So I assume Lefties are the equivalent of scum in this game? The wincon sounded more like an alternate town faction (cult?), but Ninja by itself only makes sense as a scum role, so... So Kay and Proto are a hydra now? Okay. I'm wondering if that Tables vote was last minute distancing, since there was no way he was getting Tables lynched. Honestly probably not worth looking into since it's something scum did when they were about to die anyway, but it's interesting. I need to re-read.

Well yeah, people tend to want the people they think are scum to be lynched. Reasonably aggressive play is pro-town in nature since it's the only really way to make scum feel pressured. The attempt to deflect my attacks back toward me is rather irritating, given that I might not have been attacking you for half the day had you popped up to post something that made me feel better about you before the last 10 hours of the day. I'm going to bed pretty soon, and probably won't be around for deadline. If JB never claims even though he's at L-1, then I don't know what to say other than :psyduck:. His post does make me want to re-read Tables but I don't really have the time because it got posted when I was busy and I only just now got the time to parse it. @_@ (also, eclipse, I'm pretty sure Kay did vote you somewhere down the line)

I read it, but you didn't ask me any questions and there wasn't anything I felt the need to respond to. As is, I can't think of much more to do aside from wait for a Naglfar/Tables post and ideally a roleclaim from JB. It would be rather irritating if the cycle ends with multiple players (again, Naglfar and Tables, and I guess we're not getting anything from Snike) not commited to any votes, because that would make it easy for scum to avoid future wagon analysis. Also, the deadline passes while I'm asleep. I won't be around for it unless I set my alarm out of self-loathing or something, so I sure hope the posts I'm waiting for come soon.

Last 24 hours of the day and everyone suddenly stops posting? That's not very cool. I'd like to hear from Naglfar, Snike and Tables on where they'd probably like to place their votes. Balcerzak too, since I don't think he has voted since the unvote.

zzzz To elaborate on eclipse, I really don't think her tunneling on Kevin looks like it's coming from somebody who expects Kevin to be a viable mislynch for the day. This doesn't rule her out from being scum, but I don't feel that her vote is opportunistic at this point.

I don't see the point in giving legitimate arguments in response to somebody who is either A. intentionally trying to make people mad or B. getting upset because people are having fun playing something he doesn't like. It's a waste of time either way.

I'm going back to not reading Kay as scum after her latest post. The way the wagon on her dissipated as soon as she posted some proper :words: makes me feel it was just the result of gathered animosity toward lurkers in the first place. Honestly though, it's kind of hard to read her due to her sparse contributions, which tends to the the problems with lurkers in general. <_< That said, she doesn't seem like a good D1 lynch to me right now. I don't think JB looks bad for sheeping alone, but because he's been adding to already formed wagons over shoddy reasons while ignoring the other possible targets. Currently feeling like he's the best D1 lynch target we have. Strawman is starting to bug me because his original vote didn't have much weight to it and he doesn't have any more solid/relevant opinions now that we're nearing the end of the day. This might just coincide with typical lurker habits, but hearing from him would be nice. I'd like to see the people who aren't voting (Naglfar, Snike) place down a vote, too, since votes are pretty damn important for getting people lynched and it feels like Naglfar and Snike are just sitting in the background without involving themselves with town too much. Obviously, that's not ideal play regardless of aligment. Also, I'm not good at exact numerical orders like the kind Kevin requested, but I can post a tier list of sorts instead. D1 reads are usually pretty pointless though since they become a lot less relevant after flips exist, but if people want a list of my reads then I don't see the point in denying it. --Town Townie Obvtown: Prims, Kevin I'm town because I have access to my role PM. Kevin looks town because of the earlygame pile-up, and he's been pretty contributive. I do believe I already explained why I thought that was unlikely to happen on scum. --Leaning Town: Paperblade, eclipse Paperblade doesn't feel like he's working with buddies (which basically makes this a shitty gut read like most D1 town reads are anyway). eclipse looks like she has townie conviction (or townie tunnel vision) even though I don't agree that Kevin is scum. --Neutral: Kay, Balcerzak, Tables, Naglfar Not reading any of these guys one way or another - Kay is a slight town lean, Naglfar is a slight scum lean because he's been folding to pressure and also hasn't been much of a go-getter in terms of voting. Tables is unmemorable in the same way Strawman is unmemorable, but I feel Tables' content has been more solid (though iirc he's not actually voting right now, which is :/ ) --Wariness: Levity, Snike, Strawman Levity kept taking potshots at people while parking her votes on lurkers earlier which struck me as off. And now that I've woken up I'm currently not feeling up to parse constant WoTs when they just end in empty unvotes anyway (though I do intend to read through the thread and post something worthwhile instead of skimming it eventually, this post is just saying "I exist" really). I'm happy to see JB has the most votes. Dude hasn't been doing anything original except for pushing the promising wagons and I haven't seen him given any opinions on players that aren't already huge targets. Feeling pretty good about the wagon on him since the other people voting him are fairly town from my perspective.

Snike's post feels pretty slim, given how much has happened since the last time he said anything. It's kind of sad that we have 3 no-voters right now. I want to hear more from Kay - I re-read her earlier post and I'm not sure where my previous town read on her was coming from. I don't necessarily agree her apathy is scummy in this context, but it looked like she was just shooting for the easiest things to talk about and not really doing anything pro-active. If I had to choose a more "popular" wagon to shoot for right now, it would probably be her, but I'm still the most interested in lynching JB because his jump on Kevin's wagon still looks bad to me.

I don't see the point in arguing with that since it sounds like you're already convinced NOC is shit, in which case I don't see why you even care about popcorn claiming in the first place. :shrug:

I'm pretty sure I posted serious reasons for voting him sometime into my argument with him. That said, I believe JB is the worst of the wagon for reasons I've already gone over. Even in his recent defense post he seems to somewhat follow the pattern of "oh, I guess that's not too bad, but I still want to vote Kevin". The vote feels shaky and I feel it's possible he was trying to certify that Kevin became a wagon.

Kevin was pushed to L-2 within the timespan of 5 hours. As much as I'd like to believe town is full of total badasses who can out scum in the first 24 hours of D1 without a single objection or attempt to start a counterwagon from the scum team, it just doesn't really happen. Earlygame is a bad time for bussing, too, since numbers are important to scum and D1 cases tend to become a lot less notable after flips exist. Sure, it's not entirely impossible Kevin is scum who managed to get 7 townies to attack him while the rest of the scum were being idle, but based on prior experience with D1 wagons like this it seems rather unlikely to me. I'm not really feeling either Balcerzak or Kay as scum, but I do think that Balcerzak's attack on Naglfar looks based on personality rather than scumminess.

ED1 = Early Day 1 (translates to cycle 1 in this case) LALu = Lynch All Lurkers (Lu instead of L because LAL already means Lynch All Liars) In other news, why do we need to NL on Cycle 1? That's basically asking for a 144-hour long D1, and last I checked nobody really enjoys D1 enough to desire that.
