PM ME MARIANNE ART Posted December 14, 2013 Share Posted December 14, 2013 Hello, friends! I have decided to do a screenshot LP of my trainwreck through FE5. Not sure what I'm thinking here. This will be a side project to the FE6 Manly Run, so it will not get updated as much. The game will be played on Elite mode, because I don't want to tear my hair out every level. So, I will accept any tips you can offer, but please don't spoil anything, as I have never actually played this, or looked up spoilers before. Chapter one will be up tonight or tomorrow, depending on when I have time. Sorry about not posting it in the OP, but even for it, is there anything there that I shouldn't miss? Like, certain villages I should definitely not let the enemies get to, and other things of that nature. I'd also like to know who's actually worth training, like that I think one of the fighters in chapter one has really nice speed, so I was thinking about using him, but I don't know, is he going to suck? Randa Posted December 14, 2013 Share Posted December 14, 2013 You should definetly use Marty I believe elite mode doubles exp gain not growth rates, so it may still be frustrating. I don't have much time to work with my emulator right now, but I will in a couple days because my exams only take up half the school day. So basically, chapter one will be up in a couple days! So can someone explaining the doubling mechanics now? I don't understand. I thought in this game you could only double if you had the Double skill (Like what Leaf has), but Othin and Havan were doubling soldiers after they got some speed. ANd also the setting screens and the battle thing. That was interesting... Anything I should definitely know for the next chapter? Caster Posted December 17, 2013 Share Posted December 17, 2013 Recruitment theme for your ears. Othin crits a ton because he has Wrath, which always crits on a counterattack. Save all villages next chapter for a gaiden chapter. Don't overuse Dagda too much, he is a Jeigan, and his growths are reaaaaallly bad. He's very useful though and can pretty much last the entire game due to his bases. Stats on the attack screen go Level Hp Attack Defense Hit rate Crit rate Aaaand something else I don't remember. Tamanoir Posted December 18, 2013 Share Posted December 18, 2013 (edited) Othin and Havan are both amazing.You can't be wrong using them. Use them both. Tanya is OK. She's one of the best Archer of the game. Only problem is her Build (Con equivalent, used in capture and Steal), and lack of special skill. Finn is pretty good, mainly for Prayer and the Brave Lance. Dagda's main use is to capture ennemy before Othin and Halvan catch up. His stats are OK,but he won't change a lot. Marty is a Tank, and have amazing Promo bonus, but its skill and speed still are absolutely horrendous. I like it I like his speed, but not much else There was a lot of missing in this level This dude gets some really nice levels Wrath is so great in this game! Why does it suck in FE13? Fin plays a pretty big role in this level He has high speed and I like it Um, fuck you Who gets it? I think it should go to Othin, but what is your guys' opinion? This guy's Double skill was really cool when he kept missing Like now... The missing trend keeps going Dismounting is really cool! Yes Fin! Um, I don't know his dismounted bases... Othin got a crit and it wasn't from Wrath He keeps getting strength. I like it If only my friends in the FE6 run were this lucky Ronan has mostly just been chipping And his level up was shit. Is this guy a scrub? Cause he has cool hair I'm not a big fan of Leaf So Leaf just attacked three times. I guess it must be his Double skill Havan is doing better than Othin but no wrath/10 Yeah Havan! So how did this guy have 17 defense? It said on his status screen that he only had seven... PUGI!!!
