I like having fun/different/completely strange classes on characters, so I figure I should do a PMU (also so I use characters I don't normally use). I'll choose the difficulty after I have all the units. If I get a bunch of good ones, I'll go Lunatic. Thanks guys, I have a full cast for my PMU playthrough! Rules-ish...? Any child character has to have both parents picked as well. I don't have DLC, so class limits are 2 Dark Fliers, 2 Dread Fighters, 1 Lodestar, 1 Great Lord and 1 Witch OR Balistician. I'm extremely curious about the Omega Yato. I was doing a my castle battle in a random castle and something weird happened. My Soleil, whose skills are Vantage, Counter, Rend Heaven, Astra, and Lifetaker, attacked the enemy avatar who had the omega yato equipped. I thought "Ok, i have 30 hp, whateves she dies for the castle battle no big. OH WAIT, she has counter, so i should kill him if he hits" however, with his 44 dmg x2, counter didn't activate. My question is, does the Omega Yato nullify counter? because Soleil was attacking adjacent to him, yet it didn't activate.

Some characters just rub you the wrong way at first, and you just think they're a simple joke or stereotype. But then they do or say something that makes you see them in a new light. Mine was Arthur. I thought he was the average superhero guy who sucks at his job. I still liked him no problem, but earlier today I was looking through his Support conversations in the Japanese version of the game, and was shocked to discover one of his talks with Effie. To summarize, he asked how was Effie a better retainer than him. She responded something akin to "because Elise was my friend before I was her retainer." The next conversation was a followup answer to Arthur's question, saying that he was "too fickle". He responded by saying that it's simply how he is; he helps people in need, not simply Elise. Effie responded with saying that kind of attitude is just fine. I thought he was doing it simply for the possible fame and accolation, but it was simply because of how much of a good person he is. From what I understand, they flanderized him in the official translation, which is unfortunate. But I'll always respect Arthur for the man he was supposed to be. -
After being inspired by so many PMUs, I decided that I'm ready to do my first one for my last next playthrough of Fates! Hard/Classic with No Resets because challenge. RULES: Chosen characters will be used after chapter 9. Even though it's a no reset run, Grinding will still be allowed. I'm still gonna use everything in MyCastle. I'm gonna be using Fem!Corrin. I will pick what she looks like but you can pick her name, boon, bane and talent/final class. Azura will be free but you pick her class. 14 units are still needed. Plus points if you give me units with interesting, good or weird classes. No Corrinsexuals. To make it fun, I'm allowing only one troll unit that is not Strategist!Character w/o Mag growths If you're giving a 2nd Gen unit, Give me their parents as well. If you're giving a unit with a class that involves a pairing, give the pairing as well. If your're gonna give me units with DLC classes, only the free DLC Classes (Dread Fighter, Dark Falcon, Lodestar, Great Lord and Ballistician/Witch) Would be really nice to have at least 1 healer. Units that were not picked will only be used for as support in pair-up. Gen 1 units who were not picked but are needed for Gen 2 units that were picked will be used until recruitment of their child. After all that you may now Pick My Units! Fire Emblem Fates Revelation Anthology Scanlation project

Sup FB forums, After seeing Kirokan doing Fates 4-Koma and the other 4-Komas and with the release of Revelation comic anthology made me want to at least try and go ahead and scanlate the manga. So I went ahead and bought both Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest and Revelation Anthology seeing neither been scanlated. Now I'm completely noob at this since I have never done scanlation work before leecher FTW right? and I can't read a lick of Japanese so I can't do any translations. However, I'll try and can scan the pages with my old scanner and do the cleaning and all the other fun stuff. So I'm pretty much looking for a translator that can help me or heck any help at all will be helpful. Since this isn't probably the best place I'll also go and check at proper scanlation requirement stuff on other sites. I thought I'll start here first and check what people think of this and if anyone is interested in my little project. Looks at Kirokan with puppy eyes -

Making two files, one for Optimal pairings, where I use +Str -Def Femui w/ Oni Savage I believe (already made) and I marry Keaton or Charlotte!Velouria, and one w/ Mamui (mods not set) for pairings that are cute, make sense, or are hilarious. I already reserve the right to Oboro!Caeldori for the hilarious tab, where I give her Marth's Tiara or Lucina's Mask and make her a Great Lord. Please submit pairings for both. -
I'm not used to pairing up characters to have children, so I need some help. I want the children be at their full potential. I already pair my avatar with Scarlet and Kaze with Azura. Help?

Starting with Chapter 9, Hana, Rinkah and Subaki, I decided I'd make a patch for Revelation so that in a Lunatic Revelation, most units could actually be usable right off the bat instead of being useless that chapter, and also being useless even after some grinding. This was used to calculate the Average stats for the units at certain levels. Thoughts? Ideas? Discuss. -
Hi, Ok so, if you're reading this, you've already beat Revelation I hope. So after the very happy cliche ending, Kamui is the king/queen of Valla and the siblings are all like "if you need anything please let us know/come to us. But in Kamui's ending story thing, it ssys that the Bottomless Canyon was sealed. We saw that the Bottomless Canyon was used as an entrance to Valla, and that the only person who could open a partal outside of the Bottomless Canyon was Azura, who stays in Valla, i'd assume (i fon't remember but mist likely) So if the siblings wanted to communicate, or visit Kamui, how would they do it? Just a random thought.

