  1. Hello there! Was wondering if someone could make/dirct me to midi files (or orchestral remixes) of the following fe7 songs. The midi files in FEshrine aren't working: Loyalty: Hector's theme Triumph In the shadow of triumph Stratagem Light to tomorrow Main theme: arrangement (epilogue remix) Shocking truth II The Grieving Heart Respite in Battle Shadow Approaches Dragon's Gate I+II Land of Swirling Sands The Archsage Athos Blessing of the 8 Generals I + II The Eight Generals The Cogs of Fate Final Farewell Merlinus Eyes of Sorrow Legend of Athos Treasured Hope Thanks in advance!
  2. Hi there, so I have been hacking FE2 with the few modules I have and I would like to ask whether these 2 modules exist, specifically: I need modules on a custom spell set editor(so Alm can learn some spells and Robin can learn something other than just Excalibur) and a drop rate editor, so that angel rings could be dropped at a 1/128 rate instead of 1/9001 rate for example. Does such modules exist, or do I have to request for someone to make said modules? Thanks.
  3. I just thought of it, what with a lot of people debating who Chrom should marry that I've read recently, that Chrom and the Avatar (either female or male) are actually soulmates. Before you jump to conclusions, I say soulmates in its truest definition: two people ideally suited to one another as either close friends or romantic partners. This would make sense as to why Chrom comes to trust the Avatar so intrinsically. It also lays to waste the "debate" of who he's supposed to be with, as whilst the avatar remains Chrom's soulmate (whether they maintain a platonic relationship, or a romantic one) this leaves the position of Chrom's "true love" open to player interpretation (or as the game suggests, Sumia). You could argue the game supports this idea: they claim to be two halves of one whole. Two halves of one soul, maybe? I haven't had too much time to think it through entirely, so I was just wondering what you guys thought, and if there was any more evidence to support/discredit this theory.
  4. I just went through my old Disney track list on Spotify, and I just brainstormed for some reason how a fanmade animated scene with Fire Emblem Awakening Characters singing the songs would look. so here are some I figured out would make sense: I'll make a man out of you (Mulan) = Chrom as Li Sheng, Cordelia as Mulan and Kellan, Gregor and Donnel as those other comical characters. Also, rename the song to "Somehow I'll make Support S with you" (I wish) :P Let it go (Frozen) = Maribelle as Elsa, just imagine her through a class change with a Second Seal to a Sage (that perfect girl is gone!). Zero to Hero (Hercules) = Frederick as Hercules, because we all know how much of a hero he is in Lunatic Mode's first 4 chapters :) Gimme your ideas!
  5. I was wondering what characters everyone liked from the different Fire Emblem games. This is something I've been thinking about for a while, and I think I've finally come to a conclusion about my favourite character from each game. I'm also going to count remakes as the same as the original, for simplicities sake (unless they're FE11/12 exclusive, such as Horace or Frey). FE1/11: Merric. Merric is the character that really sold me on mages, but it wasn't just because of his stats. The head canon I created for him with Elice also helped. His magic wasn't very high compared to other games, but the res stat for this game's enemy units was also incredibly low. FE2: "Zeke." I'm not saying he's Camus with amnesia or anything, but he's totally Camus with amnesia. He's Camus. Nuff said. FE3/12: Nabarl. Nabarl is the character that got me into loving the swordmaster characters. His stats also didn't hurt x) He was so mysterious, and I ended up creating so much head canon for him. (Looking at you, Feena) FE4: Gen 1, so totally Lewyn/Levin. He is my favourite character of all time in Fire Emblem for his wit alone, but his incredible stats don't hurt either. Gen 2: Aless/Ares. He was my second gen game-breaker, along with Ced. Aless/Ares made me realize why we hardly ever get playable characters like Camus: it would be way too easy in any other game if their stats and growths lived up to their lore. FE5: Mareeta. Mareeta overcomes some of the worst things, including a cursed sword that eventually becomes her personal weapon of world domination. FE6: Karel, because of his character development from the following game. That, and he's the only character guaranteed to get a perfect level up, to my knowledge. FE6 didn't really have a lot of great characters for me, personally. FE7: Hector! Hector is tied with Ephraim for my favourite lord, and Hector was such a change for me on the average lord. I don't always agree with Hector's rash decisions, but the way he, Lyn, and Eliwood contrasted was really cool to