omglmaowtf
Playing from P1 to mid-chapter 4, none of my characters' level up had more that 2 stat gains (and I do know one stat gain is the new minimum, 0 stat-up levels are no more in newer FEs) The GBA FEs' growths weren't this bad, FE 9/10's growths were better than the GBA ones, & FE1DS dynamic growths were even better Did IS revert back to the RNG of FE 5 & 4 for New Mystery? (and before anyone comes in with pemn, please show a 0% growths complete playthrough of H1)
Icon of Sin
Growths in this game are generally higher than in FE11 except for Wolf and Sedgar actually. Compare yourself. Shit happens even with higher growths.
a.f.k.a. Howard Hughes
This game actually is FE1DS growths on steroids. Everyone is buffed up in growths. Expect Sedgar/Wolf. And dynamics are still a thing. SO yeah, you just have bad luck
omglmaowtf
So is there any way to manipulate this game's RNG to get more stats out of per level up, like how it was possible with GBA FEs' arrows?
Icon of Sin
The map save points can do that. If you don't mind using save states, try attacking from a different square or wait a minute, since the level up RNG is partly based on the clock. mmKALLL
At least in FE11, just waiting doesn't help anything - it only matters when starting the game, at which point a seed is chosen with some calculations from the clock at that point of time. I'm not savvy with how FE12 works though, so I'm not entirely sure whether waiting helps. However, you could map save before attacking an enemy or enemies and then reset until you find a pattern which leads to most stats on level ups. On another note, 0-stat gain level-ups are definitely possible to happen in FE11/12. Just very unlikely, especially in FE12.
Enex
"FE with the worst growths since FE4 Gen1?" Shadow Dragon maybe... Edited January 19, 2013 by Enex
Flying Shogi
Try using save states and different weapons that will vary your hit. This is something noticed when my characters died on Lunatic. It seems like when you level up using different weapons that will not yield 100% hit on your opponent(sometimes just different weapons is enough. 100% hit might not matter too much as long as you use different weapons) will get you a different level up most of the time. It's not a perfect science but it is worth a try. Edited January 19, 2013 by MagicLugh
MacLovin
I thought fe2 had the worst growths.
riariadne
Yeah, FE2 growths are pretty much awful in every way. FE11 growths are for the most part pretty good, though. Just really bad luck on your part.

Thor Odinson
Considering Hunter Draug has an absymally high speed growth (75%) and decent to good all around other growths, you just got really unlucky with that level.
Icon of Sin
In fact : FE11 Hunter!Draug : 40% HP/25% Str/35% Skl/65% Spd/30% Luk/5% Def FE12 Hunter!Draug : 60% HP/45% Str/45% Skl/75% Spd/40% Luk/30% Def You might as well just try save stating for better level ups. Wander
I just got three 0 stat level ups in the same map in FE11, so I'm not sure what to think.

ReiKusanagi
Doesn't leveling at the training grounds promise some stat ups at least? But it does sound like you're very unlucky.
Raven the Obsidian
I once got a blank level in FE12... ...with Catria. No stats capped, either.
shadykid
I once got a blank level in FE12... ...with Catria. No stats capped, either. .126% chance as a pegasus knight sounds bad, but that's slightly more likely than missing a 98% hit with the true hit system Edited April 11, 2013 by shadykid
