  1. “It's not that they won't be able to find us. It's just that where we are at the moment is a horrible place to take a stand. We have no defences set up and it wouldn't be too hard for the masked to surround us again like they did before. While I would like to take out the runners, for my own peace of mind it's not a good idea to split up and chase them. If the masked do track us we should find some sort of refuge first, some kind of ruin or natural barricade. Anyhow as we are now there's just five of us here that are any good in a fight, sorry Charlie, and only four of us who can use weapons. There's potentially dozens of masked in whatever base they have. The farther away we get the more they have to spread there forces searching for us, which makes it less likely for us to have to face another battle from all sides. If you don't like the idea of running away, think of it more as luring them into our own ambush. We can split them up and crush them."
  2. Ruben, the absolotely cursed image has made me do the captcha 3 times from my ipad and tben wont let me post from it anyway so im making this post from my phone and ill try to post from the ipad later.
  3. “It probably isn't the best idea to split the group up like that, since those up us who don't give chase would still have to wait here for the chasers to return before we set off. Not to mention that it could still be an ambush. Charlie has the right idea that we need to get out of here quickly. We should probably just look for that woman Toki mentioned, pack up the tents and get out of here"
  4. This should probably go in fftf, if anywhere on the forum at all. I like the word Illuminate personally.
  5. Will do. Uh, starting now. (Really wish that SF would let you put a whole post in a spoiler box after you've written it.)
  6. His life just jumped off a Clifford I'm out of practice sheesh that was weak (like him) Also Ruebhen is super evil now, neat.
  7. “A... button was it? Well, that's one mystery solved then." “Still, something about those masked is bothering me. They were too great in number and too well organised to simply be wandering masked. Not just that but the survivors took off in the same direction. Perhaps they have some kind of large base in the area?" 'I could probably track them, since they don't seem to have covered their trails at all, but that could lead us right into a hoard of them' “Hey Charlie, think we should try to catch up to those runners, make sure they can't ambush us next time we warp in?"
  8. High movement doesn't make a unit that much better than other units if the majority of your team is 6 mov. Also, since we talking about Casual mode, if you find Classic to be too intimidating a prospect, you can do a half-Classic run of anything but 3H, where you stay on casual mode, but either reset upon a unit falling, or just permabench them. (This is how I weaned myself off Casual mode.) I will admit though sometimes I do go back to casual mode, because it can be really satisfying to freely grind and then rompstomp a couple maps.
  9. *insert entire Kid Icarus Uprising script* But on a somewhat more serious note. "Everything ends eventually. Even if history is not changed... Even if the world of darkness continues in its current state... Eventually the day will come when I won't be here anymore. Since that's the case, the timing of it doesn't matter. The important thing is not how long you live... It's what you accomplish with your life. While I live, I want to shine. I want to prove that I exist. If I could do something really important... That would definitely carry on into the future. No... Not just into the future. In <Hero>'s and <Partner>'s future too... My spirit has become part of them, I believe. In them, my spirit is alive. And that spirit could be passed along to others. And so, if I were to disappear...I think all that I have accomplished will go on. That is... That would mean...that it's living, right?" -Grovyle; Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky.
  10. "Well that's one way to wake up in the morning" exclaimed Butter with a yawn. 'Still I thought this place was secure, perhaps we do need some kind of perimiter.' Turning his attention to the area he noticed Cantus was covered in a lot more leaves than he was a minute ago and that he was carrying a black stone. "Uh, hey Cantus. Whats with the rock?"
  11. What drives those with nothing to lust for money so, and for what? Is it merely the vengeance of the deprived, or the foolishness of the depraved? Perhaps to gold's sweet clink and bloods intoxicating scent, the why and the who may vanish from the mind. Who provides the ichor and coin to those who taint their souls and why? Is it to spread more coin and take more blood, or to take more coin and spread more blood. Perhaps it is both in equal measure and to mix that deepest dread into it all. Oooh I like this one, can you hire him Ruben, please please please? I'll take a pay cut if that's what it takes, I'll stop calling you mean things dead units are still fair game though, I'll even let you in on what my super secret screenshot LP is gonna be if that's what you want.
  12. Since I don't own a switch i had to borrow a friends for 2 weeks, i played Golden Deer Hard Classic. It was okay, the fact that they reused so many maps felt kinda lazy, but since I didn't get all the paralogues I didnt come across the same maps too often. All in all, from my personal experience with the game, as well as what has been said about it by some of the people I know (mainly Rubenio up there), while the game is a neat, I don't think I could justify buying it for any more than €30-40 if I do ever get a switch.
  13. Or, just hear me out, Give yourself an all stats capped Batta the Beast as a berserker with an unbreakable 1-3 range Killer Axe , who will only be used once and never again. Otherwise mine glitch
  14. Butter sprang up and took note of the situation. “Those damnable lizards could be trouble if they get close" Snatching up his bow he exclaimed “ Everyone stay back! Leave those wyverns to me!" Narrowly dodging the first rider's axe swing, he nocked and fired two arrows in quick succession when the remaining beasts got close. From the way they crumbled upon defeat and the iconic headgear that the enemies wore, Butter deduced one thing. “Masked"