see. FE8: This one was one of the harder ones to pick, because there wasn't a single character that I disliked. Unfortunately, I have to make a call on it. Joshua's personality was awesome, Gilliam was a hard-hitting tank, Franz was a mobile tank, Ross had absurd strength, and Ewan grew into a beast from great growths. However, Ephraim capitalized on all of this to some degree, which is why I'm going to choose him, even though I have so many other favourites. FE9: Soren. All hail the rightful King of Daein! Soren is pretty much a carbon copy of my best friend, and he's a wind mage to boot (See a pattern?). Soren has been one of my best units on each of my FE9 playthroughs, so I can't imagine the game without that moody mage. FE10: Radiant Dawn didn't have very much character development, unless they were some of the main cast of the previous game or this one. All of the other units get about two lines of dialogue (No real support). However, I'm going to choose Prince Pelleas. Pelleas sacrifices everything for his people on the first RD playthrough. Even though he wasn't royal blood, he showed the resolve of a true ruler. FE13: Awakening had a lot of characters that I really liked, but some stood out above them all. My favourite from gen 1 is Tharja with Henry and Lon'qu tied for second. Tharja was a beastly unit with an awesome personality, and Noire is incredible when Lon'qu is her dad. My gen 2 pick is Severa. Even though Gerome is Batman and Noire is hilarious, Severa was a beast on my playthrough. I paired Cordelia with Gregor, so her stats were awesome, but I also liked how her drive came from a passion to get out of her parent's shadow. I could totally empathize with the feeling of not living up to a parent, so Severa became one of the characters that I could relate to. You guys don't have to give an explanation (it took me a LONG time to type all of that), but I think that it really helped me solidify my choices. It actually made me change my mind a couple times once I started typing, too.
  6. FIRE EMBLEM Twilight Kingdom Hello everyone, I want to show you a new project idea. I think it's good and you will like it. (Sorry for any grammatical or ortographical mistake, English is not my native language). Story Thousands of years ago, in our world coexisted two races: humans and naari. Naari used an extrange fighting art named magic. Therefore started a great war named the Magic War. Humans won, so they banished the naari to another world. 2300 years later, the Kingdom of Renoll, until then small and poor, suffered a civil war and the rebel leader, Txaz, was named Emperor. He started to conquest countries, successfully. The Kingdom of Imyd, in the northwest, supported him, like the Kingdom of Lalsen, in the east, did. Imyd supported Renoll until the King Dansen of Imyd died in strange circumstances in his camp. The prince Leiss, seeking revenge, broke the pact with Renoll and founded the Alliance (alongside the Kingdoms of Amuld and Nird and the Republic of the Twin Rivers) against Renoll and Lalsen. Four years later... The game will tell the story of Armyn, an apprentice knight, with the objective of return peace to the world. And also he will have to fight against the secret weapon of Renoll's Emperor, warriors enhaced with naari power, while he discovers the truth about his past. What do you think? Will it be an interesting game? (Leave a comment, please) Sadly, if I want to do it I will probably need some help, especially with sprites and maps, they are not my strong point. If you want to help, I will be very grateful Thanks for reading!
  7. Well, since all these 'social hangout threads' are the 'hip new thing', I started a thread about burning things! You know, because that's fun. And who doesn't like fun?
  8. Because noone's ever done one of these before... Rules: -All of the growth rates for the player controlled units are set to 0%. -All of the characters will be recruited. -I will be going on Ephraim route (another shocker). -I will attempt (key word there) to achieve the lowest turncounts possible given those constraints. I'll probably edit the OP later on to include other things of importance. Probably. Prologue- 1/1 turn Chapter 1- 3/4 turns One can only hope that the later chapters will be more interesting to watch.
  9. I've recently been playing through Radiant Dawn via Dolphin, and I've been experiencing some issues. I got up to Chapter 6 in Part 1, and my emulator keeps crashing whenever I either try to open up the dolphin interface or load a save, and sometimes it just crashes at random, no matter where I am in the game. The audio also sounds VERY glitchy and my game has around 12 FPS, even though I had put my game on the fastest graphical settings possible on Dolphin. My computer is fairly new, so I don't think my hardware is to blame. Please help!
