  1. If a seasonal unit had to get a PRF who desperately would want the refine and what kind of weapon would you give them?
  2. Which weapon do you feel Lysithea is going to wield? Given that Green is going to be taken by Edlegard with Amyr Blue is going to be taken by Dimitri with Areadbhar Claude has a bow which is primarily colorless Dark Magic is red primarily with few exceptions (Dark Aura and Dark Excaliur) Futhermore Lysithea has two crests Charon and Gloucester it makes sense that she would have Red as her color but this asks a question. Which Relic is she going to have? Thyrsus points Dark Magic is Red, and Lysithea is known for Dark Magic She is typically much more powerful with this staff then with Thunderbrand If Claude is Red, Thyrsus could maker her Colorless Unit Thunderbrand Points Hidden Proficiency in swords, which gives her a Magic sword technique Has a support with Catherine with them bonding over their crests
  3. What’s the most unexpected class choice that sounds dumb on concept, but personally worked for your playthrough Right now, a Swordmaster Ferdinand is wrecking things on my Church Playthrough
  4. What crossover spinoff do you think would work well? What genre would the crossover be? What lords would you love to see involved? What non lords would you love to see involved? And what other spinoff ideas would you like to see for fire emblem?
  5. I heard that Kris or MU was a very controversial character i wanted to ask fans of this game if it is true and if so... How would you change him?
  6. Haven’t played this game but it seems fun Should I plan on getting it on the switch?
  7. We can all agree the FEH pass blows right? But I think we should at the very least acknowledge why it is bad, and form complaints to IS/Nintendo Mobile about why it’s bad So I got two questions for everyone 1: What things should have been in the pass that would make it worth getting, but at the same time not implement a P2W scenario like with Early Life SW Battlefield 2 2: What exactly is bad about the pass, and what changes would you make to it in any way?
  8. If you could create a chapter for an FE game: the objective, the environment, the layout, the enemy placements, the main gimmicks, etc., what would it be? EDIT: I should give an example. My chapter would be a multi-part chapter where the heroes have to lay siege to an enemy castle, and there's no secret entrance that makes things easy; the heroes have to get in the hard way. Part 1 is storming the front gate. Objective: Arrive at the tiles blocked by the castle gate. The player's army has to approach the front gatehouse and find a way to get their army inside. They have two options: seize control of the upper part of the gatehouse and open the gate, or have your units wheel the battering ram up to the gate and have it destroy the gate. It takes multiple turns for the ram to destroy the gate, however, and the ram can be destroyed by the enemies. To get to the upper part of the gatehouse, one must get up the front wall and get inside. Flying units could just fly up to the wall, but the wall's littered with archers, and the gatehouse towers have ballistae. One could have their infantry units carry siege ladders to the wall and ascent the wall via the ladders. However, enemies can knock down the ladders on their phase, and the fall damages your units. Part 2 is seizing the courtyard. Objective: Seize the entrance to the keep. This chapter comprises of taking the castle's courtyard. The wall is littered with enemy archers and mages, and the stairs to the walls are guarded by knights. The layout of the courtyard is divided into multiple sections; each of which is separated from the others by a wall and a gate. Again, flying units can fly over the walls, but the large number of archers and mages makes this a bad idea. But these gates aren't nearly as challenging to breach. Part 3 is taking the keep. Objective: Defeat the enemy commander at the top floor of the keep. This is an indoor chapter where all mounted units must dismount (if dismount is in the game) or have their movement significantly cut. The layout of this mission is a multiple-story map with multiple rooms. One has to ascend from the bottom floor to the top floor.
  9. Yeah, I saw this video, but, I was sad for this Smash Direct, and Edelgard was disconfirmed to be a Fighter, only appears as a cameo in the Stage: Garreg Mach Monastery and Spirit. And you, what do you think about this fighter?
  10. Do you think it should be a remake or a brand new game and why? I want to find out who the First Exalt is, what happened to the Valentian Falchion, and what happened to Grima during and details about the Schism, so I say a game on that next, or an Elibe saga remake.
