  1. Now here me out on this one guys! I acknowledge that Camilla is Haar: Conquest Edition, but Elise has potential to be on her level overall in terms of utility. I’ve been replaying Conquest recently and found myself thinking that Cam and Elise are comparable in terms of power level; albeit that they fulfill two entirely different roles, they are both overwhelmingly the best at them and are both available for most of the Conquest route. What do you guys think?
  2. Short story shorter: I'm borrowing my cousin's copy of Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest for a few months (her "borrowing" my copy of Kid Icarus: Uprising for five years may or may not have anything to do with it), and I'm curious if there are any general tips or advice I should know before diving in. For reference, I have completed ironman runs of Awakening on both the Normal and Hard difficulties (and the first Normal run was technically a no-grinding run, even if in truth I did it four times. To be fair, two of them were getting to shops that I wanted to buy from, and another was to test out support facts from the site), as well as Echoes on Normal and Hard (does it count as an ironman if everyone survived and I never resetted, but still used the turnwheel?). I've also tried Mystery of the Emblem, Blazing Sword, and Sacred Stones, but my emulator crapping out prevented me from getting far in any of them. I have experience with this series, but I'm not all that knowledgeable on the specifics of what Fates does differently. I know that they changed how pair-up works, the reclassing system is expanded upon, there are still children, and weapons don't have durability but instead have drawbacks, but other than that I know next to nothing about Fates. Also, is there anything I should brace myself in regards to the story, supports, and characters? I don't want spoilers, but I know that Fates is infamous for its... let's say lackluster story, and I want to know what to prepare myself for. This is coming from the guy that thought that Awakenings story was alright (personally believe it's over-hated, but at the end of the day it's merely average) and that its cast and supports are underrated (although I can understand why some don't feel/think the same way). I also liked Echoes plot (although I will also be among the first to admit that it is very, very flawed) and enjoyed the characters. I admit I don't have the highest hopes with Fates in the writing department, but I'm also going to decide for myself how good or bad its quality is. Thanks in advance!
  3. I was considering running either a Dark mage, master ninja, mechanist, paladin, archer, cavalier, dread fighter or one of the knight(?) classes. I really have no idea; first file was a priestess with magic boon and luck or skill bane, it was decent as a support. For ref; female Corrin here!
  4. Laslow is my favorite Fire Emblem character, and I've been inspired to a solo run of Conquest with him (paired up with his S rank partner my avatar of course), as soon as you recruit him in chapter 12. I have only beaten Conquest normally on normal mode, but I am willing to try hard; I refuse to do lunatic. I will give Laslow every permanent stat-boosting item I can give him, and maybe use tonics in battle if necessary. Here are things I need to consider and could use suggestions on before I begin. What class should Laslow be in? I'm willing to use heart, partner, and friendship seals. What class should my avatar be in? What should my avatar's boon and bane be? At what level should I promote Laslow? I appreciate the help.
  5. Basically what happens when the likes of Mortis Ghost and Claude Higgins get their hands on Fire Emblem Fates. So this is a fangame, done in RPG Maker XP, so it will not have the same mechanics as Fire Emblem Fates. In fact, it will have very similar mechanics to OFF by Mortis Ghost (along with its own fangames, including UNKNOWN). But it is based off Fire Emblem Fates and pretty well 99% of the content is Fire Emblem Fates, even if portrayed differently (e.g. not the official resources). Okay so what happens is there is a Revelation timeline, created over a Conquest timeline but then Conquest tries to take over (hence the creepypasta-esque name Conquest.exe) and a huge struggle ensues. Like UNKNOWN, there will be multiple endings, based on the player's actions and the methods to get them will be secret (meaning the game itself won't give you hints, you'll have to find out for yourself or ask others how to get all the endings). It's going to be incredibly dark and stuff. It centres around the Avatar and her (headcanon) married family - Ryoma, Kana and Shiro and their determination to keep the timeline stable and protect it from characters from the Conquest timeline (but of course the other characters from the Rev. timeline will be assisting). Then along comes a Puppeteer... The Puppeteer decides to help the Rev!Characters out (if you don't want to help them out, then don't play at all, it's that simple) but evil ensues. So yeah, take care out there, my friends, and- YXZvaWQgc2VwcHVrdQ==
  6. I wanted to share this 3-part orchestral suite I wrote with those that might be interested. Each movement features a different game (I. Birthright, II. Conquest, III. Revelation) and totals to around 27 minutes of orchestrated and arranged Fire Emblem music. Had a blast making these over the course of this last year, and hopefully you all will enjoy them as much as I do. Given that, I appreciate comments as they are a good source of motivation and if you like my stuff, feel free to follow me! I plan to keep releasing Fire Emblem orchestral music over time (as well as a bunch of other Nintendo arrangements) :D
  7. Hi, I am new to this forum aso please be kind. My first Fire emblem was path of radiance which I hold very dear to my heart, also I have been playing recently the mobile game but I have been wanting to play Fates. I am about to play FE fates "conquest" for the first time and I wanted to know if it's possible to restore some of it's cut content such as swimsuits, skin ship etc.. Dialogue its not really necessary since it seems more trouble than it's worth. I was also thinking that perhaps it would be easier for me to just purchase a japanese version and look for an english patch? "I have seen many youtube videos of people playing it that way" In short I have no idea about hacking 3ds n stuff. What would be the easiest approach for this? Again thank you for your time.
