One of my RomHack projects right now uses the FE7 engine, and I want to utilize the CG screens. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in illustrating certain scenes for me at what they consider as a reasonable price. If anyone is interested, I would love to describe what needs to be illustrated and haggle on the costs.

@DarthR0xas Thank you! And yes, I totally know what you’re talking about for the third one. I haven’t revised that one yet, what’s on the neck are leftover rings from Laurum’s sprite. That neck comment is pretty funny. I’ll be sure to get to it. I’m glad you like the detective hat! It’s meant to be a reference to one of my favorite characters from Ace Attorney. Sherlock Holmes! The entire character closely resembles him, actually.

Haha! I’ve been waiting for when my account could freely post so I could upload some of my work. Splicing is something that I’ve worked on for quite awhile now, and I’m confident to say I’ve gotten better at it. My colors don’t clash from other games, faces don’t have messed up jaws, etc. Despite it being splicing, I’ve developed a style of what I like and don’t like. I totally love FE7’s sprite style, and I despise FE8’s colors. So you’ll be seeing much of FE7 coloring. These sprites will be used in my upcoming RomHack! I’ve already gotten them to work in game without a hitch. Let me know what you think!

I’m currently using FE Builder to construct a Fire Emblem hack of my own. I have music and have made conversions, but I don’t know how to loop the music. It said I need to label the loop section in DTM software. Can anyone tell me what that is and how to do it?

@riccochet Nice to meet you! I’ll admit Tellius isn’t something I’ve gotten around to playing, one of the few entries in the series I haven’t tried. I want to and will eventually. What’s your favorite part of it? And I’ve been playing Heroes from day one too! These days I’ve just been forming all kinds of niche teams.

@Von Ithipathachai @Ycine Forgot to mention a little fun fact! The guy with the pompadour is inspired by JoJo’s Part 4 Protag, Josuke. I liked how the style of his hair is something often brought up. So with this sprite, it’ll reflect in the character’s personality. He’s a bit uptight and constantly on edge, so his hairs are already standing straight!

@Jotari I'll be sure to keep that in mind when I do another set of revisions. I've seen the tier branch tree! I like looking at battle sprites, and the ones shown were very nice and cool. You did a good job of organization. How long did that take to make?

@Jotari Hey! I've seen some of your stuff on here before. Nice to talk to you! And I suppose I should justify the sword a bit. I thought about it's practicality too. So I've been toying with the idea It's more of a plot device, something that can't be wielded. And I mean, when it comes to the hackbox for sprites, there's not enough room to tilt the sword to look traditional. It can only work straight up. Perhaps in the future I'll add a sling. I'll be happy to toughen up for here. I've looked around, and the people here are thankfully more constructive than criticism. Thanks for the advice!

@Junkhead I really appreciate what you're saying. It's refreshing to get some positive advice since some of my past attempts at showing my work haven't gone well. Especially on the area I was really sensitive about, which was the edgelord comments. That guy was actually my first OC waaaaay back when and is the protagonist of my hack. So thank you! I'll be sure to keep my head high.
