Thanks for the answers. to clarify, though, I'm not interested in DLC for cheesing the game, but rather ones that offer lore/cool maps to play.

Since the 3DS eshop will be shutting down soon, I really need to get the good DLC for those two games, as I love them, but never actually got the DLC. So, what do people consider the must haves?

I finally managed to beat this. Chapter 26 was a pain in the ass, and it also took me a while to figure out chapter 27, since I didn't realize I could deploy units in the upper part of the map initially. This was a very challenging run, though I'd be lying if I said I still remember most of what I did in the beginning, since it's been so long. I just know that the pegasus knight talent was definitely worth it, as Falcon Knight Silas was my MVP. Kaze was a very good combat unit, and Nyx also helped despite not seeing much combat. Jakob fell off really hard, but at least was still a 8 move shelter bot. Charlotte was mostly Kaze's pair up, but I really messed up by not getting her to level 5 on one of the free paralogues, Rally Strength would have been a great help. Anyway, my final turncount was 129 turns Here's what I did on the final chapters:

I personaly think RD's map design is godawful Geoffrey's Charge, From Pain Awakening and One Survives have Revelation tier gimmicks, for exemple. And many (most?) other maps incentivize you to throw an OP unit with a 1-2 range weapon in the middle of it and watch him/her destroy everything on its path. And then you have the abundance of annoying Green/Yellow units who don't change the outcome of the game at all but are there only to make a slow game even slower. wow, it's been a long time how have you been?

I agree, it's so boring compared to AM and CF. Like, it feels as if no one from the aliance actually cares about the war, there are no stakes at all. This game would still be the same without Claude and the Alliance existing, they're just there... Then they locked a few big secrets and Nemesis to VW, had them being revealed out of nowhere and thought the route was good enough. This makes the route feel simultaneously rushed and too long. If I could, I'd rework this game into having only two routes, the Church/Dimitri route and the Edelgard route. At the very least, they should have swaped the SS and VW final bosses, as it makes no sense to fight Rhea in SS (The dragon madness thing is BS) nor it makes any sense for Nemesis to appear for Claude. Claude fighting Rhea makes total sense for his end goal, after all.
