Homophobia is a term in use today that much transcends this sort of etymological deconstruction of the word as being simply a "fear" of homosexuals. This is the sort of thing that led to some of the most brash homophobes I know rejecting the label because "hey, I ain't afraid of faggots". People that insist that homophobia must only mean a fear are people that really dislike or distrust homosexuals but are not interested in being tagged with a hater label.

Homophobes, just like racists, aren't only those extremely harrassing or vocal about it. If you hold prejudices of any kind towards homosexual people, you likely are a homophobe to me. You can leave homosexuals alone, even have them as friends and support their choices while still being a homophobe. I'd consider believing homosexuality is a sin to be homophobic.

I agree with you on substitutes entirely but consider Layla an exception because she is a dancer and IS releases those as premium units regardless of their placement in popularity polls (both Silvia and Lene placed horribly in CYL before their release). She even has her own Cipher card. Daisy will never be in Heroes.

Patty’s main competition is probably Altenna and Larcei and that’s pretty stiff. I think both of them will be prioritized over her. There are usually enough spots for 3 girls though, at which point I’d say she might have the edge over Lana & Fee. I’d say Tinne or Layla, the substitute dancer , might be the actual ones she’ll compete with.

Yeah I don’t see Patty ever be brought in through pure CYL lobbying like Jill will. There are a lot more reasons to be concerned about Patty making it in than Jill. My personal obsession is Bastian and I don’t have great hopes in seeing him in Heroes.

Jill is basically a lock for farfetched heroes 3. Just have a little more patience and start to think about the next character to obsess over.

Yeah but that's just the thing. I am much more interested in Mythic banners, because they introduce actual new characters, versus the legendary banners that generally only introduce alternates. So it might just be a long while before space frees up for Mythics from the old games.

Three characters is still a lot considering they alternate between legendary and mythic and release a mythic only every two months. I'm not even sure if that leaves much room to space them out.

That's kind of have always been the case with Fire Emblem characters before. It was either this or they had no personality at all.

I don't dislike OCs but yeah I was hoping for something other than Thrasir and now I have low expectations for the next Mythic banner since Lif is probably going to end up on it. This is just not what I envision mythic heroes to be.

Nobody ever died on any of my three runs (that I couldn't fix with Pulse), one on hard mode, and didn't even need to rely much on Divine Pulse. I resetted a map once and that was because one of the NPC villagers died, had no one to reach him and I wanted them all to survive. Three Houses is the easiest FE game there is.