  11. Fire Emblem 5 is one of my absolute favorite parts from this series. Unfortunately I could have not enjoyed the story yet for playing with rubbish translation. With this translation patch the localisation issue is solved...... at least it should be. I have not used this patch yet, so I am very excited to try this one out. Anyways this playthrough will not be any special except I will recruit as many units as possible. That said not everyone can be recruited since a few units are exclusive depending on which route was picked. If you want to suggest me the route, then leave it in the comments. On the picked route I will recruit everyone (not re-recruitments). Also I will explain this game, mainly to intodruce people into this game who have not played this game but are interested in it. It can be boring, but a screenshot says a thousand word anyways. I will start upcoming weekend as I will update on every weekend for now simply because of restricted freetime during the week.
  12. Welcome! I'll be playing through the Black Eagles route, debating on doing all three as this game is quite long and I have many other RPGs in the backlog... was really nervous about posting these at first I'll be updating here as I upload (if the playlist doesnt update on its own I'll post new videos by themselves after this - will still make an update post every time I've uploaded though), this will be video only, and there's some swearing in these, so be warned. Still I really hope you enjoy these, I have lots of fun editing them!
  13. So, I have a Christian friend with whom I recently started a playthrough with. We have had some pretty nice conversations and stuff, and I thought we could play some Three Houses as friends and as commentators. He is playing sort of blind (He has only seen F!Blyeth’s B support with Cyril and the beginning of chapter 8 and it’s story details), and I am the farthest from blind about this game, sort of. I am playing on Hard Classic. I am taking care of gameplay, and he is taking care of the avatar’s decisions. Notable happenings on session 1 of gameplay (Less than an hour) in spoiler below, for space: Overall, he has liked his experiences so far, as he said that this is a pretty complex game.
  14. If you could bring in one great writer you know about to Intelligent Systems and have that writer become the lead writer for a Fire Emblem game, who would it be? Note: it doesn't have to be a video game writer (though it can be); it could also be a novelist, film/TV writer, etc. It also doesn't have to be a writer that you think, realistically, would ever get involved in writing a Fire Emblem game. My only rules for this are: 1) the writer must still be alive (J. R. R. Tolkien, Homer, etc. are not allowed), and 2) even if you are an experienced writer, you can't answer, "Me"; there's already another thread for how you would write a Fire Emblem plot. Here's my choice: Writer: Hiromu Arakawa; most well-known for being the writer and illustrator for the Fullmetal Alchemist manga. One reason that I have for this is that a lot of typical plot points in FE are things that she has shown to be able to write and write very well, going by her most notable work: The other reason that I think she would be great for Fire Emblem is that, in my opinion, a lot of FE games in recent years have had great concepts, but the refinement and the execution of those concepts have been less-than-great. Interesting stories, characters and magic systems in a story that relies a bit too much on contrivances and doesn't really explore everything it introduces to its full potential. incidentally, it's a similar problem I had with the anime Code Geass that I tried recently that led me to stop watching the show near the end of season 1 despite overall enjoying it up until that point. That, and (spoilers) One thing I loved about Path of Radiance was how refined it was; all the character interactions and story events were well-thought-through and the attention to detail was above anything I've seen since in FE (though I haven't even come close to finishing Three Houses yet, so I have no idea how it compares to PoR in that area). I think Arakawa would be great for FE because, from what I've seen of her work, she does get the details right. The attention to detail in Fullmetal Alchemist is frankly above any other piece of media that I've seen/read/played, and I think it would be great to see that level of detail in an FE game. Frankly, I would just love if, in terms of writing quality and storytelling strengths, FE was a little less Code Geass and a little more Fullmetal Alchemist.
