Chapter 5 - 4/30

Merric got a +3 Iron Lance forge titled "Lancelot".

Pretty good. Hardin kind of rocks right now, although I'm sure a Curate reclass will fix that. Lame. Jagen charged the Cavs near spawn before running off to heal. He ended up missing one so the cav spent the rest of his time chasing generics around the map. Pushed Mage!Shiida to the boss, making a massive wall to protect her and Marth, and KOed with Scorch, and a finish from Silver Lance Hardin.

Chapter 4- 7/24 turns

Well, this chapter wasn't...too bad. Man my team blows! Except Jeigan. I forged a +3 might +9% crit Abel Slayer for Cain (how else do you think Abel died), and everyone rushed to the left, really my only unit who could kill anything was Jeigan, everyone else had to team up on weaker enemies for a turn...or two. I'm surprised I managed to finish this chapter at all!

Chapter 5- 5/29 turns

This chapter was ballz. First I forged +3 might + 9 crit axe for Castor...the mighty SNORLAXE. Jeigan really needed to kill the Cavalier lot on turn 1, because there was no way anyone else on my team could do it. This left his positioning where the boss was concerned to be more difficult than necessary. Did I mention how hard it was to keep Roshe and Biraku alive? Also the boss was an asshat, thankfully

Jeigan doubled. If he didn't like that one time the boss procced SPD, I'd have to bring like...Wendell over to kill the boss, yeah it's that bad. Also...

Chapter 6 - 8/38

Forged an Iron Bow named Hitman for Barst. This helped him 2HKO Cavs, proving vital to me saving the treasure.

Jagen ran the front, with Hardin behind healing him up. Everyone moved up at a brisk pace, taking out pretty much every threat (and none threat, in the case of thieves) on the way. Gordin and Barst ended up left behind so the duo killed the Cavaliers behind General!Wolf, and managed to stop everything from escaping. Shiida, Marth Jagen and Merric stormed the throne room, thanks to generics outside dividing the attention of the enemies. Shiida and Jagen dropped the boss.

Aims of the Chapter:

Make Marth not suck.

Hit D Lances with Merric.

Hit D Bows with Barst.

Hit D Swords with Sedgar.

I think I accomplished the last three, not sure about the former. Sedgar downed two levels so he's a little more capable now.

Missed stats, meh. I'll write up Chapter 7 later.

Chapter 6- 6/35 turns

Forge- HEAT HEAT (+3 might, 9% crit)

I hate this chapter. Oh lord, do I hate this chapter so. Marth going to the throne was quite troublesome on his own, but his meatshields made it not so bad. And his Rapier utility was clutch I HATE KNIGHTS ESPECIALLY DARROS. Jeigan was god as usual, running ahead of everyone and taking care of enemies (but not too many because arghhhh this chapter), and he finished off bossman too. The mages weren't too bad, unlike Darros, man he sure sucked. Gordin actually helped in picking off thieves, Castor was kinda helpful, and uh...oh yeah, Cain! He was so bro, sniping at the throne room from the corner, otherwise Jeigan would be fucked.

Oh, and I missed the Armorslayer. And the Master Key. And the 10k Bullion. I don't think it was worth it, but fuck doing chapter 6 again.

Chapter 6x- FREE/35 turns

My objectives-

Make Marth a badass

Get Cain some of them levels

Get Jeigan C Swords for...I hate myself.

Get Darros D Lances

Buff Castor's axe rank as much as possible

Chapter 1 8/8 turns

Jagen, Cain, Marth and Doga go rush. Had Jagen use the sliver lance to hurt all these pirate mooks hard. thankfully, he dodged some :D

Jagen gets the boss kill and I didn't get the 10k village. oh well.

Chapter 2 6/14 turns

yess ogma. everyone ran left. ogma kills pirates, marth killed cavs with rapier, and jagen was a boss with da sliver lance

ogma crit the boss then cain and jagen finish him off.

Chapter 7 - 7/45

Forged InSHINerate. No points for guessing what weapon it is.

I'm still relying on Jagen way too much. Marth gets the Robe, and everyone runs down. Barst is godly taking down fliers, while Gordin... hopes they attack someone else as they OHKO him. Lovely. Jagen burns through a lot of Ridersbane here to cut through to the boss. Shiida burnt the boss over 2 turns and Jagmaster finished with Silver.

New SF made making stats harder than it should have been. Also, Hardin's magic isn't a typo.

Chapter 8 - 6/51

Why do I all of my strats involve running Shiida and Jagen to the boss? I really need to get Jagmaster to C swords at some point.

