  1. That really goes to cement Setsuna as my favourite Hoshido character. Laughed the whole way through. My decision to wife her on my first playthrough still hasn't changed.
  2. According to the weapons thread: Nosferatu (リザイア): D-rank / 7 Mt / 70 Hit / 0 Crit / -20 Avo / 1-2 range / 4000 G Mage classes only. Absorbs HP; cannot double attack; cannot critical
  3. Speed/Luck is probably a good Asset/Flaw combo. Speed is just way too useful to pass up because of doubling and evasion purposes, while taking Luck as a Flaw has the benefit of not providing negatives to Skill or Speed. This would bring Kamui up to: Growth Rates: HP 45%, Str 40%, Mag 25%, Skl 45%, Spd 60%, Lck 30%, Def 35%, Res 25% Max Stats: Str -1, Mag -1, Skl +2, Spd +4, Lck -1 and Kanna (possibly) up to: Growth Rates: HP 43%, Str 42%, Mag 27%, Skl 45%, Spd 53%, Lck 33%, Def 32%, Res 32% Max Stats: Str +1, Mag -1, Skl +4, Spd +6, Lck -2, Def +2, Res +1 Class Set: Dark Princess, Wyvern Rider, Dark Mage Pretty solid growths and max stat modifiers for Kanna. For Kamui's alternate class, I'm thinking something from Hoshido. Kanna can always just S and A+ other child characters to grab classes like Cavalier, while Kamui can A anyone in Nohr and still enjoy whatever alternate class is chosen. Going Hoshido lets you cover more ground and get more skills. Of the Hoshido classes, Samurai, Lance Fighter and Bowman all have merits. Samurai for Vantage, Lancefighter for Breaking Sky and Flamboyant, and Bowman for Prescient Victory, Raven Strike and Sun God. With Samurai you can pull off the Vantage/Vengeance combo but whether it's worth it with the lower Skill cap and skill activation rate remains to be seen. Either way, I figure mandatory skills would be Draconic Curse on both Kamui and Kanna, Deadly Breath to drop surrounding enemies health, possibly a -faire skill depending on which weapon you want, an activator (Vengeance, Luna, Breaking Sky) and then personal preference. Overbearing is always nice, Pavise or Patient Assurance if you want survivability or increased damage on enemy phase, or Bowbreaker to counter the flying weakness. Chucking all three into the Wyvern Lord class is also a good idea. High Strength, Skill, Speed and Defense plus flying utility.
  4. Kagerou seems like a really strong character, excited to see what I can do with her. My only complaint is that her Skill is a bit on the lower side (Personal 20 + 20 from Ninja puts it to 40%) but still respectable. Probably won't be too huge an issue because of how accurate Shurikens are but whatever. Skill activation also won't be a problem since her reclass option of Spellcaster gives her access to the wonderful Basara class with Breaking Sky and Flamboyant (Lethality is just too low a proc rate for me to care too much). Sitting in Jonin could have her equipped with Kunaifaire, Snake Venom, Breaking Sky and Flamboyant. Only other Hoshido skill I'd think of chucking on her is maybe Ogre Strike if she A+ Supports Rinkah. Extra Crit is always nice and hers may be a bit on the lower side with her Skill growth. Marriage into a Samurai class could also round out her final skill. Strength Seal to curb her low Defense, Vantage to attack first, whatever works. Either way, definitely going to be using her when Fates releases.
  5. Same here, that Strength is kind of low. Not going to stop me from using and marrying her though. Probably going to take Mercenary as my alternate class, that way she can pick up Patient Assurance and Sol. Plus Bow Knight is far superior to Golden-kite Warrior when it comes to max stats. She would end up with good class skills too, with the two mentioned before, Bowfaire, and Prescient Victory from the Bowman line and the something else to round it out. Maybe Snake Venom to drop enemy HP after hitting them. Either way, I get the feeling I may use battle-saves to try and ensure her Strength doesn't get too shafted.
  6. Not sure. I certainly hope so. At the very least I know from the Marriage and Support thread that a character can have one Marriage Support and one Buddy Support. Hopefully Rinkah can Buddy with Oboro for Lance Fighter.
  7. Going Ninja means she'd only have 30% Strength growth, 35% if promoted to Puppeteer. She really needs to stay in her base class line for a while since it's the best she can get in regards to Strength. For reclass purposes, Samurai would probably be a good option. She can take Line of Death to boost her damage while Flowing Strike can at least keep her safe on player phase, and Vantage on enemy phase. She can also pick up Swordfaire from the Samurai line and Blacksmith does go up to B in Swords which means access to Silver Swords. Another good one would be Lance Fighter because of Breaking Sky being a much more reliable activator over Lethality. Marry Hinata, A+ Oboro and she'd probably be pretty solid.
