A great part of a bgm's appeal is how well it manages to set the mood of a scene. Persona 3's final boss theme is one of the best final themes of all time (OF ALL TIME), though. Also I had to. XD Here are some good tracks (although I prefer the DoS versions for some odd reason): As mentioned in the comments of the second one, the "Arabian" motif is probably there because Palamecia is located in a desert; I can't really think of any other song with this theme in the FF series...although I haven't played 9 or 11. I personally like this theme better than the R/B/Y version only because of the varying tempos. It really makes the piece more interesting. God fucking damnit I cannot begin to tell the amount of times I've just let the battle last longer so I can listen to this epic theme. Words cannot describe how brilliant this theme is. The Genesis version of this game had so much better sound than the SNES version. I wish I had the Genesis version of this theme somewhere, it's so much better. Or until I learnt how to cheese every single boss fight in FFV, and essentially kill 89% of everything before they get the chance to move. Yes, yes, I know, it's a well known, mainstream song, but meh, I still enjoy it. I was going to post the normal boss fight music, or the mountain dungeon music, but I can't lie to myself, I like Gilgamesh no matter how many 13 year old boys make out with their posters of him and quote him non-stop.
