  1. I was wondering how much we know about the postgame... Are there any new gameplay options? Can you continue grinding? Any info would be great! Thanks!
  2. I did some research on the game and I just want to make sure that my observations are correct so far. I get the feeling that the post game is nothing compared to Awakening and Fates. #1 There is no reclassing, so once a Villager picks a promotion path, it is permanent (e.g. if Faye goes Pegasus Knight, she cannot change to a Cleric later). #2 The exceptions to #1 are the two Pitchfork items and the male Dread Fighter loop. However, moving out of the loop from Villager to a non-Mercenary class is permanent. #3 Except for the Dread Fighter loop, it will be impossible to cap a unit's stats if their level is too high and I equipped the Starsphere too late. And even with the Starsphere, resistance will still be difficult to cap for non-Dread Fighters. #4 Stat boost fountains have limited uses, i.e. they cannot be abused to cap everyone's stats. #5 Stat gains are RNG based, i.e. it can be abused to cap everyone's resistance stat. #6 Some items can only be obtained once (or in limited amounts) per save file, and I can never get them again during the post-game or through DLC. (Does the DLC drop Dracoshields? Or can I only get it by beating Desaix? Are there any other items that can only be obtained in limited quantities per save file, like Boots in Awakening and Fates?) #7 There is no meaningful multiplayer interaction. The only multiplayer elements are exchanging Profile Cards, participate in Rankings, and StreetPass other people. #8 I cannot have both Deen and Sonya on the same file. #9 I can only get the 7-Eleven items on my Japanese game if I go to Japan. If most of #1 to #7 is true, I think I will just beat the game quickly and cap the Dread Fighters before going back to collecting skills in Fates.
  3. These are items that aren't obtainable through map shops or legacy teams, but can be sold on StreetPass teams. They're only sold by Anna shops/StreetPass teams or are obtained from Barracks/sparkling tile events - basically, you can't get as many as you want at any time. The items I know of are: Superior weapons, glass weapons, Dying Blaze, 1 Mt joke weapons, Rapier, Soothing Sword, Shockstick, Miniature Lance, Volant Axe, Orsin's Hatchet, Towering Bow, Underdog Bow, Wilderwind, Aversa's Night, Hammerne, Kneader, Balmsood Staff, Catharsis, Sweet Tincutre, keys, Arms Scroll, permanent stat boosters, confects, Tiki's Tear, Seed of Trust, Rift Door, Did I accidentally put one on their incorrectly or am I missing anything? I ask because I'd like to put a lot of these items on my StreetPass team for others to be able to purchase, and hopefully you'll put these on your StreetPass shop to help out others!
  4. I don't own Awakening yet but do plan on picking it up eventually. I planned some setups and pairings for the characters I plan to use to tackle the harder DLC, including not only Apotheosis but also Death's Embrace, Roster Rescue, etc. Since I have multiple possible setups for some characters, I put them in spoiler tags for easier reading. The pairings: Chrom x Sumia Lissa x Henry Sully x Donnel Miriel x Gregor Mariabelle x Ricken Panne x Fredrick Cordelia x Stahl Nowi x Gaius Tjarka x Avatar Olivia x Virion Cherche x Vaike The Sets: [spoiler=Lucina] Tank Set Class:Paladin Limit Breaker Pavise Aegis Galeforce Rightful King Attacking Set Class: Dark Flier Limit Breaker Tomefaire Galeforce Aether Rightful King [spoiler=Cynthia] Unorthodox Set Class: Bow Knight Limit Breaker Galeforce Dual Guard+ Luna Bowfaire Pure Offense Set Class: Dark Flier Limit Breaker Tomefaire Galeforce Aether Luna Gurerilla Set Class: Sniper Limit Breaker Bowfaire Dual Guard+ Luna Galeforce [spoiler=Owain] Default Set Class: Dark Knight Galeforce Aggressor Tomefaire Lifetaker Limit Breaker [spoiler=Kjelle] Flexible Tank Set Class: Hero Galeforce Swordfaire Armsthrift Luna (swap for Sol in non-Apotheosis DLC) Limit Breaker [spoiler=Brady] Default Set Class: Sage Galeforce Tomefaire Aggressor Dual Guard+ Limit Breaker [spoiler=Severa] Physical Set Class: Assassin Galeforce Vantage Armsthrift Astra Limit Breaker Nosfertank Severa Class: Sorceror Galeforce Armsthrift Vantage Vengeance Limit Breaker [spoiler=Nah] Default Tank Set Class: Manakete Galeforce Sol Vantage Deliverer Limit Breaker [spoiler=Inigo] Default Set Class: Assassin Galeforce Swordfaire Astra Vantage Limit Breaker Secondary Attack Set Class: Berserker Galeforce Axefaire Astra (Sol on non-Apotheosis maps) Aggressor Limit Breaker Guerilla Set Class: Sniper Galeforce Aggressor Bowfaire Astra Limit Breaker [spoiler=Yarne] Physical Support Set Class: Berserker Axefaire Aggressor Dual Guard+ Luna Limit Breaker Mobile Support Set Class: Griffon Rider Deliverer Dual Guard+ Luna Aggressor Limit Breaker [spoiler=Laurent] Nosfertank Set Class: Sorceror Armsthrift Vantage Tomefaire Vengeance Limit Breaker [spoiler=Gerome] Support Set Class: Berserker Axefaire Aggressor Pass Deliverer Limit Breaker [spoiler=Noire] Nosfertank Set Galeforce Armsthrift Vengeance Luna Limit Breaker [spoiler=Morgan] Attack Set Galeforce Armsthrift Ignis Luna Limit Breaker [spoiler=Chrom] Support Set Class: Bow Knight Bowfaire Dual Strike+ Dual Guard+ Aggressor Limit Breaker [spoiler=Avatar] Staffbot Class: Sage Tomefaire All Stats +2 Magic +2 Sol Limit Breaker [spoiler=Sumia] Versatile Set Class: Dark Flier Galeforce Luna Dual Guard+ Iote's Shield Limit Breaker [spoiler=Cordelia] Default Set Galeforce Lancefaire Armsthrift Sol Limit Breaker [spoiler=Olivia] Default Set Class: Dancer Galeforce Special Dance Pass Swordfaire Limit Breaker [spoiler=Gregor] The Scout Class: Assassin Vantage Swordfaire Astra Armsthrift Limit Breaker The Heavy Class: Berserker Aggressor Axefaire Armsthrift Astra Limit Breaker [spoiler=Legion] Rallybot Class: Berserker Dual Support+ Rally Strength Rally Spectrum Rally Defense Limit Breaker [spoiler=Spotpass!Katarina] Rallybot Class: Trickster Galeforce Rally Speed Rally Spectrum Rally Heart Limit Breaker I think if I'm not playing for Apotheosis, I'll remove Limit Breaker from everyone and replace it with a different skill. This should allow for more interesting sets. Thoughts? Any pairings I should swap around or nix? Any sets that should be used or edited? Give me your input.
