  1. This is actually really cool, I recognize some of those tiles, haha... Actually, I updated the mountains and created some indoor tiles but never got to posting them. https://imgur.com/a/drST0
  2. Some observations: -Kaga took the seemingly unnecessary effort to replace the default blue and red movement/attack range indicators with his own. The original indicators were animated, these new ones look static. He also changed the cursor. -The shadow's colour is used to differentiate between player, ally and enemy units. It's kinda hard to see. -The castle gate where the boss sits on only gives 10 evasion, the dead trees give 15. -I spot our female axe user on the lower left of the map. -Stats are pretty low. Our promoted mage (high mage?) has only 29 HP, 11 speed, 7 defense and 6 resistance. Or maybe he's actually unpromoted, in which case stats are pretty high. Strength and skill are green, I assume because they are buffed by his Hellfire tome and not because they are capped. -He has 27 attack and 14 magic, so his Hellfire tome has 13 might. I guess the low stats will be backed up by powerful personal weapons like in FE5. -He has a critical of 19, and 19 skill. Each point of skill seems to provide one percent critical rate. -He has an attack speed of 3 and evasion of 6. It seems the Hellfire tome is quite heavy, and luck does not increase evasion. -He has 4 luck and 4 critical dodge. Not surprising.
  3. A new blog post by Kaga: http://zeeksweb.blog120.fc2.com/blog-entry-100.html That's a really huge enemy army. I don't think even FE4 had you fighting 64 enemies at a time. Found the source of the non-RTP tilesets he's using. It's by Nekura: http://nekuramap.blog.fc2.com/
  4. CC BY-SA 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ You can modify, but I will feed any changes I like back into the tileset for my own use. Question: does FEXNA support tileset size larger than 16x16? Can the UI be modified to match the obviously higher resolution that would be required?
  5. Feel free to use it. I am looking at licenses and will probably use CC-BY-SA as the license. I'll be making indoor tiles for sure; can't have a Fire Emblem game without 'em. Snow and lava tiles (and ship tiles) are lower priority l'll get there eventually I hope. For now you can download a complete set of tiles from http://d.hatena.ne.jp/JAPANweb/ which covers everything. Neuschwanstein colours:
  6. Thanks! If it's the grid you're talking about, I have since reduced the grid's visibility: I wouldn't recommend using all four ground tiles in the same area, that area is to showcase the various ground transitions. Normal usage would be more like the paths on the west side. If anything, I am missing diagonal "beach waves" to fill in the corners where the beach and water meet.
  7. Because SRPG Studio's default tileset is ugly, I am building a new 32x32 tileset in a style similar to Thracia and the GBA games. Here is a crude map I threw together to showcase the features currently included in the tileset: Mountains Rivers Cliffs Animated water Forests Four different types of open ground [spoiler=The map running in SRPG studio, Large gif] More to come: houses, villages, castles, etc. 32x32FETileset.zip