  10. http://www.spike.com/vgx/best-rpg'>http://www.spike.com/vgx/best-rpg Well, I haven't heard of this VGX thing before, or it's predecessor, the VGA, but apparently Awakening has been nominated for best RPG for this year's event, which will be on this Saturday. Considering the other nominees, I'd say it has some tough competition, but well, who knows. Thoughts?
  11. Fire Emblem: Path of a New World follows the tale of the Wayfarers, a group of elite soldiers sent to control a rebellion born of an aristocratic conspiracy, trying to subjugate Trames under the rule of it's sworn enemy, Algard, both countries of the continent of Gravia. Their tale continues as they find much more than a war or a political crisis... This fangame is made in a HEAVILY modified version of RPG Maker XP, Fire Emblem XP starter kit, by bwdYeti, the engine itself containing all of the core elements of the Fire Emblem games, such as, but not limited to, turn-based combat, levels, supports, chapters and etc. I also added some things to the engine, as you can see in the screenshots. This is a fangame made by the Path Makers team, based on Nintendo's Fire Emblem series of tactical RPGs [spoiler=Story]The story follows a group of elite soldiers known as Wayfarers, a small military division from the Kingdom of Trames. A group known to be sent to long-distance missions, the Wayfarers was a group created by Mikhail. the once prince, now king of Trames. Trames is going through a turbulent period of war against a neighbor country, Algard. King Mikhail marched to the front lines, leaving the administration of the kingdom to a small group of aristocrats. The group, however, took the unique opportunity, starting a coup d'état to turn Trames in a parliamentary republic under their command. Having knowledge of the rebellion in his homeland, Mikhail sends the Wayfarers back to Trames, hoping to surpress the uprising. The true face of the parliamentary will eventually show, through internal discussions, having startling revelations to everyone involved... [spoiler=Characters]Wayfarers Alex Is the youngest of the three orphans, yet tecnically the leader of the Wayfarers. Sees the world differently from most, which increases his skills both as a painter and as a leader. Decided to learn the ways of magic, he studied for years. It is unknown how, but he managed to fuse his skills as a painter with his skills as a mage, creating unique and powerful magics. A really kind person, dislikes violence and discord of any degree, and because of that, some people sees him as a coward, but he shows courage when needed. Disapproves Gahst thivery and Bravesa pleasure of fighting. Gahst Very swift and skilled thief, he is a natural tactican and strategist beacause of his observation skills. Started taking advantage of his nimble hands and mind at a young age, stealing food and money to survive in his little town, where he used to live only with his brothers Bravesa and Alex. Their parents died when they were kids. Pays attention to details which most don't see, and likes to point errors from the other, but because of that is seen as grumpy, even though he has the intention of helping. Gave up of thievery years ago, when Mikhail saved his town (and consequently, his brothers). Bravesa Lived as a mercenary to help his brothers since twelve, when his parents died. Learned the way of the axe-fighting with his father. Extremely strong warrior, really enjoys fighting. He isn't exactly dumb, but he doen't think though things too well. Stopped his life as a mercenary and was turned into an actual soldier when Mikhail saved he and his brothers from a bandit raid. Is the best friend and rival of Eddy. Constantly discusses with Angelina due to his "dumb muscle" demeanor. Eddy (Eduardo) Used to live in a village with his childhood bestfriend, Lenna, in Algard. When she got sick, he started to work for the army to get some money for medicine. Fought against Trames until he met Mikhail. That encounter changed his mind and brought him to the side of Trames. Has very strong ideals, willing to die and go back from hell for them Is very competitive, especially when it comes to Bravesa, with whom he has a friendly rivalry. Denas Joined Mikhail's army due to what he describes as a "moral debt", even though he says nothing more. It is rumored that he is the lost son of a noble house of Salfare, the Country of Shifting Dunes. A master swordsman, extremely skillful with the blade, but