Radd shopped, everyone else ran up. I had a neat little position with Merric, Marth and Jagen that resulted in 1 Cav attacking Marth, and 3 suiciding on the Ridersbane. Shiida killed Roger, if only he'd been in the place where the other knight was. The daring trio ran through, while Barst lured out a Horseman and the reinforcements showed. I killed a pair of Horseman, and got a lot of levels. Most of them sucked though, especially Merric's.

Damnit Merric, get some strength already.

Chapter 9 - 5/56
Jagen went Draco, and I forged the Raddkiller for Caesar. Remember the bro code, Radd!
Sedgar is starting to see quite a bit of use. I need him too. Generic Pirates act as bait that made the chapter ten times smoother. Jules raids the chests for a loot, and everyone else pushes down. Boss drops to 2 Silvers from Jagen, And an Iron/Steel Bow combo from Barst/Sedgar respectively.

Caesar used his new forge with great results. He must have killed a whole one enemy on his own in that chapter. What a guy!

Well, this chapter was annoying. I mean, it was pretty straightforward, with my archers wrecking the fliers, but the reinforcements kept on killing my scrubs! Boss was pretty easy to because Jeigan is a cheater. Also he got another hax level...so fair.

Pretty easy chapter, all in all. Buying resources took all of the money I had and then some from selling the Silver Sword/Silver Axe and all of the redundant irons. Hope it was worth it! Anyways, boss didn't get doubled by Jeigan, so he tagteamed it with Biraku. HEAT HEAT. Everyone else got levels and wow, Cain really is the best.

Chapter 10- 13/69 turns

Well, this one was a PITA. Jeigan went down with a few people (er, Roger, Gordin, Castor, Darros, and Athena), and they took the cavaliers (with great difficulty) and the Dracoknights (surprisingly less difficult, I can thank Athena for that one). Marth went into the castle with everyone else, and damn, was killing the archer brigade a PITA. Sud've reclassed Jeigan to something that could snipe them from the outside, I dunno. Anyways, got Maria, got the heck out of there, and killed boss, and GG Ch.10...oh, how I hate you.

Chapter 11- 9/78 turns

Not too bad, Jeigan, Marth, and most of the army romped up top, with Jeigan weakening the Sniper and killing the Horsemen, letting my other units get some EXP, and weakening Khozen, and finishing off the boss...oh right, my other units. Well, Marth and Vyland and Wendell were bro, Wendell actually killing Khozen, and other people were good at chipping...Jeorge's healing was bro too I guess. Downside, Roger helped weaken some units with Athena and Cain so Maria could get EXP because she is a valuable member of the party unlike Gordin nobias.
Oh, and I forged her Combat Knife (no prizes for guessing its parameters). How apropos.

So apparently sometime in The Pastâ„¢, I lost my savefile and had to start over. This was really supremely tragic, because reading back my last team looked really bro and looking at my Chapter 7 savefile now...my team looks quite a bit less bro (Chapter 7 comparisons below). Anyways, apparently I had recorded videos of chapters that I've already done and they've been rotting on my hard drive! So I'll be uploading those (on Chapter 7 currently, and no videos of Gaiden chapters) and after that's all and done with, continuing on from there. Can I just say that I'm so happy that I don't have to do any of the early chapters because those are the literal worst in this type of setting. I can only imagine the retroactive pain I feel after watching these videos, let alone actually doing it AGAIN.

IT'S ME AGAIN BABY OHHHHHHHHH DAS RIGHT ME OHOHOHO I'M STILL THE KING STILL THE STILL THE KING AFTER ALL OF THESE YEARS

Chapter 1- 6/6 turns

Skipped the 10k village because I don't see myself needing THAT much money any time soon.  Abel and Caeda diverted most of the enemies on Turn 2 so that Marth, Jeigan, and Cain could push on ahead (Jeigan had to hit the furthest pirate with a Javelin twice so it wouldn't get in the way later...plus it let him chip the Hunter on enemy phase so that Cain could finish it off on the next turn with an Iron Lance).  Gordin (and later Abel and Caeda) had to push back so that they wouldn't die, with Doga tanking the enemies for the rest of the map.  I could have 5 turned with this strat if Jeigan got a 62% hit 5% crit, but I'm playing on cart so...no.  My boss strategy was supposed to be Jeigan hitting the boss once (with no other enemies in range of him, hence the extra turn taken), Cain hitting it on the next turn (barely surviving with 1HP), and Jeigan finishing it off.  Instead Jeigan decided to critblilck the boss, allowing Cain to kill an enemy on the final turn for 30 extra EXP (POINTS).

Cain got a Skl/Spd/Lck/Def level.

