Also called FE7x. Which is not even a hack what is it doing in "ROM Hacking"

FE7x is a prequel to Blazing Sword. Normally there would be a blob of text here about the story and features and stuff, but the FE7x site pretty much covers all of that handily. So instead have a bunch of screenshots and a video.

Yay for my favorite Fire Emblem game! Even if it's not official!

I wonder if the lagging issues are fixed...

I am definitely not a suck-up

This has to be the most impressive Fire Emblem game I've seen. Really.

Didn't this game get an official award from Nintendo as one of the best fan-games around at some point in time?

No? It was in a Nintendo-themed fan game competition, got second of 40ish by votes.

Ah, okay. Makes sense.

I think something's up. It repeatedly shows this error.

Well, every time an enemy Peg Knight finishes its move, this error appears. (in case you needed to know)

I just noticed in the one screenshot(?), the numbers change whenever a skill activates. I think that's pretty impressive (the whole game is impressive). how long did it take to do that?

About a day, after I decided it should happen

'Man it is impossible to tell how much damage Luna does when it activates until it hits, if only I could do something about that.'

Updated version is out, 0.291.

Fixed the bugs that've been mentioned so far, and added generic faces for some of the enemy classes.

Holy mother of god...

o_O

O_O

I've been trying to tinker with RPG Maker XP for like the past couple of months to try doing something like this with zero results, and here you are, with what is likely an FE which is better then the original FEs themselves.

How did you do it? blink.gif

Edit: Nevermind. Found out that it was my own bloody DEP messing things up. Sorry for taking your time.

@Wen Yang, I feel compelled to answer a question you didn't ask me--

How did you do it?

Lots and lots of hard work, tons of hard work, probably more work than I've spent on hacking, spriting, and making videos COMBINED. Which is a lot. I'm saying this because I respect hard work a lot~

It's reasonable to say that we will need spriters for the entire course of the project; the duration of which will be largely determined by the volunteers we have on hand. I could therefore say that there is no real time limit on this deal, and that we might not stop accepting applications at all.
