  1. Hello guys, it has been a while doesn't it? Today I bring you my first go on nightmare modules: A rebalance project on FE:Gaiden You see, some days ago I tried to play this old gem since echoes it's so far away from my hands and I just drop it at the beggining of CH3. Some could say it was the difficulty, but what really brush me in the wrong way was the fact that you need to grind in order to avoid frustration in the near future, and I really hate games with that kind of mindset, so I decided to give it whirl and make it better. The changes in general are: - Growths and base stats/class outside of Alm and Celica have been reworker: Now several characters have an actual chance to get better without the game being a dick with blank lvls in general. The total growths I choose were: *Protagonists: 210% *Unmounted units: 180% *Mounted units: 170% * Mages: 165% *All villagers, Kamui , Saber, Jesse, Sonia and Deen: 160% *Teeta/Zeke: 150% *Mycen/Nomah: 100% All growths try to ensure that every member in your team can contribute when they join while at the same time characters of the same class won't have the same performance - Several weapons were balanced to justify their use long-term: - Some spells got nerfed in the hp cost, might and weight since now most mages have lower hp: - All classes bases were revisited and changed in order to avoid horrible harassment in the later chapter (for example, now bow knight cannot outright destroy anyone in a 13 radium). This also mean other enemies got buff (in the skl department to be precise) to make up for it - I added and new object somewhere and changed places existing ones in the party: - New palettes for both player and enemy units: With this out of the way, here's the file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8h8ayi9rb07cwt1/Fe Gaiden - Mila's Retribution.ips?dl=0 (It should work with artemis english translation) *Gameplay done. There are a few things I would like to do however: - Tweak all potraits ingame so they look as good as Camus Zeke - Maybe learn how edit music so after CH4 and onwards the 2nd player battle theme plays out - Some changes were made midway into the game, so maybe later I will give it a roll again to check things thoroughly If anyone can give me some feedback and suggestions, I would be glad (Edit): Have a look here and marvel to our brand new saviors of Valencia:
  2. FE Playthroughs and More!

https://www.twitch.tv/gigisimmons If anyone is interested in finding a new chill spot to enjoy some FE playthroughs, come hang sometime. FE won't be the only game I will stream of course, but at the moment I mostly stream that. Come watch me mess up! No capture card at the moment, but I'll eventually stream a variety of games I have in my game library. I have a bunch of systems to play off of ranging from retro to brand new. Either way, come chill sometime, it will be great to have you there! Starting a playthrough for Fire Emblem on the GBA and Fire Emblem Sacred Stones. I'll be going back and forth between the two and FE: Path of Radiance which I already started. Come hang out, enjoy the nostalgia!

Hello everyone, It's great to discover a community like this. I was referenced by a viewer during one of my streams of FE and I had no clue of this site. Seems really cool and a lot of good information to be found. I have always loved playing Fire Emblem ever since I was a child. My first FE was FE: Sacred Stones and I played that through at least a few times. Still had trouble getting ever one in the game! Anyways, I stream a variety of games if anyone is interested in finding a new chill spot online. At the moment GameCube games is all I have been streaming. I'm getting a capture card soon and I plan on streaming all PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo systems. I'll probably get the GameBoy emulator running soon as well. So that finishes my introduction. I really did not know what to put here except my interests in video games, but I guess that's appropriate since this site is based on video games. Hope everyone's enjoying life and I hope to talk to you sometime on here or during one of my streams. https://www.twitch.tv/gigisimmons
  4. So if you have been around Gamestop.com lately you will have noticed that they are now selling retro titles, consoles, and accessories from the NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, PS1, and Dreamcast. http://www.gamestop.com/collection/retro-classics They are not yet selling them in store unfortunately but the prices are pretty similar to amazon and ebay if not slightly more expensive for some titles. Console packages are not too bad although NES, SNES are not in stock. To be honest it doesn't really save you any money and the prices are not the best. Further adding problems is that other than the consoles they don't detail all you are getting (manual case etc). I was kind of hoping they would move towards having this stuff in store given the surge in popularity in retro titles. While it would take up shelf space I do think it would behoove them in an age of digital downloads to sell retro stuff physically in the store. Moreover being a bigger chain company they can afford to sell these things for much less than mom and pop shops and still profit off it which perplexes me as to why they are not cheaper (yes I know they want to maximize profit but if you're offering the same price as everyone else then there is no incentive to buy your stuff over others). Anyhow check it out see if you find anything you fancy.
  5. I don't normally like to just repost articles but this struck my eye as I have a fancy and hobby for collecting now. Gamestop is launching a pilot to buy and sell classic games, systems, and controllers dating back to the NES. The pilot will start on April 25th at which time they will accept trade ins for about 2 months to build up an inventory. Currently it is slated to launch in 250 store locations in the NYC and Birmingham markets. http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/04/15/gamestop-to-offer-classic-consoles-and-games I fell pretty conflicted about this. On one hand if this becomes a hit and they do this across all their locations then it can make finding older games like Path of Radiance easier to find and not to mention cheaper than they go for on ebay sure they'd sell it to you for like $50 used but compare that to paying over $100 for a complete set. On the other hand if this does become big it'll be a major blow if not fatality to small mom and pop shops who deal in this kind of thing which kinda sucks. I didn't really see them coming out to do this as I always kinda thought of gamestop as keeping with the times and at most selling stuff a generation behind. However, the more I think about it with things like digital downloads, license keys, and the ebbing away of physical copies in new games I could see how this makes sense and is another avenue that they are trying to make money.

Karin, Trabant, Halvan RULES THAT YOU MUST FOLLOW: No mass Customization. You may custom a bit to make your mug look good/making it work, such as reshading, but try not to go overboard. You can use any color palette. You aren't chained to FE colors, go ahead and recolor to your hearts content. Only use the set given, no other mugs. Recommended color limit: 16 (15 on your mug +1 for background). This is a flexible rule, but be cautious with your color count as a general rule of thumb for good pixel art. The winner will be determined by voting. If there is a tie, the poll will be edited to include only the ties, and re-voted upon. Don't vote for yourself or I will cry sad tears devoid of mod power. Hosts may enter contests. Only 1 mug per member. Winner of the contest will choose the next set (and should select an interesting/spliceable combination). Deadline: Sunday, March 30th, 2014. Have fun!