  8. I really enjoy FE:A Lunatic, so I'm wondering if Conquest Lunatic would be too.
  9. Chapter 20 can go die in a ditch somewhere in FE hell
  10. Well, today I got some rare free time, and decided to try playing Fates again after about a year hiatus. I thought I'd limit myself by trying an Ironman run. The Rules: 1: We will be playing on Lunatic/Classic 2: We will not reset if a unit dies. If my Corrin dies, I reserve the right to try again, or this might be a very short run. 3: No DLC grinding for XP or gold. Grinding supports in castle battles is okay. 4: I will limit myself to one "bought" skill per unit 5: No Bond units will be used, but "Captured" units are okay. 6: We will be starting after the route split. 7: Children paralogs will be played, if available, and children units are okay to use. 8: I will be skipping over most of the story for this LP, since it's more about seeing how well badly I do. 9: To make things interesting, I will let the audience pick who my Corrin will wed in holy matrimony. 10: If I forgot any rules, I reserve the right to add more rules. I've already married Jakob and Kaze in past playthroughs, so I prefer to try someone different, but we'll see how it goes. If the top choice dies before we can consummate the marriage, I'll try to pick the next top available choice. If anyone wants to visit my castle during this glorious campaign, my address is 05107-66614-62592-54117. Feedback and comments are always welcome! For Marriages and Stuff Summary as of Page 24
  11. Hinoka survived the war and wrestles with guilt as much as her duties as Hoshido’s Queen. Every day is a battle despite the supposed ‘peace’ and when the chance to strike at Nohr’s heart arises, she gives into temptation. Will the cycle of suffering continue, or can it be broken? Bridging The Sky ✦ a Hinoka/Marx fanfic Game: Fire Emblem Fates (post-Conquest) Rating: Teen+ Character(s): Hinoka, Sakura, Marx (most cast mentioned) Tag(s): survivor’s guilt, PTSD, hurt/comfort, politics, seduction, enemies to lovers, bittersweet ending, worldbuilding, and whump chapter 1 ✦ “Swallowing Sundown” chapter 2 ✦ "Stars Burning Underwater" chapter 3 ✦ "Dreaming Mortals and Gods Alike" chapter 4 ✦ "Woman of a Thousand Summers Yep, I started another multi-chapter fic. I'm trying to keep it on the shorter end, but there's some canon plotholes I'm itching to fill.