enigmatic and sarcastic. Has a unique (and sometimes horrible) sense of humor. Seeks to be the greatest swordsmith ever to have lived. A good friend of Eusine, somewhat of a friend to Gahst. Eusine A quircky archer who'd rather be called "eccentric", but of unmatched skill with the bow. He lived in a treehouse in the middle of a forest, and after being helped by Mikhail to save Dino, his pet, from enemies who had kidnapped it, he joined his army. Wants do find de recipe of the Tapioca with Cheese, which seems to be truly lost as no one knows what that is. A good friend of Alex and Denas. Angelina A gifted cleric that likes to complain, and because of that was branded as "annoying" within the Wayfarers, even if it is only a in-joke. Sour on the outside, sweet on the inside. Has deep sorrow of never having true friends while young. Is a good friend of Alex, discusses a lot with Bravesa, due to his "dumb muscle" manneirisms. [spoiler=Gameplay]The gameplay is like any other Fire Emblem game, even if the the game is made in the RPG Maker. You can do most of things you can do in other FE games such as fighting with the weapon/magic/elemental triangle, talking to certain characters, supporting, etc. Talking about the support system, it has the greatest changes, instead of using the same system as the GBA Fire Emblem games, it is based around the "talk" command. When met under certain conditions, such as location, chapter and etc., the command will be available between two characters. Those conversations will increase the support level between the characters and may yield items or other bonus. The game is based on chapter with various objectives, but most of them is defeating an enemy, by completing mission objectives such as seizing a base, surviving for a number of turns, or defeating a boss. Before the chapter itselves you will be able to do various actions in the base, such as organizing your team, trade, save, buy or sell items, see conversations between characters and save the game For now, you can't select which characters you can bring to a certain chapter, but the chapters are made supposing you brought everyone... [spoiler=Screenshots]Selecting an unit to modify the items. The interface is fairly different to the one in the GBA FE games. The supply screen. The items won't automatically organize when you put an item there, but you can sort the way you want! The battlefield: Landing a critical hit on the enemy! (aka how to land on a pirate) Now Level ups are a little more... Noisy, in a good sense. Berries! - You, for reading though my topic! 12. What difficulty do you play when on a Fire Emblem game? I've recently started to find more enjoyment in harder difficulties, which I used to find daunting.
  13. Because this totally hasn't been done before. ...Wait, I'm doing something productive with my time?! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-
  14. If this has been a topic before I apologise in advance... So yeah, self-explanatory really. Was considering doing a poll but then I remember there's about 80 or 90 different pieces in this game, so... Id (Sorrow) is probably my favourite. It's so soothing and it fits the tone pretty well considering when it's played. Conquest (Ablaze) is a pretty close second, although all the ablaze songs from what I remember sound good
  15. I don't know if anyone else has ever seen these pictures, but I assume it is Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, but with GBA sprites. Does anyone have any knowledge on this or anything really about what this even is. I believe this goes here but can anyone help with any info?
  16. So i want olivia x chrom sumia x henry however henry doesnt appear until chapter 13 so wll chrom could easily marry sumia. It is possible to get chrom and olivia to suport S in 1 chaptor? 18. Have you ever tried it? Would you ever try it? If not why not? Who would your dream Fire Emblem Cosplay be? I'm thinking of putting together a Cosplay of Henry from Awakening at some point. Just to give a bit of context here's my DA: http://camisicado.deviantart.com/. I've been Cosplaying for a couple of years on and off. The main thing that's putting me off is making his clothing, I'm no expert at making costumes and while his face/wig would be easy to recreate his clothing seems a bit tricky. (Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I couldn't find a Cosplay thread anywhere and this seemed the most obvious place to put one.)