  8. Effie seems like she'd go really well if she nabs an A+ support with Charlotte/S Support with Arthur so she can reclass to Fighter. Her naturally high Strength, Skill and Speed growths would shine in Berserker or Hero.
  9. I'm all for more same-sex marriages, I just can't see it happening in Fates unless it's DLC. They'd have to write multiple new supports, code it into the game, possibly translate it if the Japanese writers are doing the writing, and if not they'd still have to go over everything with IS. Just a few supports could still equal a lot of work. By all means, chuck more into FE15 when it releases, but I doubt it will happen for Fates. As for skinship, no point in changing it. It would either come out as horribly awkward or just removed entirely which is a waste of the work the developers did. The lewd lines are between married couples so I can't see why it's a big deal.
  10. So Golden-kite Warrior has pretty bad stat caps, so rather than taking that, I'm thinking of Bow Knight instead. Sure I lose flying utility but hey, I won't die miserable and it has better caps in pretty much everything. End result: Asset/Flaw - + Speed/- Luck Alternate Class - Mercenary Wife - Setsuna Class: Golden Kite Warrior Weapons: Lance, Bow Skills: Hoshido (+10% Skill Activation Rate) Bowfaire (+5 Damage when a Bow is equipped) Breaking Sky (Skill x 1.5% chance of adding half the enemy’s Strength or Magic as damage) Prescient Victory (+4 Damage when initiating attack) Ogre Strike/Aggressor/Flamboyant (+20 Crit when initiating attack/+7 Damage when initiating attack/+30 Hit and +15 skill activation for user and enemy) Breaking Sky could hit 73% activation rate if Hoshido and Flamboyant stack, so you could a reliable damage mod. Need to A-rank Oboro or someone else to get access to Lance Fighter but it wouldn't be a hassle in the Hoshido route, and possibly Rinkah if going with Ogre Strike.
  11. So I am doing a Capture run at one point where I just beat the tar out of a bunch of Great Knights, Dark Knights, Revenant Knights, Adventurers and Heroes then use them to beat the game.
  12. Nyx and Ophelia confirmed for top tier Skinship. Also, the Lazwald-Soleil supports are great.

Hoshido: Asset/Flaw - + Speed/- Defense Alternate Class - Lance Fighter Wife - Setsuna Class: Golden Kite Warrior Weapons: Lance, Bow Skills: Hoshido (+10% Skill Activation Rate) Lancefaire (+5 Damage when Lance equipped) Breaking Sky (Skill x 1.5% chance of adding half the enemy’s Strength or Magic as damage) Prescient Victory (+4 Damage when initiating attack) Last skill is up in the air. Aggressor from Dread Fighter for even more damage if it stacks with Prescient Victory, Flamboyant if it stacks with Hoshido, or Sun God if I want to support my allies between murdering everything in sight. Asset/Flaw combo lets me keep Speed and Skill high to focus on dodge-tanking. The - Luck from the Flaw is unfortunate, but Luck will still be sitting at 50% in the default class so I'm not worried. Nohr: Asset/Flaw - + Speed/- Defense Alternate Class - Cavalier Wife - Nyx Class - Dark Knight Weapons: Sword, Tome Skills: Nohr (During Attack or Guard Stance, user shares their support unit’s passive battle skills) Luna (Skill% chance of ignoring half enemy's Defense or Resistance) Lifetaker (Recover 50% HP if enemy unit is killed when user attacks) Draconic Curse (Enemy stats -4 until next turn after attacking) Ride around with Nyx (Bow Knight class for the extra Speed, Skill and Movement assuming Pair-up stat bonuses are the same) as the support unit in Guard Stance. The Nohr skill will let me benefit from her Devilish Wind skill when I smack people with Magic and again, Pair-up bonuses. Luna is a solid damage booster, and Draconic Curse just makes subsequent turns easier. Final skill is again up in the air. If Deadly Breath from Wyvern Knight stacks with Devilish Wind that could be fun for post battle AoE, Pavise is nice for curbing weaknesses, or Patient Assurance for a damage boost on enemy phase. Same Asset/Flaw to prioritize double attacks. Final note, if enemy Speed stats aren't the greatest then I would probably go Skill/Defense to boost activation rates in both routes. Edit: Had forgotten to include Asset/Flaw info.
  14. Setsuna's HP and Strength growths leave me feeling a little worried, especially since she's my favourite Hoshido character and will probably always have a spot in my party.