Chapter 2- 5/11 turns

This chapter was almost as bad as Chapter 1.  Jeigan chipped the nearby northern pirate with a Javelin, with Marth trade equipping Jeigan with the Silver Lance shortly afterwards;  this baits the cavaliers and Castor.  Near the starting position, I had Doga block off the enemies from progressing (except for Darros, who had gotten through on Turn 1 enemy phase).  Luckily, Castor goes for Cain for some reason otherwise Jeigan would have taken too many hits on Turn 2 enemy phase and died.  Marth stayed put to recruit Darros on the same phase.  Castor, Gordin, and Darros (almost) successfully routed all of the nearby enemies allowing Marth, Cain, and Jeigan to move ahead.  On turn 4, Marth visited the village, Jeigan parked near the boss with his Silver Lance (after using his vulnerary again, leaving it at a precarious 1/3 uses), and everyone else did their best to not die.  Jeigan crit the boss again, though, meaning any complex boss killing strategies were not required, thank fuck.  I actually managed to feed a kill to both Gordin and Cain on the last turn thanks to this (POINTS).

Marth got an HP/Str/Skl/Spd/Lck/Def level (almost perfect!).  Jeigan got a Skl/Spd level.  Gordin evened out my karma by getting an HP/Lck level...fucker.

Doga died on the last turn.  So did Bord (unnecessarily, because a hunter got a lucky 2% crit on him and OHKOed him outright).

Chapter 3- 6/17 turns

This chapter was refreshingly simple by comparison.  My dudes went left, with Jeigan being the first to draw in the initial wave of fighters.  I had Marth get the Devil Axe, because there was no way in hell I was beating the boss without it.  Afterwards, the rest of them cleared house (shoutouts to Gordin's HP proc last chapter actually being useful, as it let him barely survive being ORKOed by a fighter who doubled him and Darros for hitting like a truck with the Devil Axe).  Jeigan baited the Steel Axe fighter and then stood next to the boss on the next turn with a Steel Sword while the rest of my motley group valiantly attempted to finish off the two fighters.  A Steel Sword hit from both Jeigan and Cain along with a Devil Axe hit from Darros was enough to penetrate Hyman.

Chapter 4- 7/24 turns

Forged a 40/40 use Iron Sword for Gordin with +3 Might/+9% Crit named Mistletoe.  It's basically a knockoff Mystletainn.

Man, this chapter was a huge pain in the ass.  Jeigan baited two cavaliers on Turn 2 enemy phase, but the rest of my army 1) couldn't reach, with the exception of Gordin and Castor and 2) could not finish all of them off.  Gordin did get some sick enemy phase action, being able to nearly 2RKO the enemies thanks to his insanely powerful forge (although he got 2HKOed even on a fort...thanks, save points!).  Afterwards, I had Jeigan kill one of the archers, aaaaaaaaaaand...he had to dodge the other archer who had ~74% hit on him (thanks, save points!).  On the next turn, I killed the armor knight and baited the two Horsemen.  This let me wall them off with the rest of my units, while Marth rushed forwards and Jeigan proceeded to duel the boss.  He 3HKOed the boss (taking into account fort healing), which is good because he only had 3 attacks to work with (and would have been KOed on further attacks anyways).

Right, I also remembered to recruit Merric.  I need him to get Wendell, after all.  Also I bought a Steel Lance.

Oh yeah, and Ogma, Barst, and Bord were sacrificed in an attempt to divert the enemies on the right.  RIP.

Jeigan got an HP/Str level.  Cain got an HP/Skl/Spd level.  Gordin got two levels which added up to HP/Str/2 Spd/Lck/Def.  Hey, that's like ONE good level!  Looking at my previous attempt, my levels were way better there than they are now.  Hopefully that doesn't fuck me over later on...

Chapter 5- 4/28

Forged a 39/40 use Iron Axe for Castor with +3 Might/+15% Hit/+9% Crit named HIT FFS.  Self explanatory name.

Jeigan baited the Pegasus on Turn 1 along with killing all of the cavaliers up north with the Ridersbane.  This triggers Wendell to move (which would have allowed me to 5 turn the map if I wasn't a HUGE CHEATER).  I used Hardin and the portions of his brigade that weren't on my team to bait the enemies towards the western corner.  Roshea and Biraku joined up with the rest of my team to mop up the meager resistance; in doing so, my team got some fairly good levels (thank you, savepoints).  Because the boss had 27HP and 13Def, Jeigan had enough strength to KO the boss with a 5% critical...which is what I did (thank you, savepoints).  I'm not sorry; no one else is doing this draft anyways!

Bought 2 more Javelins, a Handaxe, and 2 Steel Bows.  I then bought 3 Fire Tomes before the start of the next chapter.  GET HYPE.

Wolf died during the chapter.  This is actually bad, since he would've made a good meatshield in the following chapters.  Oh well.

It's a testament to how bad my team is that I have NINE party members and the next chapter is still going to be hell on Earth.
