Wikipedia says it's a fruit. And no, it's not a moronic hipster hippy thing to call it a fruit.

Wikipedia can be wrong or vandalised, y'know. Also, it totally is, common sense says they're veggies, listen to common sense.

That's stupid, they're totally veggies, it's some sort of moronic hipster hippy thing to say they're fruit. Are you a moronic hipster hippy?

tomatoes have the characteristics of fruit. cucumbers, squash, and the like all count as fruit. one of the defining factors being that they grow above ground.

EDIT: OH! almost forgot!

Tomato grenade!

Tomatoes and Cucumbers taste like and are cooked/served/eaten like vegetables, thus they ARE vegetables.

scientifically a fruit.

*banana cannon*

And by common sense/common knowledge and by cooking standards, it's a vegetable, which matters far more.

This kind of bullshit is why I gave up on Biology.
