Our jokes will run stale and they'll replace us with funnier villains!" Camdar cowered in fear, there was only so much abuse he could take. He too was sick of losing, and badly at that. It didn't help that he got punished every time, regardless of how much it was his fault. Suddenly, a new thread appeared, with a whole new generation. Will this series be as successful despite Shin getting less screentime? Will victory be as satisfactory when it isn't Horita and Camdar failing? Probably not, but here it goes! The sun was shining and the denizens were going about their business as usual. Life was peaceful. Over three months had passed since Horita Repulsa's most recent attempt to take over the Forest. Nearly four months since Breezy Shadowpants had last shown his face. At least half a year since Frosty's failed revenge on Integriman and the Folgore Rangers. Serenes Forest had been too quiet. The defenders of the Forest had become distant from one another, finding solace in other activities and people. The Folgores spent less time hanging out together, training their powers, assembling at headquarters – which was located in Imp's garage – and had lost contact with their allies. With no threat to the continued safety of Serenes Forest, the Folgore Rangers had all but disbanded. Eliedon grew more and more worried as the days went on without incident. He knew that the Forces of Evil would not rest until they saw Serenes Forest destroyed or conquered. They would not have simply given up. But the city's protectors, having let down their guards in the midst of a long period of tranquility, were now at their most vulnerable. It was the calm before the storm.
