Jave Posted July 27, 2012 Share Posted July 27, 2012 (edited) This is my first screenshot run here on Serenes (I had one on another site that eventually died), but here's hoping this one works out. Here are the grounds rules for it: - As the title says, this is a Roy+Girls Run. Roy and all the female characters are free to use. - Roy's potential lovers (Thany, Sue, Lilina, Lalum, Cecilia and Sophia) are forced on every map once they join. They don't get to sit out. - Marcus is free until I can build a full team of girls, whenever that happens. - Male characters required to recruit female characters are free to use for that. (Noah for Fir, Klein for Tate) - Chad and Astol are free for chest-opening until Cath joins. - Game will be played on Normal. I'm not that good at FE6 and there's no way I'm forcing myself to use Sophia on Hard Mode. - Left Village Route (Lalum and Echidna over Elphin and Bartre) and Ilia Route (Juno over Dayan) - This is not an efficiency run. If some of the early maps give me too much trouble I will use some male units to make it past them. I will also use male units for visiting villages in the early maps. - Think of this as a casual run I want to share with you guys. I will try to use male units as least as possible, and try to get relatively low turn counts, but I won't break my brain trying to achieve the absolute minimum. I definitely won't abuse the RNG or farm 60 turns every map to build supports. Promotion Items, how do they work? - 1 Hero Crest (No problem here. Fir gets it) - 1 Knight Crest (Probably the only advantage Wendy has in a girls run) - 2 Orion's Bolt (Sue and Dorothy. This means I have to make sure Klein's troops survive. That part might suck) - 3 Elysian Whips (Thany, Tate and Miledy. I can get these all quite early if I can make Tate's troops survive) - 4 Guiding Rings (Lilina, Ellen, Clarine and Sophia. This will suck. I'm pretty much forced to buy one in Chapter 16) I will post Chapter 1 later today. Marcus mostly cleans up the road for Roy. Yeah, that's pretty much overkill. Wolt's only contribution to this map was to get some cash. Pretty much done already. These guys can't stand a chance against Marcus. By the way, they say that the first level up of an FE run is indicative of how that run is going to fare. Well, I'm fucked. At least here's the proof I'm not manipulating the RNG. He never stood a chance. And we're done. She's probably wearing a chastity belt. She has nice base speed, but it'll never grow. Roy's good at dodging axes, I'll give him that. Here's Sailor Mercury Thany. She's Roy's first potential bride, and while she starts rather weak she can grow to be great. Too bad Peg Knights are pretty bleh in this game. More exp for Roy. This is FE6, so there will be ton of healing opportunities. Ellen will grow fast. This will come useful later on. Start training Thany right away. That strength needs to grow. Oh, for... are you kidding me here? OK, all the guys are out of enemy territory. Time for Marcus to clean up and for the rest to steal some kills. Of course this is FE6 and its BS hit rates. You better make up for those two horrible level ups. At least Ellen gets some exp from Roy's pain. Just some Marcus dodging and cleaning. Nothing new. Roy could learn from her. She still needs strength, though. More Marcus overkill. Perfect. Now Roy can steal the boss kill. What the...? Marcus' first level up is better than Roy's first two level ups put together. And of course, this happens in a run where I HAVE to drop Marcus later on. OK Roy, you got another level up with that kill, please don't let me down this time... ...OK, I can live with that. One last healing for Ellen before we seize so that she can level up. Expected for her. More Magic is a good thing. And that's it. Alan and Lance are being used in this map to get Lugh for his weapon. Nothing else. By the way, Ellen is pretty good at dodging. And Thany gets more exp. Marcus keeps cleaning the road. Not that I have much of a choice. Lilina will use that Fire tome later. That's going straight to Ellen. Marcus cleans the way for Chad so he can get the treasure. Random toss. Random stab. Random heal. Marcus needs to weaken this guy so Roy can steal the kill. Meanwhile, Chad loots stuff. That's a welcome miss. Enough for Roy to Rapier this guy to death. Wha? Ellen, your levels ups aren't supposed to be this awesome! I'll admit, Roy's critical animation is pretty cool. Hope this yields a good level up. NOW we're talking. And seize! Healer-on-healer ACTION. Marcus is still at it. Wish the Jeigan in this game was a woman but what can you do. I've seen better from you, Ellen. Buying a couple of these, just in case. Got all the villages, by the way. Just forgot to screencap the other two. That's nice. Ah, the PERFECT weakening. So Thany gets the boss kill. Nice, but don't forget about the strength. I checked your Roy, and he's about 1 point below the average in most stats, so not that screwed, but still screwed. the HP of lv. 8-9, strength of lv. 6, skill of lv. 7, speed of lv. 3-4, luck of level 7-8, defense of lv. 5, resistance of level 3-6.
