So, because I got bored (and I have lots of time on my hands because Power Master is almost done), I started a new YouTube series where I play my games, but with a HARDCORE twist! For those of you not familiar with the "hardcore" concept in games, it's a fan-created set of extra rules applied to a game where if you die, you stop playing. I decided to start with one of my favorite games in the Zelda franchise: The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap! Here are the rules I follow: 1. Don't die 2. No Heart Containers or Pieces of Hearts 3. So this possible (repeat: possible, not confirmed) Netflix Zelda TV show has drawn mixed reactions thus far, especially on the subject of its being live action and Link speaking. But putting that debate aside for a second, since it's live-action, who would you want to play the characters? Personally, and this is with full knowledge that it would never happen, I'd like Keanu Reeves to play Link. I mean, the whole "never-talking" thing would go well with his whole "never change expression" thing.

So I just got a 12 hole Ocarina modeled after the Ocarina of Time and am learning how to play it. After some digging around I found this site which has good tabs for various songs not just from the Zelda series but from other games as well. Currently looking for tabs for some Fire Emblem music. So I finally got around to starting Wind Waker HD yesterday since I don't have to worry about school for a while, but now I just got new games so I don't know what to play. Because of this, I will ask you, the fine denizens of Far from the Forest, which game I should play! The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD (I've finished the GC WW several times, WW is/was my favorite Zelda) The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (LttP was my first Zelda, so I am really looking forward to this) Xenoblade (which I started at a friend's house and it's pretty fun, and I'm wondering what happens next) So, vote or something. Or suggest something else.

So, anyone else see this in today's Nintendo Direct? At first glance, I thought it was an MMO with how things looked, but I'm not entirely sure that'll be the case. Either way, I thought it looked FUN. I mean, Link really stepped it up and took a level of badass here. Chucking bombs like crazy, crashing through a veritable army? I mean, seriously, that looks awesome!

My theory is that the Dark World is actually the place where u fight Demise in SS. Ghirahim created it after the sword was abandoned by Link. The trident from lttp is Ghirahim. Ghirahim was using Ganon to bring Princess Zelda to him, where he would revive Demise. Ghirahim should be the chief antagonist of lbtw.

Demise says he'll make the arena you fight him in your final resting place. I don't think it'd be that bad of one. Maybe he says it to diminish your urge to fight? (I've included a photo for tourists)