  15. Ok...... I want to make a Edelgard plush doll, but, I don't know how to make a human plush..... Any questions?
  16. Infernal Map Not too hard~ Cheeky Flash Cleric means I will be cheeky, too~
  17. To commemorate the imminent release of TMSFE, let's do a round of which SMT/Persona (or Radiant Historia/Odin Sphere, if you so desire) character should have which FE character as their mirage. (I'm not sure whether this thread should be here or in a FE-specific thread, but anyway.) For the purpose of this excercise, the Atlus characters can have multiple mirages as their personas. My round: Persona 4: Yu: Male Robin Yosuke: not quite sure...Gatrie or Inigo maybe? Chie: Leonie/Lyn Yukiko: Lilina/L'Arachel Kanji: Ike, Hector, or Sigurd? Rise: Lalum Naoto: Lute/Soren? Teddie: Fa Nanako: Maria Marie: Idenn Tohru Adachi: Narcian Persona 3 Portable Minako: Female Robin Junpei: Hinata/Caspar Yukari: Lucina/Neimi Fuuka: Florina/ Akihiko: Dieck Mitsuru: Edelgard! Shinjiro: Rutger/Jeritza Ken: Lugh or Chad Aigis: Female Byleth Ikutsuki: Nergal Ryoji: Lyon Persona 5: Akira: Maybe Leif (Thracia 776) Masayoshi Shido: Definitely one of the senators from Radiant Dawn So, what's everyone's take?
  18. I was thinking about it in my head but should the next fe foucs on a specific culture(s) or just carry on with a european medival setting. I would personally like and african based continent or maybe and iberean continent. Also i would like the next game whereever it takes place to link a previous world to it without the use of dlc ect. what would you like the setting to be?
  19. Heyo! I'm on a quest to get some of the strongest kids you can get in this game, and through many threads and help from the advice people have given me on some of my other posts, I think I've got some great pairings; but alas, I have one last problem: Panne. I have every single character a partner, but her. The only men not taken are Kellam and Gregor, and I don't know who's a better Dad for Yarne. Thanks in advance!
  20. Heyo! I was wondering who is best for these lovely gals to marry for their kids to have really good stats and/or good abilities. IMPORTANT: Most threads I've read say to marry them to either Henry or Ricken respectively for their magic and such. I'll more than likely change Brady to some other magical class, but if Owain stays a myrmidon should he have a different father besides a magic based one? I don't really want to change his class. Thanks!
  21. Hi! I've been playing Fire emblem for years now and I've finally gotten up the guts to play lunatic in Awakening, and I was wondering who's the best marriage partner for each girl? I'm not going by support convos, I want to make all of the kids as strong as possible. BTW, my MU is a girl, but I'm pairing her with Frederick, and I'm pairing Chrom with Sumia. Both of those pairing are non-negotiable, but as far as everyone else; fire away!
  22. Hi guys, I can't believe I didn't know this website existed! I'm already having lots of fun. Anyways, nice to meet you all!
  23. Hey folks, I'm turning this thread into a video archive on my 3H videos. Chris Hackney Interview Cyril: The Character Everyone Hates, Apparently. Hanneman: A Main Character in Secret Ike, Lyn and Robin. What If They Were in Fire Emblem: Three Houses? Shamir: Deadliest Waifu Deva Marie (Voice of Flayn) Interview
  24. i did the GD route but i wasnt sure which one to choose next. i know which order u go doesnt rlly matter but i just wanna know which ones best to pick. i also heard there's a church/rhea route n if i should bother going for that one? i was gonna choose edelgard bc her route is the shortest apparently n then finally finish w dimitri ... anyways any thoughts would be appreciated ! ^^
  25. Hey, you've probably never seen me before... that's not relevant at all to what i'm about to say. Anyways, i've created and "perfected" a Fire Emblem styled roleplaying game using MS Paint and a whole lotta Google Docs pages. Now, i'm a bit tired of my usual audience running off and "having lives", so I think i'd like to take my business somewhere mostly dedicated to Fire Emblem, even though this roleplaying section isn't actually restricted to Fire Emblem. So maybe i'm gonna make a Fire Emblem Roleplay later, but for now... I think i'd rather give whoever wants to participate a taste of power; i'll make everyone be Level 20/20, and give them access to 90% of the available items to choose and equip. And then, they'll set off to wreak havoc in a map against 24-36 enemies. If you were thinking about it, no, there will be very little roleplaying and interaction involved, though you're free to make an attempt at it if you're so inclined. All you're meant to do is fight a Fire Emblem battle so I can see just how well my system functions. So... anyone up for my grand trial map?
