    Rashomon was decidedly tougher than anything back then yeah. I remember its tough enough that 2 Waver can be somewhat shaky when i run it - i mostly used Gil with taunter and Waver lol. Mash v3 is also such a crazy jump over Mash v2(5% def buff, 2000 damage cut, Full Power Lord Camelot NP3) and its a big thing everyone have now that changes it a lot

    This is where you'd refer to the actual numbers. Basically, while Rama's NP seems strong in context, his actual buff is just 17% ATK buff Charisma Pre Multiplier of Raid CE, Sitting at 39968*, he's not much stronger than Okita 43858 and this is at the time of Original Ibaraki run where Rama didn't have Merlin to rely on - only Nightingale. Nitingale's good, but Ibaraki isn't where she shines unless you have hax resource to enable her Multiplicative is often misleading because people heard the word and go "OH ITS AWESOME" when in reality its all about working the actual numbers and Rama vs Ibaraki is one of those case - Rama is fairly strong if you said he's as strong as an SSR at best if her NP1 at which point you get a valid reasoning to say "why not use SSR *simplified to 40.000 Rama would do 64000 with Waver to Okita 68000. Consider the former have way worse NP recursion, 2/2/1 hit and Okita's better. Back then Rasho's hard enough to make you want to go like this unless you run the Diarmuid/Cu/Taunt composition

    Yeah Crit 2x global mods still works, im not neccesarily saying that crit sucks here and mostly talking about the sort of "disparity" between how powerful optimized crits looks out of this kind of event vs in this kind of event Like uh.... you need something dumb like Kiara to make Crit outside to make it feels like what they were in Ibaraki and thats with the former having damage down + no class counter. The relevant pointer here is more that Rama isn't that hot here back then, but Merlin having Buster buff saved him big time
  5. Marth in Shadow Dragon is honestly a much stronger character than many other Lord in the series. Let alone Linde(does jackshit.txt) and Minerva(not exactly in the best position) You know who actually would be a interesting second Lord to round out Marth? Hardin. Because Mystery makes SUCH a big deal out of having Marth moving on from the boy that is guided by Hardin, but then we get him doing just as jackshit in Shadow Dragon

    Note that critical esque set ups are actually kinda weaker in these kind of event. The enemy is balanced around the damage boosting CE, but critical stacks additively with those. Stuff like Jalter one shotting wasn't so much Merlin crits being broken(100% Crit damage buff is around 20% damage boost) and more because Jalter had gigantic damage and Buster buff stacks multiplicatively Althought since your a rerunner you should be able to do it much easier with pre run CE just be ready to log those progression mission this time around

    So uh Falchion in 1 ability is to negate direct as in (1 range) attack right? except Manaketes So this is how it works If you initiates(obviously on close range) the enemy won't counter regardless of their attack range. this means, in theory had Falchion can attack on range, this effect won't activate If your opponent can't attack on 2 range, they'd ignore Marth outright. The way this works is the enemy aknowledge "oh i can't do damage to Marth" so they do the ussual and ignores him. This is the same as when you have too much defense and they didn't bother(you can test this easilly with the 999 defense Bantu trick) Otherwise it works "normally" So in essence its a fuck you button towards direct combat that didn;t involve manakete. And.... is also worse than it sounds because the big enemy if you cheese the final chapter is the 2 Manakete bodyguard. If you play normally? the only one that can do anything to Marth is the Woodshooter and some mages

    Wait you can Hammene Warp? I don't disagree with your list much considering the criteria, but honestly Wendell should be one of the Top Tier if Merric is one. He performed near identical to Merric thanks to 14 speed, and Merric didn't promote until super late into the game. And as you said stats defficiency can be fixed with Boosters anyway, and Merric is barely able to beat Wendell stats because of the absurd base of Bishop class Falchion does indeed works by making iirc melee attacker ignores you. Its cute for the final chapter but you do have ballista to deal with still

    The pegasus knights were fairly risque such is the power of 90s anime. Honestly its nothing on FGO standard, but FE designs have been fairly fanservicey since day 1 even if Awakening took it on forefront while Fates finally cranked it up

    I personally kinda think Minerva not being that good at Political stuff make a bit of a sense, but then again my argument about it(shes a merc) would got dismissed completely since then you have Hardin being perfect for no reason I don't think Gharnef and Medeus return makes little sense as a whole, my entire issue with them is tied to ironically the game's main theme: since its all about Marth and Hardin and the former breaking his "reliance" on Hardin, the dragon subplot didn't really go too far beyond a thematic potrayal of Marth's manning up and the Gharnef Medeus section feels very tacked on

    Believe it or not, its actually a legit build. Most unit you'd want to bother sweeping didn't have more than 34 speed. For example Julia is 26, The reason you didn't go +SPD is because its still Reinhardt. Reinhardt operates best with +ATK and water sweep didn't really ruin his offense because he almost never double to begin with. I think this is one of the more misunderstood aspect about Sweep skills. You DONT want to have too much speed for sweep B slot since that means you waste your doubling, only enough for what you want to bypass. If your opponent have higher speed than 34, chances are you could probably nuke it out of existence with Dire Thunder to begin with(at +0 area). Its the same as why back then the "panic ploy number" is 40. Yes 40 Hp did not hit everyone. But 40 Hp hits the entire Horse Emblem crew, and Fly Camilla. Thats ALL you need Panic Ploy for and HP is a shit stats you don't want more of in some ways

    What happen when we took the best game in the series by a mile landslide of all landslide in landslide history and remake it? Well some things got worse, some things got better, except FE3 is still so freaking good that FE1+2 ended up being really good too Is basically my entire thoughts on it. I still hate they basically simplified Chiki, understandable as it is, since FE3 Chiki is the funnest, most unique implementation of Manakete that no other game ever manage to even match even half of it.
