  1. First of all, even the earliest versions of Project Exile incorporated QoL changes, namely displaying the Scroll's actual stat boosts, since in Japanese their description only reads "A holy document". Second, a version of this patch called Lil Fiana that strips away any and all QoL additions has been in the works for months and is only waiting for the next LM update. Learn to read.
  2. As someone who loves FE5 to bits, I tried out this hack in a heartbeat and hoo boy, this was a ride, alright. Having officially completed it, I really want to say that this is an amazing hack. Making everyone and their mother have 20 Vigor Stats makes the game play completely different. Not only that, but this alongside the many map shortcuts which have been added just make this game play SUPER quick. You can literally beat the entire hack in a single day if you really want to. Second, the fact that everyone who had Vigor Stars in vanilla got varying degrees of compensation depending on the amount of Stars they had in vanilla is superb. The new Prf weapons are a sight to behold. The Thiefblade gave Munster inventory management a pretty unique spin, the Shining Bow makes Ronan even more epic, and the very few enemies who also got new Prfs were also extremely fun to face. I don't really want to spoil a lot, but let me say that Veld is an actual challenge now and I absolutely LOVED it. And lastly, there's the abridged dialogue. Even if it only lasts until Chapter 8x, my god, its legitimately hilarious. Here's to hoping you find time to actually finish this script, because the saga of Sir Loaf of Loanster is one that definitely deserves a conclusion 😛 Overall, this hack is an amazingly solid first-entry into western Thracia ROM Hacks, of which I hope there will be more in the future. If you've played FE5 at least twice then I absolutely recommend this hack. It's good fun. The game is a breeze with its only "bad" moment being Chapter 14x (which is entirely skippable since it still doesn't have any valuable items nor recruitable characters), the new Prf weapons are definitely worth experiencing, and the abridged dialogue is sure to get at least a chuckle out of you. Tl;dr Amazing work, Mia.
  3. FE1 = Title Theme FE2 = Final Map FE3 = Expedition FE4 = Disturbance in Agustria FE5 = Advance B FE6 = Path of the Divine Generals FE7 = Companions FE8 = Truth, Despair and Hope FE9 = Congregation of Ambition FE10 = Ascent FE11 = The Time to Act FE12 = Those Who Cave A New History FE13 = Id ~ Purpose FE14 = Idk, haven't played FE15 = What Lies At The End FE3H = God-Shattering Star
  4. As one of the playtesters for the (now complete and released) Spanish patch, it has been a pleasure to be able to contribute to this amazing project. For almost a whole year, this team has done the impossible and has turned Thracia from the most inaccessible game in the franchise into easily one of the most accessible. All of these UI updates, QoL tweaks, and translating this game into other languages (Thracia got a Spanish translation before Genealogy, New Mystery and Binding Blade) will sure encourage lots of people to give this game the chance that it deserves. It's been awesome to see all of this unfold. Thank you so much for this! I can't wait to see what else you're all planning to do for my favorite Fire Emblem game!
  5. I don't know if I'm late to this, but I might as well contribute since I always thought that it would be fun to make a moveset for my favorite FE Lord: Leif. Yes, I know, another anime swordsman, but I want him to be even a little bit different from the rest. So yeah, that's my contribution to this thread. I personally believed the myth that Leif was supposed to be in Melee instead of Roy for such a long time, and I truly wish that he wasn't so overlooked even by the Fire Emblem community.
  6. Hello! I have been a part of the Serenes Forest for a few months, and I've mostly been inactive in all this time. Because of this, I decided that I would share something I have been doing and enjoying: Writing! Since Fire Emblem is a franchise I enjoy a lot, I decided to take a shot in the realm of fanfiction and see what comes from it. I've actually written a few (actually just 3, lol) complete FE stories, and I have quite a lot of ideas for many future ones. The thing is... All of them are centered around FE5: Thracia 776. "Why might that be something special or worthy of pointing out?" you might ask. Well, as far as I'm concerned FE5 is now the least-played game in the series (thanks to Echoes officially getting Gaiden out of meme obscurity), and that means that quite a lot of people aren't familiar with it's characters. Because of this, I feel like there really isn't an audience for them, as again the majority of people might not know of the characters or the stories told within the game. Thracia is just flat out my favorite FE game with all of it's shortcomings included, plus the cast of 56 characters and the fact that there are no Support Conversations whatsoever made me really excited to try and make its characters feel more alive and like actual character. Here I leave my second story overall, called "A Glimmer of Hope". It's meant to be a prologue of the game set shortly before they stumble upon Fiana. I would actually love any feedback I could get on this story, since it's sort of my introduction to how I write and it contains the 3 main characters of Thracia. I have actually published this story, and since the rules never said anything in regards to links, so if there's somehow a problem with sharing the story that way, I will still publish it below. There it is! I really hope that it is of people's liking and that I didn't screw up in any way (let it be the story, or the way I made this topic). I've honestly been in a block of sorts being afraid that no one will really read my work due to the good chunk of people who haven't played FE5, since I will be delving into absolutely all of it's characters, from the characters with the most potential (Shiva, Mareeta, Lara, Homer, Saias) to the downright unthinkable (Brighton, Troude, Salem, Hicks, Miranda, Ronan, Kane-Alva-and-Robert, etc). That, and seeing how supportive and varied the community is, I thought this could be my opportunity to throw myself out there. Again, I'm open to feedback of all sorts :) Thank you for reading and have a wonderful night! (Or day!)
