What do you mean unable? You mean you can enter the level and attack the sage?

The enemy turn had just ended, the Sage and 2 mages spawned on the left and that's when I got the error. Attached are the save game and a save I made after the error. The Last Promise7.sg1 The Last Promise.sa1 Edit: Actually you can see very briefly when resuming the game that the enemies spawn first, error is not when immediately loading the map.

I'm looking for some help. I'm playing through FE: The Last Promise, at chapter 13ish. I'm towards the end of the chapter when this error appeared: "Unsupported BIOS function 9d called from 08ba1454. A BIOS file is needed in order to get correct behaviour." The game continues to "run" (sprites move), but the cursor has disappeared and none of the buttons are responsive. When I close out of VBA and run the game it goes fine until I resume the chapter and then I get the problem immediately. Anyone know what caused this, or how to fix it?

Yes, I've deleted and re-downloaded the rom multiple times. Although it's downloading pretty much instantly now, which is a little strange. Keep in mind before the patch the normal game plays fine. Help please.

Ok, so I extracted and got the ups file, and after patching the rom with it, vba will stop supporting the file type. It makes no sense.

Because the patch needs to be usp, not rar.

So I'm having a problem applying or using a patch with NUPS. I just downloaded "1235 - Fire Emblem (U)(Venom)" as my rom. This hack as a patch "Dream of Five V4 Release.rar" Create a new ups file with the rom as the original file and the hack as the edit name it "fo5" so I have my .ups file. Patch is successful. Use the rom as the file to patch the fo5.usp as the .usp file. hit "patch" and it says it has been done. But when I open vba and try to open the file it says it's unsupported and won't work. What am I doing wrong here?
