  1. I get the feeling a good bit of you here have played D&D in the past, especially the older members. I want to get into Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition, I just need the books. I have the wikia page favorited, but I am abiding by how it does not replace the books. I have plenty of B-day/Christmas money to get plenty. Anyone interested in playing when I am ready? Edit: We can also discuss our experiences in tabletop games, including notable stories.
  2. I am currently looking for collaborators on a project to create simple, Fire Emblem themed miniatures for use in tabletop games or possibly say, a themed chess board. I have purchased a 3D printer and spent the necessary time fine tuning it, and I am confident it is up to the task! But now I need some help! I'm looking for someone with experience creating digital 3D models to help bring this vision to life. I am willing to pay for commission designs or if you'd like I'd be happy to print out some of your other designs and send them to you in return. Let us be allies in this project! My ambition is to create simple, generic ones, in the style of the old GBA battle sprites for each class. etc. They don't need to be immensely detailed or very high polygon. (: I think it would be great if we could bring some of the charm the GBA sprites had to real life. ^^ If you're interested in joining forces or know someone who might be let me know! Send me a message or we can talk here in the topic. You can also send me an email at cirquemakalii@gmail.com And if anyone else has any Fire Emblem 3D models they want to see brought to life, I'm just itching to print things! ^^
  3. hello, im not really sure if this is the right place to post this so... anyway. me and a friend of mine are making our own campaign setting for pathfinder with inspiration from fire emblem. we are pretty much done with the first draft of it and our first game in it is pretty much gonna be playtesting. i was wondering if anyone wanted to help us with by looking at it for balance changes or if you wanted to play it yourself. we aren't planning on selling it or publishing it or anything like that, this is just for fun. if anyone wants to see it or help let me know :)
  4. So, I posted on here a while back about my Fire Emblem d100 all the way back here and I haven't really posted anything about it since then. So what happened? Well, I ended up doing a major overhaul of the entire system, changing it around (and removing all of the "Fire Emblem" brand name so it can be published as its own thing, but it still mimics the series in regards to game mechanics and stays true to the series in many aspects). I made the QUARTS SRD for the purpose of making it easy to access, easy to read, and most of all easy to use. Before, people needed to download the PDF which was available but required signing up for the sites which had the PDF available. Since not everyone is willing to download the system, I figured it'd be best to consolidate it to a full site and make everything available in one place. I've done about a year or so of testing for this system (combining the testing time of FEd100 and QUARTS together since one lead to another), and ultimately I think the game is at a point where I'm satisfied at...for now. The system as it is now is meant to take aspects from many of the different games in the series. It includes branched promotion, 3rd tier classes, advanced classes (1-30 but don't promote), Shifters (they fill in the Laguz/Manakete/etc. role), the trinity of magic from the GBA games, SS Rank weapons, and recruit classes from FE8. Some of the new additions include the following: alternate rules to change the playstyle of the game, abilities which characters gain that are similar to skills, Stamina Point and Magic Point systems which power some abilities characters gain, many different races to pick from, Gunslingers (matchbox/flintlock guns), roleplay skills such as Athletics and Deception, and a Bestiary with ways to create monsters of each type. I'm looking for opinions from people, and if people actually decide to run it I'd like to know how it went and if people feel the system is similar enough to Fire Emblem for their tastes or if it strays too far. The Roll20 character sheet for the system is here.
  5. HELLO SERENES FOREST! TacticsEmblem here to give you guys an introduction to a project I have been working on all summer. Dungeons & Emblems is a multiplayer Fire Emblem I crafted in Excel and Google Sheets. It has been no easy task, but I finally wrote enough information to actually play the game! New features are often being added, so expect expansion packs. Here are some of the features in this game so far: 56 jobs, each with three ranks, distributed between 7 classes: Soldier, Mercenary, Occultist, Mystic, Outlaw, Performer, and Noble. 7 types of physical arms: Sword, Lance, Axe, Bow, Knife, and new Caestus and Staff (for healers to bonk their enemies with). 8 types of magic spells: Staff, Fire, Wind, Water, Thunder, Light, Darkness, and Geomancy. 2 types of performance: Song and Dance Many Heavy Armors, Light Armors, Shields, Boots, and Accessories 20 personality types, each offering a unique set of bonuses for support units 175 Skills 17 status ailments, more ways to inflict them, and RNG rolls to do so Neat experience table 50 levels of character growth Features coming soon (once I recover the info from my HDD): Monsters, some actually original, most borrowed from myth, legend, literature, and other games. An original world map Some mostly original characters 2 types of crafting, Alchemy and Enchantment 4 types of summon spells: Necromancy, Demonology, Hagiology, and Animation Changes and Omissions (based on features found in GBA and GC versions of Fire Emblem): No character constitution or weight, and therefore no rescuing or shoving No biorhythm No Laguz Magic stat renamed to Intelligence, Skill stat renamed to Dexterity, Resistance shortened to Resist Items like Vulnerary can be used on units, rather than used BY them (think Final Fantasy Tactics) Spell tomes don't degrade if they miss. Difference in experience award between mere survival/missing and avoiding, and between killing and one-hit killing Physical damage weapons with elemental attributes That's all I can think of right now. I'm interested in questions, comments, and concerns anyone might have about this project. I have been working pretty hard on it, and it's still being tested and developed, so any volunteers would be appreciated. I'll post some files later, maybe in an hour so hang tight.
  6. Hello hello people! If you're reading this, I'm assuming you're fans of tabletop RPGs and Fire Emblem. I know of a few tabletop Fire Emblem RPGs out there but a lot of them aren't being updated or haven't had progress on them since 2013 at the latest. So! I had made my own a few months back using fed20 as a base, and building upon that and expanding. Currently I'm moving the content from my old site onto my new one as listed below. Old Site New Site I'm still in the process of moving things over, then organizing everything to look all fine and dandy. Currently I need to move over the Generic NPC Guide and the Holy Blood alternate rules. If anybody has any suggestions or comments on this, please feel free to share them! And by all means, if you have any criticisms be sure to voice them (though try to be constructive).
