  1. 1. Where are some good grinding chapters for materials, gold, and experience? 2. Is there a mode like in Hyrule Warriors where you just whale on people for a timelimit?
  2. Despite Hyrule Warriors having a lot of characters (including a character from Awakening!) It didn't get any from Zelda 2 (unless you want to be stingy and say Impa because of reincarnations), Minish Cap, and Oracles. You could argue Link To the Past but I group that with Between Worlds since it was a direct sequel. If anything I'd love to see a sequel with more weapon choice. Why have a magic stat if no weapon will be able to use it?
  3. If we were to do stats, etc, Black Knight could systematically take down Anankos and Grima in one shot with Eclipse because of his stats.
  4. If you don't mind not having bonus damage against dragons, it's best to up the rank of weapons for Lucina, Chrom, and the Twins (only one if you need to) early game. If you like a certain attack from someone's combos, forge a Strong # move on them from the smithy. If you want to grind, get the skill "Paragon" from Marth and defeat him on history mode challenges with Divining Skills and the Quality Up Material blessings so you can get his "essence", as well as A ranking him.
  5. Honestly all this love for the main three of Blazing Blade but honestly, I still want some semblance of Marc. He'd be literally small talk where he speaks barely any more than maybe 5 sentences in a word. It'd also be an excuse to have a lance infantry unit who can heal others.
  6. Lissa says she wants to get to know Chrom, her brother better. Just imagining awkward conversations and among them "So do you have any brothers or sisters?"
  7. Personally I'd rather see two avatar units, one male and female (or two of the same gender) only because I'd want to marry who I like the most. By that I mean make meta children. Also, I feel that Awakening handled children WAY better than Fates considering in Fates, children made no impact. While Geneology handled children better, I'd love to see something of a combination of the two (specifically, no generation wipe.)
  8. Jaffar is not Takumi. I am not happy. At least I have a barst I can 5 star to inherit his axe to Frederick.
  9. I had a little trouble on Lunatic but after I wanna say, 5 tries, re equipping QR 2 on Ninian against the red mage on the left, and somehow noticing Ike has Sword Breaker and not vantage I managed to beat it. I hope Arvis turns out to be good and that we get some other good units as Grand Hero re runs. I need Camus and Xander soon.
  10. What I was saying was others keep saying things like "Ike should be in the game since he's a very popular character, and Roy too since without him and Marth we wouldn't have Fire Emblem, and since they're not, the game is shit and I wont buy it." Yes this is a real thing I saw. Anyways, what I'm doing is giving constructive criticism where I mentioned almost all the characters play the same, their attacks, their moves, everything. Not a lot of them have their strengths or weaknesses that you'd normally see and except for a small handful of characters (All three axe users, Xander, Ryoma, Marth, Tiki, Corrin, and the Twins if you count them as one character, really, and this doesn't count future DLC, unlockable characters, and characters we see in story mode except Niles who I know plays exactly like the other archers), all the other characters play almost exactly the same and it hurts to see that. Hyrule Warriors had a more diverse weapon selection and I feel that some characters would've benefited off of getting the ability to use two weapons like how some characters can. I just don't understand why they thought this would be a good idea when there were pretty much no clone characters like this in Hyrule Warriors. The game is still fun, don't get me wrong! I just don't like that characters are limited to their uniqueness based on how important they are, since it seems Lords and Robin got the special treatment.
  11. When I played Hyrule Warriors I just wanted fast paced action. I love games like Kingdom Hearts, Devil May Cry, and it says a lot when Bayonetta 2 got my game of the year all because of how ambitious it was. For me, I feel like some people were really petty when it came to the roster and what people wanted. I remember people saying "Leif needs to get in!" and my first response was looking up who that character was. I haven't played much FE behind Blazing Blade except for Genealogy and if you can count it, Shadow Dragon (only through the remake) but I'm just glad that the characters feel great. People deciding not to buy a game based on a roster is a usual complaint but sometimes it just does not really matter. Fighting games are a big one. When I have a character I love who's not in the game I just pick a different character. Something like this, a spinoff that focuses on a select few games and also some original characters? I wonder where I've heard that before... If there's anything I can complain about the roster it's the variation. All the lance fliers function the same, almost all the sword infantry units are the same (Marth and Corrin are, as far as I know, haven't unlocked Celica and Lyn, the only unique ones) and I really wish reclassing let you use a different weapon like the main games. It makes me mad that I have all these great lances and I can't use them all because I don't like how the Lance Fliers play. I genuinely don't understand this idea of "If this character isn't in the game, I wont buy it." I don't think it ever affects sales unless it's actually a problem (See Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite: Disney pretty much restricted the use of X-Men and Fantastic 4 which is pretty much half the roster of MVC2's Marvel side, and considering how popular they were to play as, and how they made the series what it is now...) But seeing it here just looks like pettiness. I never thought Fire Emblem elitists existed but man was I wrong. I just thought people made jokes about it because the series never really caught on until suddenly Awakening came out and then people who originally played the series thought "Let's make up some fake controversy about how now it's popular it's bad!" That's some /v/ entitlement right there.
  12. I cannot wait to hear these in English. I want to hear Matt Mercer shouting at himself and I can't help but imagine that Mark has been commanding people with clicks and slurps with his tongue or something. One click means use a hand axe, two slurps means use the iron axe
  13. Some questions I have pertaining to comparing Fire Emblem Warriors and Hyrule Warriors Is there a free mode like in Hyrule Warriors where you just fight for a while and fight different enemies with the occasional player enemy? Is getting an S Rank in the History mode exactly/almost like Hyrule Warriors? You have to finish the mission with 1200 kills, can't take more than 200 (iirc) Health points of damage, and you have to finish it within 14 minutes in HW in order to get the highest rank. How easy is it to grind for the Master Seals? Has Datamining found anything interesting? Maybe DLC characters before they're announced? Costumes? How smooth is the gameplay compared to 3DS, Switch, and Switch Performance mode? I'm playing on 3ds and man does it slow down a lot. (Have yet to update it since I was very impatient and wanted to play now.) EDIT: Removed spoilers to story based stuff.