  7. Whoops... Didn't notice for some reason. My apologies.
  8. Seriously, this game is almost as unrepresented as Binding Blade and we just got Leif, Finn and Nanna on Heroes earlier this year. There are so many characters who deserve to make it to Heroes. I would personally put in Mareeta, Eyvel, Orsian, Dagdar, Tanya, Marty, Lifis, Shiva, Karin, Fergus, Asvel, Salem, Tina, Perne, Homer, Lara, Selfina, Miranda, Sara and Xavier. As for reasons: Mareeta and Eyvel are LONG overdue, they should've arrived alongside Leif, Finn and Nanna this year. More people deserve to know about Perne and Homer's character, lmao. Dagdar is literally a more badass Bartre and Tanya is Fir if she used a Bow and was a tomboy. Machyua iirc was the first non-mounted female Axe-user. Salem was the first playable Dark Mage in the series. Lifis is literally the biggest scumbag ever recruitable and Shiva has one of the most badass designs out of all Swordmasters. Karin and Fergus are amazing units and an endearing couple. Asbel because Grafcalibur and because he'd be our Pants-less Boy. Shannam because I would just LOVE to see IS make him a Top-Tier unit so we can laugh ourselves off. Honestly, if I had to condense them all into 3 banners it would have to be: Mareeta, Orsian, Tanya (Colorless Bow user) and Homer (Blue Mage). Shiva (Sword Infantry), Saphy (Staff user), Lifis (as a Red Dagger just so he can be even more of an arsehole) and Karin. Asbel (Blue Mage), Miranda (Red Mage), Linoan (Green Mage) and Sara (Staff user). As for a TT reward, I sadly see IS giving Eyvel the same treatment as Finn, and for a GHB Raydrik wouldn't be out of the question.
  9. For me it would have to be: Gerik (Sword infantry, obviously), Tethys (preferably a Colorless Dagger), Cormag (Lance Flier) and Selena (Green Mage Cavalry). Gerik and Tethys deserve to be in this game (Imagine them redrawn with Heroes quality X_X), and are a no-brainer for Bound Hero Battles. Cormag has already been drawn by Ippei (see Dorcas and Arden) on his spare time, and he made it to the 100th spot in CYL2, so IS is aware that he is popular. Selena... I just really want to see more of her. Her character design is beautiful, has quite a tragic backstory and Myrrh even references her death in her Heroes dialogue. I honestly have always thought that Duessel would be left as either a TT Reward or a GHB, but in this suggestion I will leave him as a TT Reward (They did this to MY BOI FINN! And he also deserved better...), and for the GHB it would have to go to Caellach.
  10. Well, for starters it was my first FE game. The game doesn't drag you through a sluggish tutorial, and in my opinion it has both one of the most memorable casts and one the best stories in the series (Ephraim's Story only, though. Eirika's Story overwrites Lyon's character and has her become Celica 2.0 in terms of stupidity, but seeing Joshua and Cormag get the spotlight is awesome). I also found the idea of the Tower of Valni a very nice addition, even if it made the game a breeze but it was still an option. Also, I have to wholeheartedly agree with the fact that Jugdral is ruined by the gameplay, ESPECIALLY Genealogy. Thracia established the future of FE games with most of it's new offerings (thank Naga that Fatigue, Staves missing and Unlimited Stave ranges didn't remain, though), and while it does have a ton of bullcrap mechanics, it was still a very engaging Fire Emblem experience if you managed to pull through. Imo Genealogy suffers the most because, while not primitive like Gaiden, it was still experimental and a lot of the issues boil down to how much it reeks of having a rushed development which is only proven further to how Thracia managed to step up in basically every way when it came to the aesthetics (map detail, better character portraits, units can Trade and they all share the same money, etc).
  11. While I'm not entirely new to the Website nor the Forums, this is the first time I try to be active within the site. I've been a very big fan of this awesome franchise for the last 3 years or so, and I've actually reached the point of starting to write fanfiction about it (Do I need help?). Since I'm still not sure how to properly do an introduction... I guess I will start with what I like! On topics other than Fire Emblem, I'm also a huge fan of Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Golden Sun and Monster Hunter. I'm also a huge fan of Tokusatsu shows like Kamen Rider and Super Sentai, I guess :P ...What? Oh, right. Waifu Sim- I mean, Fire Emblem. I've played Sacred Stones, Genealogy of the Holy War, Thracia 776, Awakening and Shadows of Valentia (all of them twice), and just recently finished my first play-through of Blazing Sword (Eliwood's story). I'm a massive fan of Jugdral because I adore it's dark atmosphere and heavily detailed world, I love Valentia's lovable cast and very well-executed story, and I like Magvel because of pretty much the same reasons everybody loves Sacred Stones. Thracia 776 is my favorite game in the series and Leif is my favorite Lord. Despite the fact that my favorite game is the least-played and therefore the most obscure, I honestly love all of the games and I'm quite happy to be a part of this community. Oh, and I'm a guy if for some extremely weird reason that had to be made clear. Anyways, it's very nice to meet you all!
  12. See, this is what I mentioned earlier. While Leif has been persecuted nearly since birth, Finn was the one who went through most of the hardships which Leif and Nanna would've otherwise experienced. It is stated Finn would go for days without food just so Leif and Nanna were never left hungry. And even then, the three of them eventually found safe haven at Fiana, where Leif could grow up accompanied by the other villagers of Fiana. So, while I'm not saying Leif didn't suffer while growing up, most of the hardships many think he endured were actually endured by Finn. Or am I wrong somewhere?
  13. What I just mentioned. I apologize.

  15. Yep. Arvis had absolutely nothing to do with it. And he didn't know the truth about her (both being Sigurd's wife and being his own half-sister) until much, MUCH later on. It was all Manfroy's scheme.
