Love it! Concept is great, the color scheme looks good, and the execution is great. A couple of suggestions: The "fur" could use some work on its shading. The individual tufts look good, but it doesn't quite look like the fur is underneath the shoulder pauldrons. Second, the design on his chest-piece looks like it is oriented at an angle that isn't quite consistent with the chest-piece. If it were reoriented just slightly, it would look more like its a part of the armor.

I forgot how odd the Serenes tiering philosophy is... I completely disagree, but oh well.

As others have said, if you're downloading a game that is no longer in circulation, you're not compromising anyone's products. The people who made the games are making just as much money when you download the game as when you buy it used.

Swords and sword users have such a high skill that lances hardly benefit from the added avoid of being advantageous in the weapon triangle. Axes are by far the best weapons in FE (FE5 and up) because their strength outweighs their issues of accuracy (as well as most axe-users having a high enough skill). All in all, sword actually have an advantage over axes, axes actually have an advantage over lances, and lances fail to beat either in almost every situation.

I would argue that Ephraim's having lances is what makes him NOT overpowered. I would say that lances are the worst weapons in the Fire Emblem series, through and through.

I like your sprites a lot, Lenh! For Caius: This may be because you're conforming to the GBA color limit, but I think that the color of his hair doesn't contrast the color of his armor enough.

FE6's music is alright, but the instrument choice is very poor, in my opinion.

What would you say is the best soundtrack in a Fire Emblem title? Not in the sense of what are your favorite tracks from each game, but what title as a whole has the best music to you? I would argue between FE4 and FE7, with FE7 slightly winning out. The music in both games just is so cohesive, and there's few if any poor tracks in either games. I don't think that the other Fire Emblem games have as consistently great soundtracks among them.

To be fair, Caesar was originally pronounced as Kaiser. The spelling just stayed even though the pronunciation changed. There is no way that Caeda is meant to sound like Shiida. It doesn't make phonetic sense whatever way you put it.

I think that it is unfair to say that he's a 'rehash', but when put in the context of the fact that Awakening was expected to be the last Fire Emblem game, it makes sense that the main character would harken back to the main character of the first game.

I think that Fire Emblem 4 & 5 seem to have the most tragic stories.
