  1. I had started Fire Emblem 12 a long time ago and played it on and off until chapter 5. This past Sunday I finally went back and continued playing it, getting all the way through it and getting the true ending. So yeah, I'll be listing the units I primarily used in order of class. (units in bold were ones used on the endgame map) Marth (Lord), Chris (Paladin), Luke (Paladin), Roderick (paladin), Cecille (Paladin), Midia (paladin), Sirius (Paladin, used only to recruit Nyna), Navarre (swordmaster), Malice (swordmaster), Samto (swordmaster), Ogma(hero), Astram (hero), Caeda (falcon knight), Palla (falcon knight), Catria (falcon knight), Merric (sage), Linde (sage), Katarina (sage), Malicia (bishop), Norne(sniper), Minerva(dracoknight), Barst(berserker), Tiki (manakete), and I did use Julian (thief) a lot due to chest looting. Also shout outs to Ryan, Gordin, and Draug, who were used for a little while before getting benched. So overall I really enjoyed this game. The music was very good (despite my emulator being crappy with music) and Endless Battle and Tearing Shadows are now near permanently placed at the top of my Fire Emblem music preferences (quite an achievement given ID Hope and much of Echoes and Sacred Stones held that). The story was really good and engaging to me once I got into it. I also liked how there was always different outcomes based on your actions despite map objectives never changing really. The assassins I really liked and felt sorry for. Overall, I'd say this game is my second favorite Fire Emblem game, right behind my personal preference of Awakening and barely ahead of Echoes and Sacred Stones.
  2. So...i'll be completing Maniac of FE12 in a few days and i want to head towards Lunatic after this. So i would like to know exactly what i'm getting into Judging by the stats of the enemies on Maniac i can only imagine the enemies will probably be capped or close to that. Most of them will have Forged weapons or something like that. So exactly. How hard is it ? I won't be using the Growth Drop or Rainbow Potion
  3. Found Out Something in FE12...

I messed around with the _ter.cmb files in Fire Emblem 12 when I found out that each item sold in the shop is labeled by name in HxD when checking the right column in the editor (text column), each entry was separated by a 00 byte and each item is labeled by name. For example, Iron Bow is "IID_IRONBOW", Javelin is "IID_HANDSPEAR" and Blizzard is "IID_BRIZZAR". Any other leads? I haven't messed around with this data yet.
  4. As you might know, I will be finishing my Randomized Fire Emblem 6 Let's Play soon. However, at the time I want to play some other games besides just that. I have a poll that I want you guys to vote on. You can also post on this forum what other games you would like to see me play! I hope you guys vote a lot for which you would want to see me play and I hope to see you all and more in the near future! :) Here is the link to my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOtD_gACSlGrSaDyxtNeGTw Here is the link to my Randomized Fire Emblem 6: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLse8DG1LjyttsJzVidFColEnsbhV09H5l
  5. Rules: - RP, Growth / Bond Drop, Mixed Reclass and base-buyable boosters are allowed. - Deaths are allowed and recruitment isn't forced. - Chapter 24 must be accessed, so that I cannot shave turns just by doing bad ending. I must enter all gaidens. (circumventing them would actually cost turns) - It's hard to put an exact limit to rigging, but expect that I will rig more stuff than a reliability-based run, but in amounts that can be considered reasonable. - How's everyone is not allowed, Drill Grounds is allowed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5ywAsj_-b0 Units to be used: The run: Forges:
  6. FE12: Correct graphical editing

Hello my fellows. As I recently finished my german translation of Fire Emblem 12 when it comes to ingame-text, I still wonder how I can successfully edit the graphics of the game. I think it must be very similar to FE11 but I could not find a guide about it either. So I am stuck at this point of development and have to ask for help. In the last 5 months I tried several tools to get results but everything failed. So if anyone is capable of helping me, I would be very grateful. This is almost the last part to finish my translation and it would be really sad if the text-graphics would be still the same. Everyone who is interested in the project can of course download the current beta from my website. I hope there is someone who can show me how to achieve this.
  7. So how much would you say lunatic reverse improves on the difficulty of the original lunatic? Does it make it much more harder or just a bit. I can't really answer as i can't even get past p3 of original lunatic.
