Also called FE7x. Which is not even a hack what is it doing in "ROM Hacking"


FE7x is a prequel to Blazing Sword. Normally there would be a blob of text here about the story and features and stuff, but the FE7x site pretty much covers all of that handily. So instead have a bunch of screenshots and a video.

No? It was in a Nintendo-themed fan game competition, got second of 40ish by votes.

I think something's up. It repeatedly shows this error.

I just noticed in the one screenshot(?), the numbers change whenever a skill activates. I think that's pretty impressive (the whole game is impressive). how long did it take to do that?

About a day, after I decided it should happen

Updated version is out, 0.291.
Fixed the bugs that've been mentioned so far, and added generic faces for some of the enemy classes.

I've been trying to tinker with RPG Maker XP for like the past couple of months to try doing something like this with zero results, and here you are, with what is likely an FE which is better then the original FEs themselves.

Lots and lots of hard work, tons of hard work, probably more work than I've spent on hacking, spriting, and making videos COMBINED. Which is a lot. I'm saying this because I respect hard work a lot~

It's reasonable to say that we will need spriters for the entire course of the project; the duration of which will be largely determined by the volunteers we have on hand. I could therefore say that there is no real time limit on this deal, and that we might not stop accepting applications at all.