  12. So I decided to spice things up a bit and do a sword only run of conquest on lunatic, hard is significantly easier for this run which is why opted for this. I will make somewhat of a mini guide as I go through the run, as of writing this I am on chapter 18. Please feel free to give feedback and share your experience as I am by no means an expert at the game. Rules: No DLC (Path bonuses are okay) All attacking units must use swords (guard stance w/ a non sword wielding class is okay, as well as the use of healers and Azura with no weapons) No use of online features (castles battles, bonuses, etc...) Run begins on chapter 6 Throughout my trial runs there are a few things that I found make the run easier. First is that Male Corrin is the way to go as Felicia's personal skill and demoiselle makes chapter 7 much easier Having speed as Corrin's boon and the talent of samurai are very useful (personally I would not reclass Corrin until he gets Draconic Hex) USE FELICIA!!! She is probably the best unit for most of the run, so reclass her to a Hero in Chapter 8 ASAP Use your dread scrolls! It is very difficult to do this run without them on lunatic, I have yet to come up with a way to beat chapter 10 without using them So onto the chapters Chapter 6: Embrace The Dark This chapter is fairly straight forward. Have Camilla activate the dragon vein then move Xander to her right. Then pair Felicia with Elise and move her above Xander then separate them , now he gets the bonus of Lily's poise, Rose's Thorns and Demoiselle Kill Ryoma with Xander, do not worry about the other as Ryoma will only attack Xander Use Corrin and Xander to take care of Takumi and Hinoka Use Xander to kill Yukimura and you are done Chapter 7: A Dragon's Decree Things to do before starting: make a staff/weapon store; get path bonuses; use boots (optional); sell iron dagger, buy at least one vulnerary if you used the one form the tutorial chapters This chapter is pretty much a race to kill as many faceless per turn as possible. Having a speed oriented Corrin is very useful here as it allows him to reliably double the faceless, making this chapter way easier. Also resist the urge to make Felicia a dreadfighter, you will regret it later on. Pair up Felicia and Corrin and move them to the left. Separate them so that Corrin is able to be hit by both Faceless Pair them back up and move Corrin towards the forrest so that he can be hit by all the Faceless except for the guard stance ones and use a vulnerary Elise and Silas should arrive on turn 3. Pair them up and then separate them below the northern most woods tile. Move Corrin in place to be hit by the guard stance Faceless, the others should have be one rounded. Move Corrin as far back as possible while still being able to be hit by the last faceless and separate him from Felicia. Have Silas finish of the faceless that attacked him. Pair up Arthur and Effie and move them as close to Silas as possible. Move Arthur towards the bridge and them move Corrin next to him to block the path. Have Felicia heal Corrin and then move Silas behind the blockade. Have Elise heal Silas. Have Silas transfer Effie to him and move Arthur as far back as possible. Heal Corrin with Felicia. At this point Corrin and Silas should be blocking the bridge in a staggered pattern with Felicia behind Corrin and Elise behind Silas. Kill the seal speed faceless with Corrin and the other with Silas, do not break position though. Heal as needed Kill the last faceless with Silas and move Felicia and Corrin back so that he is next to Silas. Enjoy your one turn of no fighting and top off Corrin's and Silas' health From this point just defend and heal top of their health, do not initiate battle with the boss faceless until he can be reliably one shot More to come later~

  14. I personally think that Hoshido is more moral in values, in my opinion, because of how they want peace. That's just my view of it.
  15. I already know (and did) the Before Awakening DLC, but are there many other options out of there? I had a lot of random encounters available to me on Birthright, but since I don't have as many grinding options on Conquest, how else do I gain experience other than the going through the main story?
  16. I'm becoming so frustrated with this chapter that I had to take a break from Conquest for a little while. I don't know how I'm supposed to beat this, does anyone have any tips?
  17. So I've been looking everywhere for a Beruka with Lancefaire and I was wondering if anyone can put their castle address with one because It dawned on me how hard it is to just find lancefaire on a Beruka. Just need that one skill for her wyvern lord form.
  18. I really want canon haired Soleil but I have no clue who to pair her up with to get pink hair besides the female avatar but I don't think I'll enjoy playing through Conquest/Revelations with a pink haired Kamui. pls help
