  1. DLC has been some good fanservice or just virtually pointless. I can't say that I've been disappointed by any of the DLC from the 3DS games so I'm pretty okay with anything they'll do. I would like to see more classes and weapons as dlc though, and maybe let the amiibo characters be bought by people who don't have them.
  2. I have enough salt to bury nations. That's all the input I have. I was happy with a good bit of the direct, but I only wanted one thing...
  3. I just need something. Anything.
  4. Inb4 we still see nothing though
  5. A direct for tomorrow was announced. There is only one thing I want to see. Please Nintendo?
  6. Ugh, I wouldn't like characters like that, but I definitely expect some of their tropes. I just have a bit more faith in their development of this game. I got a good feeling, and I can't explain it. I'm iffy about dlc. If it's things like fleshing out the world some more (Only justifiable if the world is satisfying in the base), the Cipher characters, or some bonus classes and skills, I'd be okay with it.
  7. I come check this thread everyday to see if something juicy or at least fun has been leaked, but I find some relief in the frustration. It leads me to think that the reason they are taking this long, is because they are waiting to have the best version of the game possible to finally show the fans.
  8. If it's a book I am interested in or a series I like, definitely physical. Feels nice, easy to read, and is good to display on a bookshelf. Plus you can lend them to friends when they want to read! However, if it's a required book for a class, I would definitely go digital as it tends to be the cheapest.
  9. They all look so fantastic! I'm so happy and excited! Going to definitely spend all the orbs I've saved! It's a nice surprise to see Eirika comeback though, especially with Gleipnir of all possibilities. Ah well, she seems great and this gives me hope that we see other units get the same treatment outside of voting and what not!
  10. I'm expecting at least 1 minute 30 second trailer, and then for them to talk about gameplay changes and amiibo functionality, followed by an imminent amiibo announcement. (Quite frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if they announced their DLC outright too. I don't have a problem with it since it has never been content in the main game, but they'll probably want to get the backlash out of the way asap) Best thing I can hope/expect is a spring world wide release, comfortable and reasonable priced dlc, and 2 amiibo; That's probably asking for too much though.
  11. I'd be a lot happier if the pandering junk from Fates was gone. I didn't mind a lot of My Castle, but remove the Lilith Feeder, Hot Springs, and face stuff in the My Room. I don't want the amiibo implementation from Echoes to return, that was much fun and it felt cheap. I doubt it will ever return, but I don't want split games again. Can't think of anything else right now.
  12. The dream is a surprise first quarter 2018 worldwide drop in March, but the reality I'm expecting is FE16 to come out in the first half of 2018. Odds are we see a trailer next month, a date for the Japanese release, and the Western release coming a month (at the least) after. A worldwide release would be phenomenal though.
  13. I'm so unbelievably excited for MM11! I just lost my mind watching the stream during class! (Not vocally of course) And I'm super happy about of MM and MMX making it's way to the Switch! I can finally experience these beautiful pieces of work that I've watched countless times. My first and only Megaman had been Star Force, but that's going to change next year. I'm so so SO DAMN EXCITED FOR ALL OF THIS! MM11 looks really pretty, and they've got one of my favorite artists on board so I'm satisfied with the style they're using. (Fingers crossed they release an artbook after)
  14. Is it cheap to be able to pick a secondary weapon? If recruitable avatars returned, that'd quite the hell of a boon. It would also be hell in pvp matches. Anyway, I immediately picked bow as my primary, and dark magic as my secondary. (I would've picked hidden weapons with bow as secondary, but we are unaware if they'll return.)
  15. I'm 100% on board with them returning. I would love if they became reoccurring playable units. I would appreciate if they had supports with each member of their group with the lord(s) of the game. I ADORED THEM IN ECHOES, buuuuut they only had one support with minor stat support from the others. (I wouldn't mind if they were constantly just DLC characters, but I'm sure a lot of folks would complain.)
  16. I'm super excited now. ESPECIALLY AT THE MENTION OF ROGUE AND GRIFFINS, LIKE HOLY WOAH! January can't come soon enough. I need that proof with a juicy long indepth trailer. (I imagine it'll be a 1st half 2018 release, so a long trailer would feel nice to me.)
  17. I'd like it to be like how it was in Fates. I enjoyed buying replicas of their weapons and getting accessories based on their games. The unique classes and artwork is a nice touch too. (In fact, I especially loved getting seals to become their classes, even if it was only in dlc. So I really hope that's a thing again.) Having supports would be nice, the only two that would stand out are Ike and Roy, but that could be figured out. Supports aren't a necessity though. I honestly feel like it's alright to do it how Fates did for the time being, but as more games come, it'll be need to toned down a lot.
  18. I like referring to Alm's blade as the Kingsfang more than the Falchion. Hell, I wish that they just kept using the name they gave it. It would make it feel more unique. As for the Falchion for Marth/Chrom, no. I would like something brand new. That goes for every game in the future unless it's a remake, sequel, or prequel to that continuity.
  19. Fair enough, I honestly would be super stoked to see all that kind of stuff implemented into a game. Oooh alright, that makes more sense. That would be neat to see a bunch of units colliding against a knight/general. Like rain drops on a window. That would be very nice for those that don't use animations.
  20. Everything sounds very dynamic and beautiful, but a lot of it too ambitious, especially for IS. Using the environment as you suggest would take a lot of time to do, but I like where you're going with this. There could be unique animations for hiding behind barriers and utilizing ballistae/magic orbs. When units fight in the woods, maybe they could actually act as if they were fighting in dense brush, like cutting bushes and foliage. The different fighting depending on an opponent would be fantastic, but that's also a lot to do. Maybe just generalized reactions to classes and have the units be more expressive of that. It would tone down dev time, but still give that kick to battles. I know I'd be nervous if a wyvern rider with a large axe came swooping towards me, so it would be neat to see units express emotions in battle. I adore your idea for multiple victory animations and fighting styles. I really enjoyed those aspects in Echoes, and they should be expanded upon. Giving folks more unique swings, casting, throwing, and dodging would make such a HUGE difference. The situational victories would be interesting, but I don't know about continuous fighting. Cause what if, for some reason, all the enemies have a different strategy than you expect? I like the zoom outs for individual units, buuuuuuuuut as a quality of lore kinda thing. I would like a zoom for level bosses/minibosses for whenever you skip the enemy phase. I'm always sad when I miss that bit of dialogue because their leader took a shot I wasn't expecting yet. The permanent effects, I completely 200%, 10 outta 10, GOTY, 5 stars aggree with. Like the situation with blood, it'll just make it feel more real. And more immersion can't be a bad thing. (Unless it's too much immersion)
  21. Lethality would like to disagree Yeah, having the blood be option would be pretty nice. My only issue with that; Will they really be splatters, or are the more likely to be splotches of red? If that game is rated T than that gives me some hope, but has there ever been blood in a Fire Emblem game?
  22. Sounds like a good idea. It would've been a shame if the good ideas the leak made were never used. You've got my support!
  23. I love all of this, and I really want IS to do that level of unit variety. It would make the enemy feel alive and like an actual army. Something like that would make me want unit capture to return. Country variations in armor would be absolutely PHENOMENAL OH MY GOD. (I would kill to see blood.) Blood would be pretty intense. Give the battles depth and reality. Maybe add sparks to that equation for when blocking with shields or weapons. As much as I'd like it, would it boost the rating to M?
  24. My professor had given us a paper with commands like that so we'd be able to type out French words. I lost it, but I remembered a good bit of them.
