  1. thanks for the replies, I'll review them in full in a bit, but wanted to follow up real quick - where can I buy feathers in the Shop? I only see Orbs as a purchasable thing.
  2. Casual here, but looking to get more involved in the game. So I had a couple general questions on how to approach building towards endgame. - how do I weigh the importance of sending Allies home for feathers or keeping them for skill inheriting? Massive research to see if the skill is worth inheriting, based on my team rotation? - I guess recently they removed the lvl20 requirement for Unlocking Potential. My question was GOING to be is there a point to leveling a 4* beyond 20? But now my question is, is there a point to leveling a 4* at all? - how easy are feathers to come by? I have already Unlock Potentialed on I want to say 3* to 4* twice and 4* to 5* twice, w/o really paying attention to cost, until my most recent one (a 4-star to 5-star). It hit me that feathers may actually be much tougher to get than I had thought when I wasn't paying attention to the Unlock Potential costs. Anyway, I ask all of this in order to sort of...triage my resources and plans on who I want to get to 5-stars. I currently have 5 5*s and another 5-7ish 4*s I like. But I'm thinking I should just focus on my 5*s still I save up enough feathers again to boost another 4* to 5*? Is that a reasonable approach? Or should I still play my 4*s for whatever reason? Thanks!
  3. Just checking this out now. Laslow has the bday of a girl I'm seeing. Opheila shares the same bday as my ex-gf and closest friend (2 separate ppl lol). And Shiro's bday is 1 day after mine!
  4. I no longer have my Wii. :( But my friend I gave it to, still might. I don't think it's an older model, but I can always check. Maybe/hopefully they'll both make an appearance on a future Switch Virtua Console by the time I get a Switch!
  5. Nice, fellow Sacramentan. You going to this summer SacAnime? Only place I can think of for some lowkey FE loot. And no, at least especially not PoR. I can probably find a RD somewhere and play it on my Wii Channel on Wii U. But as of now I'm limited to whatever is on DS/3DS and Wii/WiiU. Does remind me, I can look for Shadow Dragon somewhere to complete my 3/DS collection... hmm...
  6. Thanks for the welcome! I just checked, how I can I get my hands on it? Looks like it was released only in Japan across its platforms (SNES, Wii, WiiU, VC). Emulator best route? Is there one that's translated?
  7. I was gonna quote a buncha ppl to give props, but it'd just be a buncha repeats and ones on my own list. But this one stands out. I dig it, really looking forward to it, too. Anyway, oh man, so many. I don't wanna put a list of like 20 games, so I'll try to limit it to ones I actually have a strong sense about (i.e. Greedfall and Babylon's Fall look really sick and really hyped for it, but I just know too little about them, atm) and have fairly close release dates. Here are mine: Death's Gambit Soulcalibur VI Jake Hunter Detective Story: Ghost of the Dusk Dead or Alive 6 Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Timespinner Biomutant Darksiders III If I had a Switch, of course Octopath and FE:3H would be up there as well. edit: and SNK Heroines.
  8. I wanted Medb, Ozy, Tamamo, Vlad, or Sanzang for flavor/waifu reasons. Got Nightingale. But seems like that may not be such a bad thing. Got Da Vinci from her Gacha as well. edit: I kinda wish I had gone the Knights gacha instead. I don't think a single Servant would've disappointed me from it. Although, the Cavalry gacha had characters I wanted more than any from the Knights gacha. But also had ones I wanted to avoid (like Nightingale. But maybe she'll be worth it like some others think).
  9. Right, so basically there's no point in having a sort of "wishlist" of Servants. It's basically whatever the story/events and gacha rolls give me. I can dig it. Makes it more exciting when I land something I want (as a History graduate, the list of Servants has me like ). Thanks! I'd seen that, but hadn't gone in and I guess either didn't read the Help description or just didn't understand it at the time.
  10. Couple questions, as I'm breaking during maintenance: - is there any way to control what servant you get? Or is it all 100% gacha rolls? - how do I fuse duplicate Servants? I already have a dupe and read the best thing to do is to fuse it for better NP (another option was to burn it for XP, if I read correctly?). But for the life of me, I can't find where to fuse Servants. Can anyone help me navigate the menus, please?
  11. lol, right on. Well, thanks for the input @Mister Rogers and @QKumber gonna restart up FGO today, as I watch the Zero throughout the day too! Also, ok if you spoil this for me, but what about the different forms? Like, I see EMIYA and Hassan having different forms and subsequently different character names?
  12. ty. But it's moreso just getting familiar w/the Servants, than just the story (tho I definitely also like to be as knowledgeable about the story/universe as possible too). Any game I team build, I try to use characters I like, regardless of their strength (although that does come into consideration sometimes too). I.e. is EMIYA/Demiya (which name do I use anyway?) a douche? Is Marth or Bilqis the better waifu? etc etc.
  13. Roger, ty. And re: the anime, I'm watching Unlimited Blade Works, by Ufotable afaik. Afaik, the only one on Crunchyroll (the only service I use if only to intentionally limit myself from going overboard trying to watch 30000000 anime. It lacks some I really want to see, but oh well. My que is already around 40.). Edit: ugh, there's Fate/Zero and First Order too lol. Oh well, more to watch! ...also...Fate/kaleid liner. Looks like it's not set in the typical Fate universe, but has Fate/ in the title, so... But yeah, guess should watch Fate/Zero before UBW. Edit2: just watched a couple "how to watch Fate series" videos lol. Ok, I got a good idea now. Zero > UBW > Fist Order. ...or Zero > First Order as just a warmup to FGO (cuz those seem to have a stronger focus on characters in the FGO game? Maybe? I make that conclusion just based on thumbnails of each episode. UBW shows high school kids, Zero shows warriors.) and watch UBW later. And Prism Illya (which I see now is the kaleid liner series I mentioned) just whenever. Again, I'm lucky I'm limited by Crunchyroll. Edit3: last one, I swear. Ok, so it seems the Holy Grail War is timeless, so even the modern day high school setting can still have the ancient warriors/heroes summoned. The same ones that are/could be in FGO. So I shouldn't really presume it wouldn't help me get to know the Servants in FGO better, b/c it very well could!
  14. Cool, thanks for the head's up. I think i'll probably be picking up this game. FFRK has become too burdensome on my phone (load times are horrible, as are just changing screens sometimes) and FE:H takes up 1GB of space! I kinda like to at least know/experience a little bit about a franchise before I delve into it, so I'm gonna try to binge Fate/stay night this weekend. Oh, and that brings up another question, is your account/save file server side or no? I had played FGO just until I could access the menus. I uninstalled and after re-installing earlier today, i had to start over. Which I'm fine with, but just curious if my first draw was saved (I didn't get back to that part).