  19. Happy Belated Christmas Everyone! I am creating a database of captured generic units in FE Fates Conquest that I can use for future playthroughs (maybe an all captured/generics run in the future). Unlike Birthright and Revelations, generic units in Conquest can possess skills outside their base class set. Despite the having smaller skill pools then your regular army, these captured units come with boosted bases stats on Hard/Lunatic modes and increased weapon ranks in their promoted classes, which eliminates the dreaded E-rank weapon grind. Some of them might end up being some of the best units in your army (e.g. Haitaka, Kumagera, Rallyman). So far I have captured 25 units and I am on Chapter 22 of Conquest Hard Mode. Here is what I have so far: Units will be listed using the following format: Chapter XX - Mode - Name (if unique boss), Class w/ Skills upon capture Chapter 09 - Hard - Haitaka, Spear Fighter w/ Rally Defense, Strong Riposte Chapter 13 - Hard - Wyvern Rider w/ Quick Draw Chapter 13 - Hard - Diviner w/ Malefic Aura Chapter 14 - Hard - Kumagera, Oni Chieftain w/ Darting Blow, Certain Blow, Counter Magic Chapter 14 - Hard - Archer w/ Poison Strike Chapter 16 - Hard - Sorcerer w/ Inspiration Chapter 16 - Hard - Hero w/ Armored Blow Chapter 16 - Hard - Adventurer w/ Seal Strength Chapter 17 - Hard - Samurai w/ Quick Draw, Locktouch Chapter 17 - Hard - Shrine Maiden w/ Locktouch Chapter 17 - Hard - Master Ninja w/ Movement +1, Locktouch, Poison Strike Chapter 18 - Hard - Bow Knight w/ Quick Draw Chapter 18 - Hard - General w/ Warding Blow, Wary Fighter Chapter 20 - Hard - Great Master w/ Seal Speed Chapter 20 - Hard - Priestess w/ Lunge Chapter 20 - Hard - Spear Master w/ Renewal Chapter 20 - Hard - Falcon Knight w/ Armored Blow (For Paralogues, class and stats of enemies depend on your progress in the game at the time you start the paralogue. I completed all these chapters before I started Chapter 18, so these enemies will be in their base class) Paralogue 16 - Hard - Fighter w/ Certain Blow Paralogue 16 - Hard - Cavalier w/ Trample Paralogue 16 - Hard - Gazak, Fighter w/ Pavise, Certain Blow, Good Fortune Paralogue 20 - Hard - Wyvern Rider w/ Darting Blow Paralogue 20 - Hard - Senno, Apothecary w/ Lucky 7, Seal Magic, Potent Potion Paralogue 21 - Hard - Outlaw w/ Poison Stike Paralogue 21 - Hard - Zhara, Mercenary w/ Coutermagic, Pass, Sol Paralogue 22 - Hard - Knight w/ Inspiration, Wary Fighter, Armored Blow Feel free to help me by contributing units that you have captured using the specified format. I will update my list as I progress further into the game. Happy Hunting.
  20. Hello everyone! I was just wondering how many still prefer Fates over Echoes, or how many of you at least play Fates on a regular basis. I used to be an avid player- but not once have I had an active friends list on my 3ds (i have one registered friend), let alone a decent group of people actively visiting my castle and exchanging recources with me on Fates in particular. Keep in mind having people on your friends list allows you to see them separately from other fates players by choosing to visit their castle via friends list. I will give my friend code as well as my castle address. (Maybe you only need my friend code) After you add me, feel free to post yours here so everyone else on this post can exchange info! Friend Code (add this and see if it puts my castle in your friends tab): 3025-0593-7620 If that doesnt allow you to see my castle for some reason, heres my castle address: 09990-39058-67245-10383 It would also be nice if we could try to create as many bond units as possible. Also, i started a new conquest save and im on ch. 8. However, im no newbie at FE. Feel free to add!
  21. Seriously, Sakura being the final boss of Conquest is just very fucking lame. (I don't own this image, don't sue me.)
  22. Hello! This is my first post to this site! Ok, so I’m not the best at explaining things but here goes...the holiday season is upon us in the US, and I wanted to give my best bud my physical copy of Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright (since he always watches me play it) so that I could buy Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest for myself (since I kinda regret not picking that first, for irl reasons). I already bought Conquest and Revelation as DLC for the Birthright cartridge. Is there a way I could put them both on an SD card and give that and Birthright to him so that he’ll have all 3 versions on his 2DS? Or will he be forced to rebuy them (if he wanted to play the other routes) and I can just give him an eShop gift card with it instead? I really hope I explained that clearly, really super sorry if I didn’t! ALSO, since I’ll be getting a physical copy of Conquest, is it posible I can still retain my DLC of Revelation on my 3DS if its still on the SD card, or will I be forced to rebuy that too? Again, sorry if I missed any details or said something confusing! Feel free to ask me to clarify any points, and thank you for taking the time to read and help me!
  23. Hello everyone. I am new to the forums. I have looked around the forums for a little while now and finally decided to join. I have previously played and beaten Fates: Conquest on Normal/Casual because I valued my sanity enough to not play it on a harder difficulty. I am playing an on again, off again file on Hard/Classic. I am going to avoid using DLC, but I would like advice on which units are good ones to Kidnap. I know there are other threads that people have used in the past for advice on this game, but if you have more advice, feel free to add. However, primarily I am just wondering what are some good units to Kidnap to use for my army's benefit. For reference's sake, I am currently on Chapter 10, and I have captured Haitaka. Thanks, and I look forward to talking with you all in the future.
  24. I'm pretty sure everyone in this forum knows that Corrin is a lacklustre protagonist. This was disappointing as when i first saw the fates trailers, they fleshed him/her (your preference) out as pretty bad-ass (class wise and story wise). So, what changes do we need to make to Corrin to make him a semi-competent lord?