So, having just finished Conquest on Hard, I'm having a dilemma. Birthright is easier, at least from what I've hear from literally everyone I know playing Fates. Furthermore, grinding is possible. Supposedly, Revelation is between the two in terms of difficulty. Seeing as there's no Lunatic+ to unlock, and I've heard that Fates' Lunatic mode isn't the totally and completely idiotic and non-strategic RNGfest Awakening's lunatic/lunatic+ was, I'm wondering whether to play Birthright on Hard or Lunatic mode. My concern is that I intend to play Revelation on Hard mode because Hard mode doesn't lock your stat growths at mission start, and I want to use my Revelation playthrough for PvP later on (which means locked growths would make stat-capping awful grindy and tedious). If I play Lunatic Birthright, will Revelation on Hard be boringly easy? Thanks in advance for opinions and input, I'd appreciate someone whose already done this weighing as well. -
Hello friends, I've finished Birthright and Conquest and during my playthroughs I noticed that Intelligent Systems changed a lot of things in this game from Awakening and even added new things as well. And one of the things they changed was the level up system, you can't reclass forever so you have to be careful of how to use your seals. I don't intend on making mistakes on my Revelations playthrough, so I ask when is a good time to promote a unit? I just got Takumi for example and I wanna master seal him to a sniper and then heart seal him to a Basara because of Rend Heaven, but the question is should I do that now with him at level 10 or level him up a little bit to improve his stats? Basically what's the optimal way of going about this? Eternal Seals are kind of expensive so I don't wanna buy too many of them if I can avoid it.

So, my birthday was during the past week. Some of my family came to visit me, as I live in Canada while they live in the United States. They know how much I love Nintendo so they decided to buy me an EShop gift card to buy whatever I wanted. I was so excited, as since Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation came out, I was going to use the card to buy that path. Now my family visited, gave me the EShop card. It was worth $35, so just enough to buy the game. I enter the code. I get the message "The card you are using cannot be used with the current region settings". Well, this is a setback. I go to the system settings and change my region. Ok. Problem solved. I go to buy the path. "Your system region settings do not match up with your NNID's settings". Ok. No problem. I'll just go change the region for my NNID. Oh wait. I CAN'T. Now the money is probably going to waste. I guess I'll give it to some friends I know in the states. *Sigh*, this sucks. Sorry, I just needed to vent. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

So I just finished the main game of Revelation and am now looking to optimize pairings for postgame and DLC (as well as min-maxing because I like to). I'm playing on Normal mode, male Corrin +Str -Lck, Talent Oni Savage. As much as I'd love to put Corrin with Azura I hate that you can't have him marry her without losing out on a kid. By the way I'm going for pure optimization as far as the kids go, with a goal of having one S rank user of every weapon type, class diversity. In parentheses are my reasonings for the pairing if I haven't seen much on it online. Corrin/Flora Azura/Laslow Takumi/Rinkah (With access to Crit +20 I figured that would make for a lethal sniper) Odin/Elise Saizo/Hana (I liked Hana as a unit and since the Swordmaster child is taken a Ninja is close enough) Kaden/Hinoka Keaton/Camilla Arthur/Effie Ryoma/Kagero Leo/Felicia Xander/Selena Hinata/Mozu (Did not particularly like Hinata or his growths, so I figured Aptitude might help) Hyato/Sakura Silas/Charlotte (I want a Berserker on my team and Sophie was the last option. But I do think there is a certain match up since Silas excels where Berserkers tend to lag) Azama/Orochi Benny/Peri Niles/Oboro (Give Nina some healing ability as an Adventurer) Kaze/Beruka Jakob/Setsuna (Was the last one I settled on and so he got stuck with the leftover) Subaki/Nyx (Give some degree of Magic for Caeldori) How do these work? I'm not sure if there's an Apotheosis styled DLC on the way, but even if not I want the absolutely most optimal pairings and there's surprisingly little in the way of proper pairing guides out there that aren't for LTC or Lunatic or both. Also of note is that I really wanted to try get Crit +20 on my Berserker as well, but I couldn't figure out a way to swing that, so I'm open to suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Hey I was curious how many of these are in the game because when I was playing Revelation, one of the NPC bosses had their own critical quote(s?). Do all bosses have these or certain ones? For the boss in question, massive Revelation spoiler so read at your own risk! Back in Awakening, I know Validar had one, which is why I am curious if more bosses have these. But it might be hard to gather them up without some cheating or some way to force them to trigger skills/crits. Or just being lucky.

Hey guys, I'm starting up an IK/Lunatic/Classic File and need some help deciding which units I should be focusing on. I'm on Ch. 12 currently and have been exercising minimal grinding (I think I've done like two or three scout maps?). I've already completed the game on Hard, which I found pretty easy, and was able to use my favourite units for the most part. But who would you recommend I focus on for Lunatic, and who would be a good marriage partner for F!Corrin (omitting Jakob, if possible.) Thanks for your help.