  19. Introduction: Hey guys. First off, there may already be a thread for this somewhere on the forums, but I checked the first 5 pages of this subforum and couldn't find anything like it, so I figured it'd be safe to post. This is essentially a thread for people to find detailed challenge runs that they can attempt in Fire Emblem: Awakening, as well as post their own challenges for other people to attempt. It is my personal belief that Lunatic and Lunatic+ are poorly balanced, and so challenge runs are really the only way for players to get more replay value out of the game after completing it on Hard. I'll add all the challenges you guys suggest to this post for ease of use. If you want, you can post in this thread to let us know how many challenges you've completed, and how well you did on them. Guidelines: None, other than a specific format for posting Challenge Runs, which can be found below: Challenges: Challenge Name: Super Shepherd Bros. Basic Concept Summary: You are only allowed to use characters that are canonically considered members of the Shepherds. If a character dies, you are not allowed to restart the map, so you have a very limited number of characters to last you throughout the entire game. Every death counts. If either your Avatar or Chrom dies, you lose one life. You have three lives total. Difficulty Setting: Hard/Classic. Number of Continues: Three. Resets Allowed: None. Risen Encounters Allowed: No. Pair-Up Allowed: Yes. Characters Allowed: Female or Male Avatar, Chrom, Sully, Stahl, Vaike, Lissa, Frederick, Sumia, Miriel, Kellam, Ricken, Maribelle. Choose one character to be your '13th Shepherd'. This character can be any non-Spotpass character who is not originally a member of the Shepherds, such as Virion. This character can be used normally, but if this character dies, it costs you one of your lives, and you are still not allowed to reset to save them. Support Restrictions: All Supports allowed. DLC Allowed: None. Bonus Box Allowed: None. Event Tiles Allowed: All event tile types allowed. Items Allowed: All. Miscellaneous Restrictions: None. Notes: This is a good challenge run to start with. Very doable, but by no means a cake walk. Creator: RiskyPLUS. Challenge Rating: * *
  20. So my brother (most of you know him as "Knight") has informed me that my Fire Emblem let's play may go a little more noticed if I begin posting it on the serenes forums. I would like to point out though that I haven't really been doing anything special with this let's play other than my shenanigans, but I am open to suggestions if you guys think I should spice it up with something. So here's too your viewing pleasure, I will try to post links to new episodes as often as possible, but if you actually want to view them right when they come out then I would suggest subscribing to my youtube channel, either way, here you go: Episode 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7VrBrRYdRk Episode 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXLaldU_8-o
  21. This is a story about my favorite Fire Emblem Awakening character Lon'qu. Give me as much critical feedback as you can. Every comment/post is appreciated. Written by:Mystletainn. <Prologue> Chon’sin I was just a young man then. Perhaps only 13 years of age. In a slum of Chon’sin I was born and raised, with no real family other than a girl only one year younger than myself. Her name… her name was Ke’ri, and she was my only friend. We would always be together, whether we were play sword fighting or chasing insects. She never left my side, and I her’s. We were but children then. On my 12th birthday I was going to start my sword training to protect her. I had to leave Ke’ri for the first time I can remember. I would be in southern Chon’sin learning the art of the blade from the greatest sword masters on Valm. I wasn’t there legally though. One had to have written permission from their mother, and had to be shown in by their father; neither of which I had, so I snuck in. I heard from thieves on the streets of Chon’sin that there were vines hanging off of an old tree near the back of the complex. However, the thieves were older and therefore heavier than I, so they could not climb them. I was able to climb the vines with ease though, but a larger dilemma than foliage faced me. The complex was made up of only four buildings, a dormitory for the boys, a dormitory for the older men, another for the masters, and then the training hall. Then there were the walls. Quite possibly the largest structures I have ever laid eyes upon, these walls could not be scaled. There were also at least ten feet separating the branch I was standing on from the top of the wall, with no room for me to get a running start. If I came close to the wall, I could have grabbed the statue. But that was still one hell of a leap. So I tried. And I fell. I awoke in the boy’s dormitory, with an aching back and numb legs. As my senses returned I got out of the cot and searched for anyone that might know what happened to me. I went to the training hall to seek out an instructor and found only one. He was sitting facing the doorway, legs crossed. His eyes were open but he didn’t acknowledge me. I started waving my arms, but he still paid no attention. I stepped closer, and as I climbed the stairs, there was a creak in the floorboards. As the sound echoed through the hall, the old man stood up and drew his sword. “Who approaches?” He said loudly, but in a whisper. “M-my name is Lon’qu.” I stuttered