I think that could be cool, I could also see getting to pick promoted troops after awhile. Like the Great Knights sent out by Edelgard in the trailer -

Sorry for replying to an older post. I think you get to pick what small army of troops you have, like maybe lance users with a Thief for example -
Dorothea should be cannon with Gauntlets lol
