Picking Piers has no advantage at all, because his high starting level is kinda irrelevant since we can just grind anyway. Ultimately, the drafting choices for Book 2 involve all combinations of physical/magical characters with physical/magical classes. I don't see why choosing the physical character + magical class combination should penalize the player by having one person not being able to summon or something for the early part of the game. I doubt anybody actually cares much about the draft (including me, since I just wanna play Golden Sun again). And yes, Euklyd has the best team. He's the only player that has both a Level 4 summon AND a character aligned to the same element. What's more is that it happens to be of an element (Mars) that at least half of the bosses are weak to. Neptune + Judgment are also very good and hit the weaknesses of all the other bosses.