quietly. “Ahh, it’s you. The one that tried to climb the wall. Tell me, why are you here, young man?” The old man asked me. “I uh… I-” “Speak boy!” He shouted as he tapped his sword against the back wall of the training hall. “I wish to learn the ways of the sword!” I said hurriedly, not wishing to anger the old man further. He agreed to train me. The exercises were difficult. Every morning I would have to train before breakfast, then again directly after breakfast. This went on until I couldn’t train anymore. That time span would become longer each day. The old man said I was one of his quickest learning students. Perhaps my reason for such quick growth was the fact that there were no other students, almost as if the complex had been abandoned by all asides from this man. And in all my 3 years training at the complex, I never learned the old man’s name. I asked only once, and his exact words were “It matters not my name, my age, nor my origins. All that is important is the here and the now, all I have accomplished, and all I have surmounted to.” Finally I had to part ways with the old man and return to western Chon’sin. There, I would be with Ke’ri again, and now I could protect her from the dangers of the slum. Which I did, until I was 17, and she was 16. Then it happened. Ke’ri and I were in love, and I had finally saved up enough money through mercenary work to buy her a ring as beautiful as she. A silver band with a burning topaz in the center, which was the same bright color as her lucid eyes. I was going to marry her, and soon. My foolish self, however, didn’t notice the four rogues loitering about the market. They saw me purchase the ring and must have started following me in hopes to take it. They followed Ke’ri and me to our favorite getaway spot. A small ruined fort near a crashing waterfall and a single large cherry blossom tree. We sat down on a mossy rock near the waterfall and under the tree. I was about to pull out the ring when I heard the sharp “clink” of metal on rock. An arrow had hit just below our legs. “Oy, wut do we got here mates” “Aww look at deez two. Aint that sweet” “Ke’ri, leave now” I told her. “But Lon’qu I-“ “GO, LEAVE!” I had to keep her safe. “Aww aint yall cute. What do ya think hmm? Think that beautiful couple will last?” “Maybe, only if they hand ovah dat ring” “Take it then.” I slipped the ring on my smallest finger while drawing my blade. “What are they talking about Lon’qu? What ring? What’s going on?” “I’ll explain later Ke’ri, just stay back.” Two of the rogues came at me, one swinging his axe high, the other low. I dodged the first rogues attack and managed to stab the other before he got a chance to get too close. Then the first rogue threw a blind swing backwards and completely missed. I retaliated quickly and disarmed him. He attacked with a flurry of quick but inaccurate punches, but I managed to wound his arm and finish him with a slice to the torso. Another rogue had grabbed me from behind, his sweaty arm around my neck. I was barely able to slip out of the large mans grasp before he brought down his axe. A swift blow to his head with my free hand, then a kick to the groin and thrust with my blade down his hunched over back ended that beast of a man. Then the final man. Armed with only a bow he stood about 50 feet away. There was nowhere for me to run. The battle had brought us to an open field. I looked around for Ke’ri, prepared to throw her the ring. Then I saw her standing behind the rogue, holding one of the deceased bandit’s hand axes. She brought it down quickly, eyes shut and body tense. “Oh my gods, L-l-lon’qu.” She ran up and hugged me tightly. “Who were those men?” “I don’t know Ke’ri, but I saw them at the market where I bought your ring. They were clearly after it.” “Oh… *sob* Lon’qu.” She started crying quietly, her face buried in my chest. “Don’t be sad Ke’ri, you’re safe.” “How could I be sad Lon’qu” She looked up with a smile. “This is the happiest day of my life.” “What do you mean?” I asked, completely forgetting what I had the ring for. “Stop jesting Lon’qu. My answer is yes.” It all rushed back to me. I had completely forgotten. “So this means… You will be my wife?” “Yes, of course.” She said, tears drying on her face. “Here, Ke’ri.” I slipped the ring on her finger. She looked into my eyes, and I looked into hers. “Let’s go home now.” “Agreed.” And so we started heading back to the slum from which we both came from. The slum we both called home. “Lon’qu?” “Yes Ke’ri?” “We should move out of our slum once we get back there. Just pack up our things and leave. It will be like an adventure.” “That sounds great” I agreed. “Where were you thi-” “Ach, L-lon’qu…” “Ke’ri!” She had been stabbed by another rogue after her ring. “Hnngaa!” I threw my sword directly into his chest without skipping a beat. “Ke’ri, get up, please. Don’t leave me. I love you. You are the world to me, and I can’t let you die here.” “…L-leave me Lon’qu. I’m already gone. D-don’t take th-the… ring… you would b-be… putting yourself… in d-danger.” “Never, you’re coming with me.” “Goodbye… Lon’qu… My love.” “No…” So I took her to the cherry blossom tree, near the waterfall and old fort. I set her in the river, and held her hand one last time. “Goodbye, Ke’ri. My love. It matters not our names, our ages, nor our origins. All that is important is the here and the now, all we have accomplished, and all we have surmounted to.” But that old man forgot something. Something he possibly never had. Love.
