able to defeat any unit), but it will get to a point where it must be addressed.
  12. As much as I wanted ToD! Nowi, I'm afraid that I've given up. After purposely NOT pulling for greens/grey in order to have a better chance at not pulling a 5* Focus of that variety, my latest summon didn't have a red orb forcing me to pull a grey... Which gave me ToD! Jakob. Considering that it broke my pity rate, I've given up on this banner and want to move on to the Death Blow banner. But at least I got my 2nd favorite unit from the ToD banner. Beggars can't be choosers I suppose. Now I just have to try pulling for a Delthea and fail.
  13. It's safe to say that we'll be getting a Warriors banner sometime, so here's my idea for it: New Heroes: Warriors of Aytolis Rowan - Brash Prince (Infantry, Sword) "The prince of Aytolis who is the brother of Lianna. He is often reckless in his actions and often clashes with his sister, but he is dedicated to becoming a knight nevertheless." 43/33/32/28/21 Weapon: Enliron (16 MT. If unit is attacked by foe using sword, axe, lance, or dragonstone, unit receives Def/Res+4 during combat.) Special: Draconic Aura Specials: Defiant Atk, Brash Assault Lianna - Cautious Princess (Infantry, Sword) "The princess of Aytolis who is the sister of Rowan. When compared to her brother, she is careful with her actions but would rather not take up the throne, instead wanting her brother to take it." 39/30/36/21/31 Weapon: Facinna (16 MT. If unit is attacked by foe using bow, daggers, magic, or staff, unit receives Def/Res+4 during combat.) Assist: Reposition Skills: Cancel Affinity, Breath of Life Darios - Warding Prince (Infantry, Sword) "A close friend of Rowan and Lianna who was tasked with protecting them by Queen Yelena. Though he left and betrayed his own kingdom, he is loyal to Aytolis and fights to save it." 45/31/27/30/24 Weapon: Risyl (14 MT. Neutralizes "effective against" bonuses.) Special: Astra Skills: Guard, Savage Blow I would have liked to not just have sword units, but I literally only had three characters to pick from. It also didn't help that there isn't much information to go off of when it comes to these characters since they're from a Warriors game.
  14. Let's make some Holiday units! For now, I'll focus on Fates. Felicia - Holiday Helper (Infantry, Green Tome) "One of Corrin's retainers who is skilled in combat, but less-than impressive with her maid duties. Was put in charge of assisting others with preparing their gifts, but usually ends up wrapping herself up instead." 28/31/36/18/34 Weapon: Present Tome+ (12 MT. Grants Res+2 during combat when this unit is attacked. Slows Special trigger (cooldown count+1). Adds total bonuses on unit to damage dealt.) Special: Moonbow Skills: Pass, Panic Ploy Xander - Gifting Presence (Cavalry, Bow) "Eldest prince of Nohr who would do anything for his family. Aims to bring happiness to all of Nohr by using his horse as a reindeer while delivering presents in the night." 41/35/23/28/21 Weapon: Decorative Bow+ (13 MT. Enables unit whose own HP is ≤ 50% to warp adjacent to any ally.) Assist: Swap Skills: Attack Def, Spur Def Res Elise - Cheerfully Sweet (Cavalry, Lance) "Youngest princess of Nohr who lightens up any conversation with her innocent demeanor. Spreads the holiday spirit by giving gifts to others, no matter who they are." 33/34/36/20/31 Weapon: Candy Cane Lance+ (12 MT. If unit is attacked by foe using bow, daggers, magic, or staff, unit receives Def/Res+4 during combat.) Assist: Swap Skills: Cancel Affinity, Hone Atk Kagero - Festively Fierce (Infantry, Blue Tome) "A ninja of Hoshido who is more than capable of battling, but also likes to paint pictures. Was put in charge of decorating for the holiday, but others don't seem to understand her decorative taste." 34/35/36/19/25 Weapon: Aurora Tome+ (13 MT. After combat, foe suffers Atk/Res-3 through its next action.) Special: Luna A Skill: Mirror Strike New C Skill - Aurora Pulse: Grants +4 Spd/Res at start of turn 1 for any Infantry allies with at least 1 more HP than unit. (Effects will stack with similar skills.) Takumi - Festively Resistant (Infantry, Red Tome) "Youngest prince of Hoshido who is focused on becoming strong to a fault. Says that he had a dream where three ghosts visited him and told him about his past, present, and future. Nobody believes him." 37/35/33/25/17 Weapon: Light Tome+ (12 MT. If unit initiates attack, foes within 2 spaces of target take 5 damage after combat.) Assist: Shove Skills: Guard, Spd Ploy Leo - Cold-Hearted Celebrator (Cavalry, Sword) "Youngest prince of Nohr who is competitive at everything he does. Even though tomatoes don't grow during winter, he still enjoys the season since it's always cold." 34/35/26/22/34 Weapon: Leo's Iceblade+ (14 MT. If unit's Res is equal to or greater than foe's Res, unit attacks twice when initiating attack.) Special: Glacies Skills: Defiant Atk, Atk Smoke
  15. I think that I summoned Mae and Summer Leo on my first pull on their respective banners. I believe that I got Clair on the first day of her respective banner as well.
