I mean, to be fair, i literally just started the series. I'm almost done with the first Sky game (at the final boss) and other than that, i know nothing about Trails aside from the fact that it's all one big continuity and the order goes Sky > Crossbell (which never got localized) > Cold Steel the Hedgehog.
