Abyssal Hrid is seriously a whole other level, had no problem with Infernal but can't crack this one yet. Those debuffs are killer, plus Hrid one shots everyone on my team. Fortunately the accessory reward is fugly unlike the wicked awesome rewards for Ryoma and Lucina so don't mind taking it slow on this one.

Fricking Abyssal Ryoma surviving +10 Summer Corrin fully primed Bladetome attack :O Had to charge up Growing Wind to kill him, what a beast. Corrin is wearing his helmet now tho, victor, spoils, etc. Really love seeing how you guys who are much better at this game than me clear these maps without +10s

Speaking of horse teams... why would you take the most mobile characters in the game and put them in a box to be sniped one by one....lol even more embarrassingly i almost lost a unit to this team, I've never fought a boxed in team before and didn't realize the AI doesn't move towards their target if they don't have a path, so my master plan of luring them all to the side didn't work. my bolt tower actually had the opposite effect and lured veronica out of sniping range when she went to heal. had to open up a hole to let them out and was fully prepared to lose somebody for my mistake, until it turned out the team was set up so that the dancer moves first XD

Maybe they will eventually let us spend grails to get old accessories that we missed...but you don't like AR so that might be a double edge sword hehe

YES healer Reinhardt running Pain+ and Double Savage Blow would be a perfect fourth...or bow Reinhardt bc he hangs out with Brave Lyn so much he learned her archery skills Right now I have red and blue Rein on my Aether Raids defense team and they're both wearing explorer hats from the last Forging Bonds, I think the biggest problem with getting another one is that I don't have enough hats to go around

10 bucks says Loki is totally pulling a Melisandre and is secretly an old hag in disguise

While most people don't seem to have a 5th defender this season, I expect that will no longer be true next season, so I would definitely buy another attacker, especially if you don't have an offensive Panic Manor

I think they need to make it so you don't need to fight every day to maximize your rewards. Seriously considering going full slacker and just playing 5 times a week for the dailies...but then my base will take forever to build up...but playing every day takes so much time....blarghhhhhhh

Decided to invest in 5th defender instead of another attacker. First defense of the day, completely wiped out opponent's entire team. Think it was the right call, fought 3 battles so far and none of them had a 5th on defense so it was just business as usual for my 4 man raid group. Maybe that will change when people wake up and get a chance to spend their stones?

@mcsilas I was dubious about the utility of the healing tower on offense but it's actually been useful on occasion when I need to stall an enemy unit until I can get the pots. I would just plop down a hero who can't retaliate near the healing tower and let them get attacked every turn while being healed. It still kind of sucks though and personally I think a 5th team member is a way better use of stones, especially since it'll still be useful after this season is over.

@Azuris :O 5360 well done congrats! seriously struggling whether to buy the 5th offense or defense slot. On one hand my offense hasn't needed the help so far whereas my defense might, but on the other hand if I suddenly start losing battles or running out of time because everyone invested in a 5th defender that would suck...but if everyone thought like that and invested in 5th attacker it would be useless for me to do so as well...prisoners dilemma strikes again edit: does anyone have the 5th defense slot and can confirm you don't lose an extra 20 lift from defensive failure if you have an extra person?

^Was the opposite for me, had exactly enough aether for one more match and ended the season at 0 aether. Apparently I miscalculated, I thought I would be short 4 aether so I considered not going for the pots in the penultimate match, went for them anyway as a stupidity failsafe (ALWAYS HAVE A MATH STUPIDITY FAILSAFE) and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. Incidentally, for my last fight I finally found someone who had 5 defenders, was a fun battle!
