Hey everyone it's me Altean Tactician! I am coming here to tell you all of my Youtube channel! I want to use this thread to easily link all of you to my videos as well as to keep you all updated on my channel and my let's plays without having to make a ton of update videos. I also wish to use this thread to answer any questions you all may have. I will have polls in this thread as well for you guys to vote on what game I play next after I finish an LP. Currently due to high school, my upload schedule is every Saturday and Sunday as well as whenever I can find time during the school week. My reasoning is that I wish to do a FE12 Hard Mode Ironman Chain Play. There are 24 main story chapters and 6 gaiden chapters in that game so each person would play six chapters each, and we would alternate every chapter or every six chapters. If you are interested just post in this thread with a link to your channel. (If I can't get four more people on board then I can settle for three and each person would play ten chapters) Each person would upload the chapters they play to their own youtube channel as well. I will update you all when I plan to start this. {Update 10/2/2016} FE7 Part 7 is up now I am still looking for people to do the run that I talked about yesterday. {Update 10/5/2016} No new video today, editing is taking longer than I thought...{Update 10/8/2016} I am starting to record FE7 part 10 but due to life things it won't be up until tomorrow, so expect two videos now on Monday. -
So I decided to do a little mini tribute video using a cool little app my sis found called smule piano. I played that in the background with some clips overlaid of the 3ds games. Hope you guys enjoy!

After some technical issues, I can finally get back to my playthroughs, however I lost my data for the ones that were in progress before my laptop decided to explode on me. So I'm starting with some new runs. The FE6 ironman was unfortunately in there, which is sad because I had finally continued it, but now I have a new idea with ironmans starting with FE3 Book 1 and going through as many games as I can record over time. Fire Emblem 3 Book 1, is mostly recorded as we speak, just going up fairly slow to make sure I have content for a bit, 2 other games will also be coming up. Now over the years, I've loved watching video game related videos on youtube, be it Protonjon among other various lets players, Brainscratch & Hellfirecomms with their video game commentaries, various game reviewers. I've always wanted to somewhat follow in the footsteps of these people I find entertaining and become maybe mildly successful at it, various issues come up, such as. I'm not sure how to stand out, considering the over-saturation of all of these things SINCE people like these have gotten big, the various other small fish who do have somewhat loyal fanbases, the desire to stand out and yet do some of the same things, along with personal motivation, keep shooting me in the foot. Some days I really feel like recording games, other times i'm busy or I just plain can't get myself motivated, I mean I mostly use my channel for smash brothers matches that are like "Serenes Forest" official tourney things, and I do plan on Livestreaming #FE MTS, but aside from that I always get ideas, possible LP's, reviews and stuff and always, I either do it and not many people are receptive (or theres some, but too small to consider a following), or I just lose my entire motivation for that particular thing. My own negative attitude sometimes also sinks my ship, considering some days i'll just be like "eh whats the point, no one is gonna care either way". Does anyone have any suggestions for either, keeping myself motivated or doing something... Well new in this field, because like I do want to share games and stuff I personally enjoy and would like other people to experience as well, i'm... just not really sure how I should go about it, or how I'd be successful quite yet. I mean I could just spam all my friends, but that would get annoying, quickly.

Hello people, So... the English FE Fates comes out in about a month already. I thought I'd support what the translation team has been through in the making of the whole project, because we both know that people around here have been between a rock and a hard place- the release of Fates in Japan, while not receiving a release date confirmation in the US ourselves until October and that it has caused... impatience, alongside other feelings. But straight to the point- if that's something that's bound to interest you as well as others, I'm covering FE Fates right now WITH the translation patch installed on my YouTube channel, since I got everything to work on my newly-purchased capture card 3DS. I was able to run the Invisible Kingdom and DLC as well- in fact, I'm highly considering to cover the third path (despite it being in something of a revision state) because it's my favorite of the three, as well as to get some early coverage of it with my own combination of quality, gameplay and commentary. I've taken a peek at other playthroughs of that path, and I felt something was lacking one way or the other. Not saying I'm gonna sound any better to you, stressful as it is already to record a game like this IMO, but heck if I won't try to entertain some die-hard fans while having fun myself, doing something I thought I would never have pulled off. And even when the game releases in English, I'll probably just continue playing the patch (not that I'll have much of a choice when I'll be farther in the game, lol). Also censorship. That's a thing too. Anyway, regardless of the path(s) covered, I'm gonna be playing on Lunatic/Classic without grinding. Subject to change depending on my situation (IRL or not), but that's the plan I'm willing to stick with. Hey all, I'm new to this forum but I love Fire Emblem a lot. I recently uploaded a half-an-hour in length in-depth review to youtube that I've been working on for a month. I've sent it to a couple of friends as well and gotten a lot of the critique on what I did wrong and need to fix such as forced jokes, redundant explanation, lack of visuals, etc. All of which I acknowledge. I am posting this here in hopes of two things: One, that maybe some of you will enjoy it and stick around to watch more when I finally get good enough to one day retrospect that review and two, for some honest criticism so I can make my next review better. I'm counting on you, Fire Emblem fans! I need you're help! It's good to be here! (Also yes for those of you who love Radiant Dawn I do kind of get on Micaiah's case for being a bit squishy. Hi! I'm still new to this board so forgive me if this is not the correct place to put this topic. I've always thought it'd be cool if someone did video analysis' on charcters from Fire Emblem Awakening and talk about sets to run on them (sort of like those pokemon videos you see sometimes). I was surprised to find out no one makes them so I decided to try my own hand at it. Now I know it in no way looks "professional" or especially well-made but I put all i could into it with the resources I had and I'm fairly pleased with the result. I decided to do the episode on a very popular pairing/unit, Lon'qu!Severa. Any and all advice I could use to make this better is great! However I would prefer ADVICE! Not comments just saying "Oh this stinks" and "You shouldn't be making these cause your voice is annoying". I want helpful advice. This video was made using Windows Movie Maker (I know. Decided to do this for my first series on the new channel. I am going to show off both paths and use different characters and promotions for each one. I kinda wanted to do a YouTube video of Pokemon X and Fire Emblem Awakening with using the Action Replay Powersaves for 3DS (incase if I find some cool data that wasn't showed in the final version or do a powerful cheat playthrough to show it to everyone and also find a way to get Volcanion and Hoopa showing In-Game Battle and unlock two Pokedex info for X until I get the Powersaves from GameStop in tomorrow or an another day), but I just wanted to know that what type of camera can it be better to record it on a video and publishing it on YouTube, but would a Web Camera be better for recording a video or should I use something else better for recording a video? But, I didn't record in any Camera type video on YouTube before, but I only did have about three Binding Blade videos with using from Gringe's patch (just from the previous versions).

I thought I would go ahead and bring this video up that was uploaded recently. Basically it is about a company that is abusing the You Tube Copyright system to remove bad reviews of their (Awful) Game. Not only is this a dirty trick on the Devs part, but it also shows how sensitive the system is on youtube. Like explained in the video, 3 Copyright Strikes will completely remove the youtube channel. It's just awful how easy someone can take down these channels that people like myself put so much work into, just for invalid claims. Of course there are always other you-tubers who may deserve the copyright strikes (theft of user-made music/videos/letsplays). Luckily, I don't have any Copyright Strikes, but others I know were not so lucky.
